its odd to say that tropical has value as well and then contradict that by saying its “unfortunate” they dont use the visible sky

That’s only a contradiction in your mind. Aten is simply pointing out a subtle nuance between the two schools of astrological thought. The truly unfortunate part you seem stuck on is people failing to appreciate it all.

@BlacksParson If tropical has value for what it is then there is nothing unfortunate about not aligning with the visible sky. Otherwise it would cease to be what it is, and it wouldnt be unique
