Euro NCAP Crash & Safety Tests of Hyundai TUCSON 2021

- Опубликовано: 13 сен 2024
- Euro NCAP performs a series of crash and safety tests on car models:
- a frontal impact test, 50% of the width of the car is striking an oncoming deformable barrier, also travelling at 50 km/h
- a frontal impact test, the car impacts a rigid full width barrier
- a side impact test, a mobile deformable barrier impacts the driver's door and the robustness of the centre airbag is evaluated
- a pole test, the tested car is propelled sideways into a rigid pole.
A series of pedestrian tests are conducted with different impactors, adult and child head form, lower and upper leg form and whiplash tests are performed on a sled as well as AEB pedestrian and cyclist tests.
Active safety is tested based on the car’s equipment: autonomous emergency braking car-to-car scenarios, occupant status monitoring (including seatbelt reminders), lane support and speed assistance technologies.

Today I learned the Tucson has a center airbag.
me too 😀
A lot of Hyundai models do.
Most cars do. Normal SRS Airbag is labeled on side on driver seat. I believe. I know my car has it. And a knee airbag under the steering wheel. All kinds of airbags.
@@dave7315 Not really, many cars still don’t have one.
Chevy traverse created it
Why did they stop showing the speed level on the measurements of active security systems?🤔
Good to know may new purchase is safe!!
Good to know my brand new Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Plugin has pretty good safety.
You can’t beat a Volvo v70 for safety
@Rafa Towers Im talking about the 2002 model :)
@@Slothdeman but Volvo Expensive
Just don’t go testing it!!
@@zlooocz I picked up a 2003 model for £1200
Very good cars, built to last
I love my Tucson 👌👌👌
i have a 2022 , it saved me 4 times now from people either cutting infront and braking suddenly, or just randomly doing a hard stop like you mentioned. this braking tech is awesome!! and i feel like they fixed this lane issue ur describing , it’s good for the most part :) cheers!
@@scorpi173 Oui, peut-être qu'ils ont amélioré la technologie depuis
What is the mean 86%, 87%, 66%, 70% ? Thanks your video !
Желаю всем удачи, здоровья, любви, счастья, успехов!
it was so close to 4 stars!!
I thought at side the car was going to roll but didnt
diggin da musikk
Amazing test accident nice
👍👍👍👌Nice👍
WOAH
Not knee?
Good I drive 2022
On side mobile barrier it almost turned down
You guys should get a whole army of cars and go at the same time and see how they react
why 50?
It's the standard
It's okay
next to it looks like opel astra belt
Don't get hit from the side.
My father used nissan almera 2012 how many stars?
And old airbags can
Not enough to say good.
WoW! 5 stars! 라틴ncap is 0 stars...
1:14 very bad !
Rip passengers neck
Dude, these are dummys. You cant judge their movements and compare them to a human's in an actual crash. And no matter which car you crash in there will always be considerable amount of jerk to the body
It’s getting destroyed
How on earth this thing got 5 stars!? Side pole test is catastrophically bad.
It is for the car, but the airbag intervened in time to protect the passenger.
Almost all cars bend this bad on pole test. Maybe not the electric ones which have a more sturdy lower part due to batteries.
Aniway, the stars are given based in average score. Maybe he did scored better by far one other tests and the avrege score was a pass for 5 stars.
It's not, it's actually on par with it's competitors. Only the electric cars perform better than that on the Side Pole Test, for obvious reasons (more rigid lower compartment)
Numbers were kinda low.
@@disco.lemonade well, then buy a 70k-100k car, not a 35k one. 😉
@@Soche2006 But will a $100K car be better at safety? Nope. Expensive cars focus on performance and luxury. My comment was because Hyundai is supposed to be good at safety, but seeing this video... I don't know.
Very bad built quality 🥺
