The copper colour of the dress is lovely on you.
I have never seen anyone who can rock the large prints better than you, nor anyone who can match you in picking just the right colors to suit. Of course, maybe you are one of those rare people who can wear virtually anything! I especially am amazed at your skill at pattern placement, particularly on fabrics with large, irregular designs, where the wrong decision would mean disaster. I’m sure I would have looked at that chiffon print and said to myself, how on earth can I make that work? But you did! Very inspirational.

Once again your fabric to pattern selections are stellar!! My faves? The fantail in the blue, the heron in the chiffon (wow!) And the blouse in the lady McElroy. Tx for pattern reviews. I'm more of a clothes refurbisher (of my own makes)...haven't bought new pattern since covid started and still using up my fabric stash.

Beautiful makes. The one and only pattern of theirs that I own is the Sidewinder Pants and I can’t say enough good things. I’ve made 2 pair and there will be more. LOVE the first blouse with high low hem. ❤️🌵🇺🇸

Such gorgeous makes! Especially the high neck Heron top with the abstract pink and earthy/black tones and a surprise rainbow on the sleeve, it’s a huge winner.
Fabulous job of pairing fabrics to patterns. These all look amazing on you. I love the look on others, but I just don’t like the feeling when I wear elastic sleeves or necklines. So these patterns aren’t for me. I have to be careful that I purchase patterns that really suit me and how I really dress rather than what I wish I would wear. (There might be a few dress patterns languishing in my collection). Hmmm. I just realized that I may be able to make some adjustments and sew up a blouse as you did with your dress pattern. Thanks for the inspiration! Sewing in Oregon, USA. 💕
I've made The Sewing Revival's Pukeoko pants and they are fantastic. They fit me perfectly and they were such a quick make. I'm just about to make another pair. I also have the Mallard Coat - both short and long to make too.

I love The Sewing Revival. I have made the Heron Blouse in a soft cotton lawn. Perfect for our hot Summer days. I like that you made the Fantail in a rayon. I've always had in mind a linen but I like the look of the rayon. And the Nikau dress is another I plan to make. I have a lovely soft sateen that I've been wondering what to do with and now I know!

All lovely makes.,! I had that ‘scenic’ fabric in my cart on the weekend and the took it out because I wasn’t sure what it would look like in a top. But yours looks fantastic!

The Bellbird top was one of the very first tops I made when I picked sewing back up again last year and it’s one of the only patterns I’ve made multiples of! I love it so much!!! I need to check out the Nikau top/dress!!

I just made the straight size 14 and it fits quite good! The instructions are a little tricky but it came together well!
