Very Well understood please my question is if 2.5 is standard neck width for everyone even for plus size too ? My shoulder measurement is 17.5 and my burst is 44 please can i also use 2.5 as my neck Dept measurement thanks

No it is not. But it always works out for most people except when one is extra large

What if i am making a shirt do i use the normal shirt length plus hemming allowance?

If the length of the top is say 25 inches , add like 3 inches to it plus hemming allowance
