Started carnivore just about 6 weeks ago. Have been intermittent fasting OMAD for about 3 years, had reduced carbs (compared to normal diet) but still eating big salads. 6 weeks ago went to almost nothing but meat. Right away noticed less stiffness, fewer aches and pains, and now my psoriasis that has been a big problem for years is healing! Tonight I had delicious beef ribs, and a first for me, a rack of steaks dry brining in the fridge. Thank you, Tony!

Saw you on Lillie's channel and enjoyed your story and thoughts. This hit home as my wife has RA and is a nurse; so I want to find her a natural solution instead of meds that she has to continue ordering, picking up, and buying. The more I read/listen to Ken Barry, Shawn Baker and now you, the answer for me is carnivore. I started Carnivore 22 days ago and have felt great! You got SUB here sir. Keep spreading the good!
AMAZING INFO! I was suggested to read “The Stone Age Diet” by Dr. Walter Voegtlin back in 2001 after a gastric bypass. I was strongly encouraged to read this study, which started me on my carnivore journey. Except for a few months in 2020 with natural sweeteners like stevia, I have been 99% carnivore with coffee as my last hurdle to conquer. Not ready to give up my dessert which is half decaf/Reg coffee with a little bit of heavy cream.
You are doing a fantastic job, don't beat yourself up too much about the coffee. If/when you are ready to give it up, you will find new heights of improvement, but you're doing better than 99.999% of society out there, so well done
I love my cup of tea with milk in the morning and after my tea plus the odd coffee with full fat cream, that’s my pleasure since i gave up smoking 8 years ago. I hope this won’t spoil my intended carnivore diet. I am Ketovore at the moment apart from this 🙏
Great short video 👍 💯 agree I’m on carnivore diet and after 5 weeks I can see massive improvements. Ulcerative colitis symptoms 90 % gone … no meds … this is amazing
Same here. I am on week 8. Saw 70% improvement of my IBD-UC on Carnivore, (Meat (beef), eggs, pork, poultry, fish, cheese + other low lactose dairy.) Switched to BBBE (Beef, bacon, butter and eggs) and saw a 90% improvement. I would say 100% but I still need to use a mesalamine suppository every other day, or I get a minor flare up, so I would say 90% better.
Thanks for being a real doctor! I stopped seeing doctors over 12 years ago. Why? Because every single one pushed depression pills on me for my migraines and chronic weakness. I finally did a food sensitivities test on my own and found out I had severe sensitivity to gluten. Eliminating that from my diet healed my chronic sickness of six years. It took time to heal fully, but I did it. Migraines went away immediately though. The current medical system is corrupt by design, though I believe most doctors are brainwashed versus corrupt. The Lord opened my eyes to the truth and the truth sets you free…and heals you.

My wife and myself started our Keto journey in Aug 2021, we enjoyed the Floridian lifestyle a little much. I had a 37 inch waist, and classic pear shape. By December my waist was down to a 31 inch waist, and currently Feb 2022 my waist is 29 inches. I am 55 next month, ripped, can run a mile in under 8 min. Don’t let anyone tell you, you must eat every 2-3 hours to keep your metabolism going, intermittent fasting, quality meats and coniferous greens are the way to go. Find a doctor that understands a keto type diet. Many will look at your LDL and try and throw statins at you, research, learn and find a doctor that understands lipids. It’s currently 05:26 in southwest Fl. and keto coffee morning. Be healthy!
New to your channel after seeing you on Lilly Kane's channel, and a fan already. I'm a retired science teacher on keto, with Myasthenia Gravis. I've lost about 100 lbs. over the last couple of years, most of it more recently and thanks to keto and intermittent fasting. I'm looking more at experimenting with carnivore to see if my relatively mild symptoms (mild compared to others I've seen out there, except when my MG flairs up now and again) will diminish even more. Keep up the good stuff. You should gain viewers fast in the keto and carnivore world.
Thank you very much, I appreciate it! And that's great, I'm really glad that you've had such improvement on keto and IF. I definitely think you will improve even more, especially with your MG, by going Carnivore. It's the ultimate elimination diet, and you get absolutely everything your body doesn't want out of your system. Good luck with it!
How are you doing?! I have MG and have mild symptom mostly related to my eyes. I’m fasting and doing carnivore to reduce symptoms. I think this helps a lot. Not getting worse.
@@notnow7973 Keto w/ part time carnivore and OMAD almost eliminated my symptoms with the exception of mild eye symptoms. But no more meds. No more BP meds either.
stick with keto. Try intermittent fasting. Some 2- or 3-day fasts. Try strict carnivore for 30 days to see if it helps. Beef, butter, salt. MEAT. @@notnow7973
My doctor pointed out that he’s a doctor when I refused to follow his advice and reduce my meat consumption. This topic came up despite the fact that I had lost 20 kg. I only go there because I have to get my asthma medicine
Haha that's funny. Remind him that those running the tuskegee experiment were doctors too, and that previously doctor is recommended smoking and drinking, and that out information and understanding changes with time.
@Anthony Chaffee MD i developed a varicocele. Cause unknown...i also developed prostatitis like symptoms...only when i got a prostate exam the doc said not only is my urine numbers remarkable but my prostate was perfect for a 40 year old. I said well why did i get prostatitis at the exact same time as my varicocele. She said they arent related in any way. Wellwhen i did my research, not only did i find that they are related literally hundreds of ppl in forums complained about same thing and that doctors told them they are wrong. But i found a gov health publication that said varicocele can and will likely cause prostatitis like symptoms. Its so hard for me to listen to most doctors its like they don't know what the fuck they are talking about. Its frustrating
Remember that almost all medical degrees contain absolutely no study on nutrition whatsoever. Doctors (in general) are the last people you want dietary advice from.
Dr. Chaffee, we love your work. My wife and I have been carnivore for around 7 months, long time keto before that. My wife has osteoarthritis that is eased at times by keto and carnivore initially however I think perhaps she may have Cushing's disease due to an obvious shoulder hump amongst other symptoms. High cortisol appears to be at the core of this, can we rule out the impact of diet on cortisol somehow? It would be pointless trying to reduce environmental/emotional impacts on cortisol if the diet is triggering high cortisol levels on it's own.
I'm a middle aged female with uncontrolled Crohn's Disease. At the start of the year I started another flare and was looking at having to take yet more steroids and my doctor pushing me to go onto Skyrizi. Instead I went on a ketovore diet as a desperate last ditch attempt to avoid all that. I've been on it for 15 weeks now and my symptoms are 90% gone. It's actually incredible. I'm going back to my doctor in 6 months for a colonoscopy to see if it is different. Like many other people in the comments i was told repeatedly by my doctor that diet had no effect whatsoever on Crohn's except when I had a flare and it was OK to fast to give my colon "a rest".
If I were you I would think hard about going back for a colonoscopy anytime soon! I’m happy to read about your progress BUT you can have “healing crises” at certain times along the way. I would give it more time before deciding to have a colonoscopy- those come with some risks! At least wait longer, so you can secure a longer track record of alleviation of symptoms… and build up confidence when you come face to face with your doctor and his narrow views!
New sub. Been carnivore 3 years but not 100%. Issues benadryl now I quit everything but beef lamb goat and salt. Sometimes is do chicken wings. I do sub potassium citrate because some reason my body is always low and hate going to ER. So I do 2 to 3 gm day. I'm felame 52 I did lose 40 pounds working on last 8 and now I'm gaining but losing. I lift weights 5 days an week different body parts. Just like you said quiting the 5% makes all the difference. Only been 1 month but doing so much better and no benadryl so far. Thanks for the videos. Shalom
100%. The steroids they had me on for my Crohn's sent me into anaphylaxis. I almost lost my job because my GI tried to get me pre-authorized for infliximab and insurance refused to pay. All plant stuff gone and I function normally.
this info makes me incredibly angry!! I just found keto/carnivore 3 years ago, my husband passed away at the age of 53 of complications from ulcerative colitis that he was diagnosed with in his early 20's. WHY WHY WHY don't the doctors IN THIS FIELD know this?? Are these doctors really in it for the money? I get the pharmaceuticals but the doctors? Or are they just not researching their own specialty field? His GI doctor literally told him NOTHING he eats would affect his UC. Makes me very angry and incredibly sad.
That is so terrible I'm so sorry to hear that. The other problem is that this is just the way this is taught in medicine these days and they don't talk about the startling effects that diet can have even, though the studies are out there. We just have to keep getting the word out, there are doctors and gastroenterologists like my friend Pran Yoganathan in Sydney who pushes for nutrition solutions long before pharmaceutical ones, so there is change happening. I'm sorry that it happened too late for your husband though
I hear you Lisa. I feel ABSOLUTE despair at times as I've discovered so much about the nutritional lies we've been taught over the years. I've struggled with weight my whole life but even more so lost my mom to cancer and I wish I had I known what I do now which could have helped her 🙈💔😢 It's very upsetting at times. But at least I'm learning about keto/carnivore and can sort myself out. Although it maddens me when you see and hear about people and their struggles that could be managed with nutrition but people continue to be served pharmaceutical products that worsen their situation. But thank you @Anthony Chaffee MD
You are right carni diet, can fix autoimmune diseases. But im on long term no-meat diet, low gluten, low chemicals, some fasting, tons of excercise, sun, tons of sugar, even 4bars of chocolate per day, but my skin is superclear, when people ask, which makeup i use, i answer i wash my face once a month with soap.
Truth is that eventually something is going to have to be done about these people. What other solution could there possibly be when they are conspiring to make the society sick?
Hi Dr, I'm really enjoying going through your material. Can you speak on t1dm? We are about the same age, I got dx about 4 years ago, now I have a pump. I am noticing that I have to dose insulin when I eat meat and zero carb. Another dr (a chiro) on RUclips mentioned that eating organ meats heal those particular organs due to your body attacking what you just ate, giving a break on your damaged organ. Also, that exposure of the organ meat DNA to your body induces your undifferentiated cells to differentiate into that particular organ cell. He got all his info from older medical textbooks before the FDA took over and hijacked medicine. Thanks
I hadn't heard of that, but would be interested in any studies he refers to. You will need to take a background dose of insulin on carnivore, but you shouldn't need any fast acting. Most people and patients I've spoken to in the subject do this. There are studies in mice showing that being in a carnivore metabolism can regrow the cells that make insulin in the pancreas in mice. They thought that either fasting or eating a fasting mimicking diet, which is basically a carnivore diet, for 4 days to 1 month and then eating carbs, and then fasting or carnivore again would stimulate this. That was their guess anyway. I'll do a video on it and type 2 though, that's a good idea
Doc’s advice and info is spot on, as usual. Also, if you haven’t heard of it, you should read The Diabetes Solution by Dr. Richard Bernstein. He also is a Type 1 diabetic. (In his eighties! Widowed and now has a girlfriend!) His backstory is amazing and his advice fits right in with the low-carb/carnivore community. I’ve spoken with him several times and he’s a solid dude. He wrote the book quite a few years ago, long before anyone in the diabetes community acknowledged that he was correct. Of course, they still generally don’t acknowledge him as correct, but our community recognizes the excellent research, personal experience, and wisdom that he offers. BTW, he’s pretty much the person responsible for bringing blood testing units to the market.
@@anthonychaffeemd I would be very interested in learning more about been type 2 for 22 years and been ketovore for over a year My last 2 a1cs have been 5.4 and 5.5....would love to heal myself from this awful diabetes
4th day on Carnivore (Meat,Salt,Salmon,Water nothing else). I don't have a choice so it's my last thing to do. Early in January I was vaccinated against Tetanus - 2 weeks after the vaccine shot my skin became itchy (33 years old, never had ANY skin issue not even pimples in puberty). It became very serious cause the skin was open and burning (wounds didnt heal up). Could't go to the gym anymore cause I had pain in my knee/elbow joints. I kinda became depressed after the fourth cortison cur (yes it helps for the moment but a few days off and it came back). Than I had Corona (unvaccinated against Corona, was a lil bit sick but overall totally fine) I wasn't hungry so I didnt ate for 3 days and my eczema nearly dissapeared (70% of it). I tested vegan -> didn't work. So I eliminated Gluten as well -> didnt work. Day 4 today on carnivore and my eczema finally stagnates and my skin is healing ! Well documented with pictures. Even the pain in my knee is gone. Next Monday I can finally hit the gym again. So is life changing for me, I was kinda depressed and hopeless for the last few months. I really hope this is working in the long run. Thanks for your content, greetings from Germany !
I HAVE A REALLY IMPORTANT QUESTION. I STARTED CARNIVORE DIET BECAUSE MY HASHIMOTO HYPOTHYROIDISM CAN YOU STILL USE VEGETABLES TO MAKE THE BEEF STEW JUST TO GIVE IT SOME FLAVOR? OR WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND USING WHEN COOKING MEAT?
I have an issue keeping optimal weight on. I usually over eat (force feed) junk food to keep a "normal" weight. I'm afraid of being underweight if I go on carnivore but it could still be worth it.
I really appreciate your comment and I think you are right. At the same time I find It funny because other people, mostly legal teams that sued pharmaceutical companies for decades used the same argument as you. They, in the contrary to you, said however that the reason for the rise in autoimmune diseases amongst Americans is the implementation of the seven routenly given vaccines (dtp, measles etc.) to children. Would be curious on your take of it!
The difference being there's a cause and effect relationship between food and these illnesses, and you can prove this by reversing the illness when you eliminate the food from their diet. So I hear what you're saying, but there's real evidence here, and I'm not trying to sue anyone
thank you so much, can you share if you eat liver and if so how much and if not how its not necessary. thank you and please keep with the vids and sharing your knowledge!!!
Thank you! I have eaten liver maybe 4 times in the past 20 years, 10 of which were carnivore. You can eat liver if you enjoy it, but you don't need it for proper nutrition. As to how much to eat, if you want to say all, think about how many hundreds of pounds of skeletal muscle and fat there are to every 1 pound of liver. It should be a rare occurrence, not a daily addition.
@@anthonychaffeemd thank you and wow lol. Just seeing some carnivore guys saying we need to for minerals and what not. But I never heard you or saw you eat it and no I don’t like it. You’ve make me so happy lol.
Hey Anthony, any data on carnivore's effects on seborrheic dermatitis? I want to try the diet but am concerned the excess fats/sebum will exacerbate the issue
Dr Chaffee there is a connection between pregnancy and prolong stress on body and autoimmune You mention Dr Paul Mason from Sydney where does this Dr consult patients, does he consult on diets? If you could reply please I am researching a cure for my complex conditions. And want a thorough physical and lifestyle examination on diet , medications and medical history with tailored advice to suit me. Fingers crossed. 😃😇
Johanna Le Henry one of your viewers confirmed it is Dr Paul Mason who consults in Sydney!! Alleluia!!! I was not sure if the name was correct or not from your podcast with Dr Shawn Baker and I really needed the info sooner than later. This is exactly who I was looking for I was so very grateful to her what beautiful lady I bet you.🙂
Yes of course! Any meat that you have access to, that taste good, makes you feel the best, and that you can afford. If you're eating things like chicken just focus on dark meat with the skin on as you really need the fat. Make sure you're getting enough fat. Some people need to supplement in natural butter as well to beef this up as needed
Hey Dr.Chaffee, could you do a video on why testosterone levels in the carnivore community seem to be quite low? Pretty counter intuitive. I’ve seen a few videos at this point about low test levels of people who are eating tons of meat (Dr.Shawn Baker for example). And even if their test levels are high, their SHBG is through the roof, limiting their free test. I’m a young man (mid 20’s) who’s regaining my health, and would love to go into the carnivore diet knowing it’s going to increase my test levels, instead of crashing them. Would love your take on this! Cheers.
I don't know which autoimmune issue you have, but whatever the trigger, your body can react to these things. Most autoimmune issues respond extremely well to elimination diets in general
I have Chron’s and I am thinking about trying carnivore, but I also do triathlons and am training for an Ironman, not sure how I could fuel during my races…
Once you've switched to carnivore or keto, your body will switch from glucose to ketones for fuel. In a marathon you'll often hear about the 'wall' around the 20 mile mark. That's the point when your muscles/liver run out of glycogen. On carnivore/keto this doesn't happen because you're running on fat for fuel.
Dr. Warburg was actually curing cancer in the 1920s by simply cutting the sugar/carbs. He showed how cancer feeds strictly on glucose/sugars/carbs and not on fats or proteins. (Warburg Effect). M. Anderson Cancer Centers utilizes a similar approach and has one of the highest treatment rates in America. Dr. Fred Hatfield, a former competitive power lifter, was diagnosed with stage 4 bone cancer with 3 months to live! He cured himself by cutting all carbohydrates from his diet and was cancer free in 6 months. You can see his 4 minute video on RUclips.
I've been on carnivore for 2 weeks and my gums are bleeding. Obviously this may be a sign of a vitamin c deficiency, but its controversial because I'm hearing you dont need vitamin c on a carnivore diet. I'm worried about this moving forward
You hit the ball out of the stadium with that one!!! You are timing your beginning perfectly Dr. Chaffee. I use the word Dr. very sparingly, as it is a sign of respect. Almost no physicians deserve respect. 99% of physicians deserve contempt and the gallows.
Hi. Is it true that the average height of 1800's was between 165 and 170cm? It is the mainstream story and there is data that confirms it... or is that data fake? And we know for a fact that meat makes us grow taller, therefore your claim that meat based diet is the antient way of eating got me really confused. In my rural area I've seen dozens of very low doors, which I guess confirms we used to grow shorter back in the day. I remember history classes where we were told that meat and fish was consumed mostly by the rich, and very very rarely by the workers and peasants who ate plant based. What is true and what isn't? I am so puzzled right now.
Meat was expensive, and poor people ate plants more. That's were calling fatty food "rich" comes from. But yes, Carnivore cultures were much taller, and full carnivore civilizations were on average 6'4, like Genghis Khan and the Mongol Hoard
Who can afford $65,000 every 6 weeks for Crohn's treatments? Your health is with it, and you'll save in the long run of your now much longer and healthier life
A doctor with balls! a rare breed indeed!

@@EyeOnVenture great. Anything to help the heavy lids? I feel like my eye lids are heavy. Such a strange feeling. But otherwise I feel great.
stick with keto. Try intermittent fasting. Some 2- or 3-day fasts. Try strict carnivore for 30 days to see if it helps. Beef, butter, salt. MEAT. @@notnow7973
On Day of carnivore, really hope it cures my lifelong autoimmune disease!
Did it?
Did it work ????
I've only recently become aware of this. What an eye-opener!
@Anthony Chaffee MD lmfao thats funny and so true.

AMEN. KEEP POSTING DOC! 💖
Love it bro! Do you have any links or links to those books that I can find on those doctors?
Anthony, love your work! Im really curious about your stance on Caffeine, would you mind doing a video on that? :)
THANK You Dr Chaffee...! 😐👍 -70SomethingGuy
P.S. "More than a little suspicious..." Yes...! For me the term "EVIL" Comes to mind : (
I'm a middle aged female with uncontrolled Crohn's Disease.
Shalom
Thank you and God bless you🙏🏻❤️
Mind blowing! Thank you for this info share. Go well
Thank you for this.
Thank you!
Wow. So interesting. Thanks for sharing
Spot on!
100%. The steroids they had me on for my Crohn's sent me into anaphylaxis. I almost lost my job because my GI tried to get me pre-authorized for infliximab and insurance refused to pay. All plant stuff gone and I function normally.
Just Great.
this info makes me incredibly angry!!
I've struggled with weight my whole life but even more so lost my mom to cancer and I wish I had I known what I do now which could have helped her 🙈💔😢
It's very upsetting at times. But at least I'm learning about keto/carnivore and can sort myself out. Although it maddens me when you see and hear about people and their struggles that could be managed with nutrition but people continue to be served pharmaceutical products that worsen their situation. But thank you @Anthony Chaffee MD
😢🙏
Cause they don't want to know this their job isn't to protect only pill salesman
@@anthonychaffeemd I would be very interested in learning more about been type 2 for 22 years and been ketovore for over a year
My last 2 a1cs have been 5.4 and 5.5....would love to heal myself from this awful diabetes
Thanks for your content,
greetings from Germany !
Stone Age diet available free as PDF online. Ahead of his time
I have an issue keeping optimal weight on.
Carnivore diet fixed my psoriasis and PsA in 3 months!!! I feel better and off ALL medications 💊!!!
Help me, I have uncontrolled psoriasis 🙏🏻
thank you so much, can you share if you eat liver and if so how much and if not how its not necessary. thank you and please keep with the vids and sharing your knowledge!!!
Thank you very much again i am 1week on carnivore what do you think of scurvy gum disease and tooth decay thank you
It's not an issue if you exclusively eat meat. Think of the inuits, they live generationally like this and have no nutrient deficiency.
What is the treatment and origination of Graves disease?
Hey Anthony, any data on carnivore's effects on seborrheic dermatitis? I want to try the diet but am concerned the excess fats/sebum will exacerbate the issue
Dr Chaffee, do you have any info on Myasthenia Gravis?
Dr Chaffee there is a connection between pregnancy and prolong stress on body and autoimmune
You mention Dr Paul Mason from Sydney where does this Dr consult patients, does he consult on diets? If you could reply please I am researching a cure for my complex conditions. And want a thorough physical and lifestyle examination on diet , medications and medical history with tailored advice to suit me. Fingers crossed. 😃😇
Johanna Le Henry one of your viewers confirmed it is Dr Paul Mason who consults in Sydney!! Alleluia!!! I was not sure if the name was correct or not from your podcast with Dr Shawn Baker and I really needed the info sooner than later. This is exactly who I was looking for I was so very grateful to her what beautiful lady I bet you.🙂
Yep.. almost carnivore here. All ailments gone.
Nepal does not have beef. So, can I use Chicken instead ?
Yes of course! Any meat that you have access to, that taste good, makes you feel the best, and that you can afford. If you're eating things like chicken just focus on dark meat with the skin on as you really need the fat. Make sure you're getting enough fat. Some people need to supplement in natural butter as well to beef this up as needed
Love your message dude...what if I told you that you need to read broda barnes book...hypothyroidism the unsuspected illness would you read it??
Does it have to be just meat or can I have eggs too
What about Hashimoto’s, will the carnivore diet put Hashimoto’s into remission?
Hey Dr.Chaffee, could you do a video on why testosterone levels in the carnivore community seem to be quite low? Pretty counter intuitive. I’ve seen a few videos at this point about low test levels of people who are eating tons of meat (Dr.Shawn Baker for example). And even if their test levels are high, their SHBG is through the roof, limiting their free test. I’m a young man (mid 20’s) who’s regaining my health, and would love to go into the carnivore diet knowing it’s going to increase my test levels, instead of crashing them. Would love your take on this! Cheers.
he is on roids, lol. he no longer produce testosterone. i seen in his videos he has gynocomasty from roids use.
Lupus will be cured with carnivore?

So would my autoimmune condition not really been from infected tick bite?
I don't know which autoimmune issue you have, but whatever the trigger, your body can react to these things. Most autoimmune issues respond extremely well to elimination diets in general
But it you eat meat, I'd eat grass fed. Because corn fed US cows still have toxic glyphosate in their tissues, from gmo corn.
You can see his 4 minute video on RUclips.
can you recommend a large brisket knife
how about thos who know this in big pharma, do they do carnivore?
WHY ARE U SO HANDSOME 💀😭
I've been on carnivore for 2 weeks and my gums are bleeding. Obviously this may be a sign of a vitamin c deficiency, but its controversial because I'm hearing you dont need vitamin c on a carnivore diet. I'm worried about this moving forward

Can a person with eczema and psoriasis eat red meat?
Yes u can

So yes, wealthy people were taller, stronger, healthier, and lived longer
how about talking about your steroids use??
Plant based diets are the best. Fact.
You are in the wrong video.
YUP.
Hm. Could they also lie to us about this v^
Who can afford a 100% all-meat diet?
