      Out of fear? Of what? A fight with Segal would probably go something like this. "Okay, so come at me, like this. No, more like this, it's an underhanded stabbing motion. No, but, aim for the middle, right here. Okay, and then I do this and you go flying. No man. You're not doing it right."

    • @rosemyers2165
      @rosemyers2165 Год назад +4

      It's more than just simple, primal fear involved with his guitar strings and fingers. You see, he is able to perform with a certain charismatic artisanship in which his guitar strings almost literally become a part of his will, a part of his creative essence, and it gains strength through the ears and minds who recieve it and thus react to it. This energy, when plugged or tapped into things, is a life sustaining thing all in itself, and can easily remove the future need or fossil fuel and even electricity. It can function as a vibrational wall or dome around an actual organic utopia..like maybe what you see on the cover of Yessongs or Close to the Edge..or Fragile.
      So it IS safe to say that Segal is one of The finest guitarists of today, and probably of all time.

    Steven Segul gives an astonishing performance as notes of every color bloom, in a splendor of creative expression. Every hue in the sonic rainbow is remarkably coaxed from the instrument, in order to illicit emotions that no words could express. @@gazza1252 ohh it should have been elicit. True. Splendour is not an error, though, because Americans spell it that way, by your own admission. It was also very well-written so why the pedantry? Sometimes autocorrect inserts a different but more common word
      It was such a brilliantly written satire that I feel it should be celebrated. There is so much rubbish written on RUclips that the odd diamond in the rough stands out as a true gem, not to mix metaphors. Literacy and critical thinking are sorely lacking, and this writer seems bright. And last but not least, do you really think a person who writes 'made me LOL' can criticise another person's quite brilliant use of language? Do you not see a disparity there? Even Steven Segall would. You're welcome.

      The first one was basicaly nothing and seems silly if that's literaly all a person focuses on for reasons that are self evident. The second thing was fake. IDk if they just played some other music entirely over the video or if it was him actually miming the music and the music was what was played at the show. TBH, it's very common for musicians to mime on stage... You can literaly just play prerecorded stuff, pretend to be playing and people can't tell the difference. It happens all the time just like lip sinking. Not saying it's good or bad, sometimes you have to use prerecorded stuff in order to get better or to compensate for not having band mates to play all the parts. I just don't respect trickery. Either way he was not actually playing the second piece of music at all. 😅 I went to a metal show at a bar a while back and all the bands that played had prerecorded parts and miming in their performances... Even a drummer had extra bass drum hits that he wasn't actually playing being played by a recording... I get it, if you make music that is some crazy inhuman stuff or can't play all the parts live, but they're actually just being lazy a lot. I just like my music that I make anyway and I am not a big follower of anyone in the first place.
