The background instrumental music it's so delicious to the ear that ,I don't noticed that the video it's already 13minutes done, excellent work editing the video and telling the story, it....makes me travel as well.
Absolutely stunning scenery, stunning Lea dressed for dinner in a beautiful location, the roads and trails were awesome and fun to ride, yes we shall be with you for both videos next week, your usual Thursday presentation may be watched in the Yorkshire Dales as we are riding around the Dales again, beautiful places to visit with amazing roads, hope it is not too wet, take care and ride safe, Dx
I do, i do like the video... Great riding and beautiful scenery, with all your videos you give me idea's of where id like to go on holiday, so you do provide a valuable and interesting trips.. Thank you so much...
Hello from Stockholm Sweden here. Great videos from your roadtrips around the north. Now you got me inspired to explore more of my own country on 2-wheels.. 👍🏍
Hi Dear. You have shown a very beautiful village in this video..I love to travel abroad on bikes like you..That's why I look forward to seeing your every video..👍👍👍
A real lean back& enjoy video with an amazing introduction! It's so beautiful and interesting to travel with you! And next week double video pleasure, so cool, thank you!!!
Thank you for this video. Yes things tend to happen when out on longer motorcycle journeys. I've hade brake failure and clutch failure for example. And it's these things you remember and laugh about afterwards. I've lost my plate too but close to home. Still I couldn't find it.
Good afternoon Lea and travel partner excellent vid loved the roads and dirt tracks..your channel always makes me very hungry all the food you show ..not complaining!!. Licence plate did a runner..but think you are the queen of duck tape..awesome Shall be looking forward to your next vids..the beautiful Yamaha t700 so looking forward to it 🏍👍
I prefer to hit the road early in the morning too. The trafic is low, the temperature is colder , the light is beautiful and all this make a better and safer trip. Loved the castles, the small roads and the way you always put a little bit of history and curiosities in your viedeos. I was deeply touched by your partne's homage to his grandfather. I would have done the same if I were him. Family is everything. Ride safe Lea !
I also lost a license plate riding my motorcycle, I went back and forth looking for it, never found it. I don’t know if anyone has told you, but you do an excellent job narrating.
Thank you so much! Happens to the best I guess, the lost plate. On my long journeys I always had a better license plate holder than the normal ones - now I know that it makes sense!
Hi Lea. Greetings from Oz. Magnificent architecture and stunning scenery. Nothing wrong with a cardboard number plate ! ! Thank you for taking us along on your adventure.
I love how you just drop witty comments into your narrative, case in point the license plate. You must be even more hilarious in German. Beautiful and touching episode. I am not looking forward to this coming to an end. It has been an amazing trip, Thank you for doing an amazing job.
Really nice video showing the beautiful towns around Vättern. There are many to visit. There is a famous cycle event each year around Vättern. All of 315km of it in June usually. Sorry you lost the number plate. Look forward to your T700 review.
Gränna is such a magnificent little town, I stop by there every chance I get. I like to portray it like if child novel writer Astrid Lindgren had designed the town. Roses, cobblestone roads, tiny parks and green courtyards everywhere, small densely packed houses in pastel colors, many of which are candy cane-makers. Like picked right out of a kids story. But so do many people feel and most of the summer this place is crowded with tourists and travelers. I still love it though and have yet to have done the trip on bike. Maybe this summer =)
Interesting choice of music in your introduction. It sounded very familiar to my American ears. Thanks for another beautifully made travel log from Sweden.
Beautiful ! I must say that rural Sweden looks much like Pennsylvania, except for the ancient stone architecture. As to the lost plate, same thing happened to Noraly her first days in Argentina.
Lovely again it’s amazing how small things like a number plate can cause a worry hope there are no repercussions or fines look forward to seeing the Yamaha report .
Thank you for your really inspiring videos. I have lived 10 uears in Sweden now, but am still missing to see Sweden. Plans for this summer goes through Poland to the Alps, but if Covid stoppes us from this we will for sire start exploring the more northern part of Sweden, and here will yoir videos be a great inspiration.
Hi Lea. Bad luck about the number plate but your solution was very creative. Hope it passed Swedish police inspection. Good news about your Tenere return from Africa. Looking forward to seeing it again next week. Hope you are well. Stay safe. Cheers, Dan 🏍👍🇨🇦
Sweden has very nice motorways. Stenhus sounds like the name of the earlier castle in Tilburg, my home town. It was called ‘de stenen kamer’; the room of stone. Hus sounds like huis; house. In several dialects it is still called hus (hüs). I glued my license plate to the license plate holder with two components glue. You can’t loose it and thieves will have a very difficult time.
The video quality is exceptional as well as the choice in music. Thank you for sharing!🙏🏽 how very fortunate you are to travel & so positive, inspirational, funny - everything is just 👍🏽 - hope no fines were collected with the diva 🤣
Really enjoyed the video, and it will be interesting to hear your review on Fox, it being a much lighter more dirt focused bike than the big GS, I must say you are a very accomplished rider, and handle the big GS very well. So I'm looking forward to what you have to say about the Tenere. And I must re-visit some of your African adventure videos, it's been a while since a last viewed that series. And here in the UK I cannot wait to get out on my 1250 GS ADV now lockdown is easing, western Isles of Scotland here I come. Thank you...
Without spoiling too much : I think the Yamaha Tenere is such a great bike for Adv riding. But the GS was indeed very comfortable and perfect for all the more easy riding we did on this trip in Scandinavia.
Wieder eine unglaublich schöne Landschaft. Und die Zeit vergeht mit Ihnen als Gesellschaft. Ductape to the rescue !. Ich bin gespannt, wie dein eigenes Motorrad jetzt aussieht. Vielen Dank, Lea.
So you prefer the tranquility and solitude of the north over the more cultural south? me too, culture and history is brilliant but for me it's nature every time
Traveling across Eureope to visite a grave is so very goth! The proximity to Gothland is most appropriate there. Lesson learnt from Itchy Boots' loss of her license plate in Argentina and your travel Partner's one here: Before starting on a trip like this, take off the license plate and cover its entire mount with double sided sticky tape, then put the plate back in place. Then cover the undersides of the screw heads with a glue that fills gaps and screw them in. Next hold a black mess to put a spell on the license plate to protect it from the inhabitants of graveyards. That should do it. Will update this list.
@@njpaddler Most mounting plates are made of steel, license plates are made of aluminium or plastic. While there is aluminium solder now, it's a complicated method. Plastic doesn't weld or solder or anything. Well, Epoxy. That's as close to welding as you'll ever get. Let's agree on epoxic resin as the weld-equivalent?
That was a nice surprise, my mother was from Jönköping and as a child we had holidays on lake Vättern . A lovely place and your video is excellent (as always!).
What! Up and ready to go at 6 am. You’re supposed to be on holiday 😀. Anyway, enjoyed seeing more nice roads and castles 🏰. Always like a good castle especially with a moat. Pleased to hear you’ve got the Fox back and will look forward to the review, the Ducati’s review isn’t going to be great is it?😅. Especially with you pointing out the BMW has used no oil and no bits have fallen off!
It’s a bit unfortunate because my travel partner added his thoughts about this after I said “the bmw used no oil”. He then said “yes, you as well don’t check it so often” 😂😂😂 but I didn’t record it.

The music at the beginning is "Uti vår hage" "Out in our paddock" traditional Swedish folk music, recorded from Gotland ca.1880.
