His mom saying "he would of loved this sht" got me
Dang me too
@Jeffery Filler holy crap you
Need Jesus what is wrong with you 😡😤🤬 no class whatsoever
Damm this gets me to
this shit*
It's ok to type English on the internet.
@@OriginalPuro no shit
I don't know if this is appropriate to say, but Nick is part of Phil's crew now. And they'll always be watching over the rail and down on the many family they have throughout the fleet. Rest well, Nick.
Also former CM deckhand Mark Anderson, CM captain after Phil's passing Tony Lara and Summer Bay deckhand Mahlon Reyes.
Very well said 👏👏👏
Love that 💪🧡
That’s very appropriate to say! I love that ❤️
Fair* winds and following seas to all the fishermen and sailors lost to the Bering Sea.
Seeing Jake crying like that hurts man. Hes fully aware, as am I, what a terrifying and unmercifull nightmare addiction is.
That part got me man..I always loved Jake and Nick so it hit different.
U and me both mate 👍 no matter how many miles separate us ✌GB
I commented above
It’s the “Loud & Proud” part from Jonathan Hillstrand that gets me ….
Is jake an addict
Yes Jake is a recovering addict
When Keanu reeves was asked what he thought happens when we die. He said “ I know the ones who love us will miss us” and I couldn’t agree more
Man, this got me right in the feels.. It's not every day you see a man like Wild Bill get emotional.
Calm seas, Nick. Rest well.
Bill has always been emotional, just like Keith. Of course he plays tough when it comes to being a Captain but throughout this series I’ve seen Bill get emotional a lot
Calm seas in hell loll
yeah man, I shed a tear when jake started crying
Same bro this hit me hard had a few tears well up at this. Like you said it’s not every day you see guys like Wild Bill and Jake and Sig and all get emotional but seeing it gives you a real sense of how much they love and care their crew and how much this hurts losing Nick. Rest in peace in the Sea of heaven, rest well indeed Nick.
I’ve watched the show since the beginning never missed a season. Kind of like growing up with a family member sometimes. Godspeed Nick, your humor and your drive was amazing. Rest in peace
Who?
👍✌GB
That's the thing with a show that runs for so long. You literally grow up with them. Sig's daughter Mandy? Yeah, you can see her as a preteen (probably younger, I can't remember) in one of the early seasons. Now she's a full grown (and quite beautiful, it has to be said) adult out fishing with her dad instead of just greeting him on the shore after a season.
@@randomlyentertaining8287 LMAO.
He was such a good example of loyalty and honor. Wild Bill def had a spot for him in his heart. I hate to say it but I always felt like he thought Nick was his son. His actual son was a bad leader and lazy and probably still is. I think Nick relapsed and got a hold of some H that had fentanyl instead of heroin. Poor dude. He seemed to be doing so good.
Bil says: I'll understand if no one shows up...
Everybody is there!
Now that is respect, awesomely done, everybody.
Every tribute to a fallen sailor or sunken ship they do so well. It's a brotherhood & wrenches your gut every time the Discovery crew films tragedy on the sea. I cry EVERY...SINGLE...TIME.
RIP Nick. You're Deadliest Catch fans will miss you dearly!
It's the #1 most dangerous job in the world. Those crews have unparalleled comradery, every single man's life on the crew depends on every individual. When you work that close to death every day you get real close to the people around you at work. And it doesn't matter what color you are or if you are a genius or sixth grade education everybody on the crew are brothers and on the same level. RIP Nick.
4:36 That “Oh my god” you can his voice getting all choked up, shows how much it meant to see that, that’s just beyond awesome to see all the ships coming together and paying there respects, truly incredible
I knew Nick as a teenager and then as a TV star. He was a nice and respectful young man. I was on his dad's ship and knew them well. RIP Nick. I can't believe his dad wasn't there.
Didnt he have problems with drink and drugs
@@joanofarc708 yeah but still a good man. I used to have problems during life as we all do.
@@joanofarc708not everyone is perfect bud
@@joanofarc708 are you perfect? Do you still deserve love and respect? I know that I am not.
@@Evian1990 no im not perfect far from it i have my own struggles
I'm gonna be honest hearing the bag pipes playing and seeing every boat there has this grown a$$ tough guy crying like a punk and I don't care. Fly High Nick Your Never Gonna be Forgotten
My dad watched this show all the time when I was at his house because were both fisherman now and I was about 7 at the time I always seen nick and thought he was hilarious. Nostalgia is a killer
me too mate
do you know the song? I'm trying to Shazam it but it won't work

Nothing wrong with a grown man shedding a tear, but when you compare it to a punk crying , too different ppl...
I gained alot of respect for Jake for bringing Nick's family to see how they honor Nick was a great gesture, Its was very hard for Jake personally hes going thru it and could have relapsed when his dad died but he kept it together. RIP Nick
It took a very strong will for Jake not to fall off the wagon in this situation.
Jake Anderson Is an amazing man. He’s the story of hard work gets you places while dealing with addiction.. from deck hand to captain. Seeing him cry got my heart strings pulled.
Completely agree.
No excuse for drug addiction. Our free will allows the choice. I tried hard drugs and said no thanks. Its an easy choice.
@@crackerbrick1903 I completely agree with you. But it’s about your free will. If you choose to do it it can take ahold of you without you even realizing it.
@crackerbrick1903 what's simple for you is hard for others. Don't be too hasty to judge
Some people are genetically preconditioned for addiction. Count yourself lucky that you are not. @@crackerbrick1903
Phil Harris, Justin Tennison, Nick Mcglashan...
May they sail forevermore.
Don't forget Tony Lara, he seemed like he was a great Captain with the CM. he cared, worked hard, and understood that he wanted to see the Harris boys move forward.
Blake Painter.
Todd too
Mahlon Reyes too
The entire Destination Crew
The show of universal respect to Bill was emotional & overwhelming ✊️😔. I’d be willing to “bet the bank” on the fact that if any of the other boats lost a crew member & they organised a farewell like this, Bill & the “Summer Bay” crew would be the first guys out there for the memorial ☝️😔. This was an incredible gesture for a guy who was literally like Bill’s very own son.
makes me truely believe the old sailors saying "all men at sea are brothers"
God bless all fishermen. RIP Nick.
@@cherylcarroll7916 … We hear so often about boats going down & fishermen dying as a result & when we see how it affects other fishermen, it helps indicate just how dangerous their profession is. Look at the moments where we heard about Mahlon passing away & the sinking of the Scandies Rose & the Destination, one of which affected Sig immensely as their skipper was a close friend of his.
Rip nick
You can tell BIlls emotional barriers were breaking down from the moment he saw everyone came out, you can hear it in his voice, but when Jake tells him he brought out Nicks family for it too, you can see that moment they are all gone. Props to all of them for coming out for this. Some things are more important than making money.
Rip, may your pots always be full, and the wind at your back.
The editing of this tribute was incredible. Really captured the emotions, the grief, the celebration of life. I can’t imagine grieving in front of a camera but I think the team did Nick well and the editing team did the team well. Amazing
If your heart doesn't break watching this tribute to Nick, you better check your own pulse. This gave me chills at times and almost break down at others and happy the way everyone showed up to pay tribute to probably the most respected and beloved deckhands.
I cried, have been watching since very beginning here in China, Nick was one of my favorite, he worked so hard, rest in peace Nick
@PandAsaki yep crazy. He was such a positive good kid. Nuts.
They air this in China?
@@twotailedavenger yes we can watch this in China , not very popular, but still the way to watch
They weren't just there for Nick. They were there for Bill. Jake for the win for getting Nick's family on board. These guys are awesome
The lump in my throat doesnt go away no matter how many times I see this. It's ok to shed tears for this. Someone you've fought for, stood side by side with. Those are the people that you don't want to see gone for no reason. RIP Nick.
What a beautiful tribute to Nick! Love when Bill pulled up and saw the whole fleet waiting for him. You guys are the real deal. Rest easy brother!

Approx 20 years ago a family member fell into water collecting his crab pots mid winter north of Scotland, by grace of god he was rescued 45 minutes later but he has never ever been the same since. The extreme cold damaged his brain however he regained all his physical abilities and went on to become a fireman. Moral of the story is never give up hope.
RIP
What an incredible brotherhood. I've never had a job that was life or death but I have several friends who were in Special Forces and you can see when they get together that there is something more than friendship there.
They might be just a bunch of fishermen who put their lives on the lines for something they love to do…..but they’re actually one giant family
they sure do, for us!
I've literally just started watching this show... Through you tube clips. And I already feel like part of the family... watching this was heartbreaking... I've had friends pass from addiction as well and it leaves alot of pain in its wake... God bless all the families of DC and anyone who as lost a loved one from this terrible disease.
I feel you brother, only started watching this show myself and can relate alot with nick unfortunately. Drink and drugs got a grip of me 2 years ago my head was just ambushed by things in the past only way to control the shit was drink and drugs. It's a horrible place to be but I'll crawl my way out of it I always do.

RIP Nick and Mahlon. As a long term Deadliest Catch watcher, this was devastating.
What a beautiful tribute. I was so happy to see his family was there. Tears are flowing. May you Rest in Peace.
He was a character and a hell of a hard worker. Watched this show for years and he always made me chuckle when he’d tell feeble new greenhorns to grow a pair when they’d complain. RIP Nick.
He had the old school ball busting method for training but as brash as he was he worked hard and was pretty funny and once you proved yourself he still busted your balls but by then you laughed it off
Beautiful send-off - Nick was an absolute trooper and one of the guys captains lean on a lot. You've earned your rest Nick - godspeed brother.. 😓❤
The deckhand that never stopped tending to his crew. Even in death, I hope they find sollace and comfort. Nick, May the hand of the sea carry you through the afterlife.
You can see the hurt in Wild Bills eyes 😢 RIP Nick
