It also came about at a time when production companies and radio conglomerates really started to hone their craft. That means that they pounced on it immediately and basically made it impossible for the average GOOD artist to make any real profit off of it. Going back to the roots is what we need right now. More personal connection, less digital BS. More shows, big events and personal appearances. Go outside, meet people. I remember before the internet, everyone went outside and did stuff. We were also a much happier society.
