Thanks for your tutorial. It helped me You can also buy the original spare part from BMW with the BMW stamp in the plastic. BMW has also now changed the handle to completely plastic without the rubber coating. There is almost no difference between the original and the red dragon, except the leather pattern and the plastic color look better and fit better to the rest of the interior panelling. Price difference is 90€ for original BMW and 14€ for red dragon. I had both and I took the original. You don't put shit in a car that used to cost 80k€.

I’m replacing mine too. The trunk handle is made from the same rubber type material and I just replaced that too
