I suffered with Rheumatoid Arthritis for years, along with Hashimoto’s and Celiac. Was Keto for 6 years because of the Celiac and over those years I ate less and less vegetables and carbs eventually going 100% carnivore. After probably 8 months of carnivore I was off all of my many meds for the RA and pain free for the first time in close to 15 years. All of my autoimmune issues are gone and I’m healthier than ever and close to my high school weight (I’m 62). My Endocrinologist used a meat and water diet for her IBS patients and my Rheumatologist was so impressed by my transformation he has done his research he is now using this to help his patients. I recently added carbs and sugar back in mostly due to stress (my mom had dementia, broke her hip and ultimately passed on Christmas Eve. Was her caretaker 24/7) and have now gone back to zero carb since I am getting some joint pain back and just don’t feel 100%. I am finding I can throw something in on occasion and be ok just not consistently eating carbs. I was zero carb for close to 3 years before my mom got I’ll. After a year of panic from my doctors that I would get colon cancer, or have a heart attack due to high cholesterol they are all on board and tell me I’m one of their healthiest patients. Thank you for all you do!!
Sorry bout your mom:(, mine died on the 23rd. so I feel for you. You are quite an inspiration, Ty for sharing! I’m going to save your comment for times when I need it (I have ms). Thanks again and take care:)
@@Nan-1017 Thank you for the kind words and I’m sorry about your mom ❤️ With her dementia it was hard to maintain this and I had Cocoa Puffs and that just led me down that path, but I’m back on track and feeling better. Carnivore completely cured my arthritis in weeks. I went from walking with a stick with a lava knee joint to today, run, cycle, punchbag, weights & resistance bands.

My benefits: -better vision -better focus -better memory -consistent energy -no more back pain -no more headaches -no more physical anxiety -more mental clarity -no more brain fog -better sleep quality -more patience -less anger, irritability, it's so drastic I feel like a Buddhist monk compared to how I would get mad all the time over the smallest things -no more depression and a insanely significant reduction in mood swings and their severity -skin/nail/hair health improved (amazing skin, no more acne) Diet: Beef Delmonico/Ribeye Steaks, Short-Rib, sometimes ground beef patties, Lamb Chops, Bone Broth, Tallow, Ghee, Salt, Liver, Egg Yolks (can't tolerate whites)

My ill health symptoms began in the 80s. The most significant were horrible body pain everywhere, nausea after eating, and migraine headaches. Doctors told me it was in my head. I felt so ashamed that I stopped seeking a medical solution thinking I must be the problem. Patient shaming when doctors don't care and want to prescribe medications is, in my opinion, criminal. My journey to improved health has been long and continues daily. However, today in my 70s I feel healthier, stronger, and happier than when I was in my 30s. I'm so glad to see a movement toward healing through better diets.
I'm so glad you found a solution. I am transitioning into a fully carnivore diet and I can tell the difference. Recently I've suffered with increased pain and stomach issues but plan to correct those with a carnivore plan. Thank you for sharing. Love and peace to you ❤

This is insane.... I had a shoulder injury and chronic muscular pain for more than 2 years. It was so bad that I couldn't carry any shopping bags, or even a hand bag on my left side etc. I went carnivore and on day 3 .... I wake up and the pain is gone. I was in so much shock, I could not believe it and went to the gym and did weights and today is day 4 there is still no pain.. this is incredible and I am in disbelief. This is life changing 🎉 thank you for pushing this way of eating.
I have 3 prolapsed discs in my lower back so for years my doctor misdiagnosed my RA. It wasn’t until 2020 during covid that my pain was so debilitating I couldn’t even walk or crawl to the bathroom and that’s when he thought he should order more tests. As well as RA I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and was borderline T2D. I embraced the conventional meds out of pure desperation but after doing the research on methotrexate and Celebrex I began looking for an alternative. I was 32 kg overweight and the irony is that I actually ate healthy, no junk or fast food but I did binge on the weekend even though it was all organic and whole. I even grew my own vegetables. I started a ketogenic diet in January 2021 and stuck to it religiously and it was ‘clean’ keto, balanced fat to protein ratio OMAD with less than 10 total carbs a day. It was actually very easy for me because I wasn’t a junk food eater. My markers improved so quickly and the fat melted so fast that no one, including myself, noticed it happen. I literally woke up one day and my work pants fell to the floor when I zipped them up. All my ‘fat’ clothes were hanging off me. Thankfully I had kept all my beautiful skinny clothes from 20 years ago which are still stylish 😂 My health has been better but my rheumatologist refuses to believe that RA can been eliminated so now I want to prove her wrong. I’m now of a full carnivore eating plan and after 2 weeks of solid research I am consuming approximately 70gm of beef or lamb protein and 140gm of fat (most of that from butter), drinking water with electrolytes and have reduced my (organic) long decaf espresso with cream to just one in the morning (with butter). I’m going to do this until my next blood tests which will be around July and that’s when I’m due to see my rheumatologist again. It’s weird but I like the feeling of taking control of my destiny. I’m 61yo and am, after 35 years, back to my original slim body and virtually pain free.
I started eating meat only in September and I have reduced daily migraines to zero. My neurologist also had almost given up. We tried everything. Change in diet has changed my life.
I had this exact same result. I tried carnivore for other reasons (ME/CFS) but after about 3 weeks I noticed that my daily headaches were completely gone. I had a snack one night of peanut butter on a tortilla and the next morning woke up with a migraine
This is why I love listening to videos like this. It just keeps me on track it keeps me towards my goal. My goal is to be less inflamed out of pain and living my 60s better than I did in my 50s
63 years old, 10 years Fibromyalgia, 5 months today, of Carnivore. Slowly lowering medication. Most all over body pain is lessened, joint pain in knees, ankles, etc. lessened, but still have a ton of inflammation and pain in my shoulders, down my arms and very painful stiff hands, more than ever before. Have a bad disc in back and still pain in my pelvis, a lifelong issue. I am in for the long haul with carnivore cuz my brain fog is lessened and my energy and stamina is increasing. Exercise still gives me more pain but I am still hopeful that another 6-7 months will prove to be a healing. It is exhausting and debilitating to have constant pain.

@@anthonychaffeemdyou clearly have zero understanding on what fibromyalgia. It’s not just pain, why are those who have fibromyalgia in pain it’s due to antibodies sticking to muscle fibres and nerve endings which then the immune system attacks those spots. It’s also a mitochondria issue. You really shouldn’t be talking about subjects you do not know anything about, it gives people false hope. Fibromyalgia has no cure.

Dr. Chaffee my name is Blake, I have tons of questions about the Carnivore way of life. I'm new to posting comments on RUclips. Could I possibly send an email to you directly?
I was wondering if you have any info on the carnivore diet and CRPS. I really want to try this but I already have vitamin B12, Iron, Folic Acic, and D deficiencies. My doctor says that vegetables give me these vitamins and nutrients my body needs?
@@patriciacollum5153 Actually, red meat gives you far more of these nutrients, and it's more bioavailable. (And the best vitamin D is from the sun, without sunscreen, and fatty fish.) You only absorb a small amount of nutrients from plant food. Your doctor's info is outdated. If you doubt this, look up the absorption of some specific vegetables, like spinach and a few more, and look up the bioavailability from red meat. Then test your doctor's knowledge to see if he knows this. I'll bet he can't even come close. 😉 You might ask him how many classes (or even hours, lol!) of nutrition he had in medical school. The answer will surprise you. (It's usually one class or less.)
Watch out for artificial sweeteners!!! Since I eliminated ALL sweeteners, my massive pain all over my body has almost gone away!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏 I did process of elimination in my diet over a year, and I seriously believe the joint pain, fatigue, brain fog, and body aches was caused by the sweeteners. My Stevia from the Walmart brand was cut with Maltitol!!! Maltitol is worse than real sugar. My electrolyte powders that I mix in my water have Aspartame. There were many others mixed in my Monk Fruit, Erythritol, Allulose, etc. Please read all labels so you don't suffer like I have been. I am healing fast and feel so much better that I can walk again! Yay!
Thanks for your post. Very encouraging! I gotta get off the erithrytol. It used to have 0.5% Stevia in it and then they sneakily lowered Stevia to only 0.18%. Is that like blowing Stevia-dust on top of the industrially made erithrytol? The only change they did to the container was make the word "Stevia" about 5 times bigger. Luckily I read the back and noticed.
I didn't know it was cut with that!!! I've been purchasing Stevia Walmart's brand for a number of years and using it generously. PUTTING IT IN THE TRASH NOW! Not another day using it! I hope my fatigue and brain fog goes away, too. Thank you for your testimony, God bless.
Read the back of your package to make sure of the Maltitol ingredient before you throw it away. I wouldn't want you to waste money and toss yours if yours is different than mine. Many Blessings to you and yours. Jesus Loves You!🙏🙏🙏📖📖📖💒💒💒💕💕💕🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

I am a fibromyalgia sufferer and just started Keto about a month ago, working towards going straight carnivore. I appreciate Dr. Chaffee’s empathy towards the plight of fibromyalgia sufferers. Conversely, the lack of knowledge of fibromyalgia displayed by the interviewer was eye-roll worthy as it would be part of any discussion on chronic pain, fatigue, inflammation. Anyway, it would be nice if I could eventually get off this high dose of pregabalin that I’m physically dependent on.
I too have fibromyalgia. In fact I am in the 8% of a rare kind where I have a stabbing pain resonate in a second area of my body when touch another. I started keto for three years. It helped everything and gave me some fibromyalgia relief. But when I started carnivore last October I had huge relief. I went back to keto and started having pain and brain fog again. So in December I went back to carnivore and stayed there. I feel so much better. I have only had two flair ups since then. Both were after eating seed oils at restaurants. ( they sneak it in). How does a carnivore diet help with Osteoarthritis? This type of arthritis is permanent wear and tear damage to joints. I'm thinking once the damage is done, how can the pain be reduced with any diet. Regards.
I wish I'd known what I know now to help save my mom who's presently in a care home with dementia, arthritis and several other inflammation related ailments, in a wheelchair, immobile in her early 70s. Loved her breads, pastas, sweets, ate all organic, worked out, preached everything natural but was a carb addict hence the results.
Sorry for that Dean, I can relate although my mom is still in a place where she can make the change, but she doesn't want to do it, unfortunately can't always fix em, and you know that desire to fix the people around you is not always healthy. Most of the journey to health is made within, and can't be forced.
This is a long shot, but can you tell them you'd like your mom on a strict carnivore diet (red meat, water and salt only)? Try it for 3-6 months. But if they give her anything else during the day, even a cup of juice, that'll sabotage it.
I can relate to your mom. You can't fault her. I studied nutrition and herbalism and we were taught that "healthy" grains, seeds, legumes, and other carbs, were essential to a healthy diet. Even sugar was acceptable as long as it was raw, evaporated cane juice, honey, agave, and on and on. We've been purposely lied to. And the lie continues. If you can take her home and feed her meat (only ruminants according to the Peterson's and Ken Berry) along with water and salt. No cheating. You might actually get your mom back. ❤
I have had a lot of relief from RA. Thanks Doc for doing what you do. We need more doctors educated on the carnivore way of eating and get past the cholesterol bs.

Fibromyalgia just means joint and muscle pain. As you said, it’s a title you get when they don’t know why you’re in pain. I have a diagnosis of fibro, RA, chronic fatigue syndrome and celiac disease. My Vit D level was also 6. Low Vit D can also cause pain. I also had chronic headaches with weekly migraines. I went gluten free in 2011 and noticed that if I cheated I hurt bad and felt awful. I’ve researched and worked hard on healing my gut. I started keto a couple yrs and have learned what foods make me hurt and feel awful. Rice, soy, beans, corn, onions, peppers, pretty much all vegetables and all dairy make me hurt. Also there’s an ingredient called Carrageenan in a lot of dairy, lunch meats, rotisserie chicken and whole Turkey, that causes pain, it’s widely known in the RA community. Makes me hurt bad! Changing my diet and taking supplements has given me me a better life. I’m not cured but I feel better, I didn’t have a life at all before. Imagine your wrist bodyaches when you had the flu. That’s how people with fibro & RA feel 24/7. A flu that never goes away. The ingredient MSG can cause migraines. It’s in a lot of Asian food. Certain lights can trigger a migraine for my kids and I.
I'm in that category. I have a fibro diagnoses. I never took any of the meds offered for it after I was finally diagnosed and it was clear the rheumatologist who diagnosed me was relieved and also happy that I was working on lifestyle factors and kind of hardcore about that. With my problems that I think are probably fibro-related the thing I am the most scared of for the future is what I've heard called exercise intolerance. I am a person who isn't scared of much, not heights, not snakes or spiders, not water or closed in spaces. I am not afraid of death. And as it turns out I hate fear. A. Lot. But I am afraid of the backlash and flare ups and future further weakness I've always gotten after exerting myself. I *THINK* that my recovery after movement is improving some with carnivore. Wow. I would love it so much to be able to just do what I want to do including hard things, things that require strength, adrenaline driven things... I would love, love, love that. Today is day 77. Maybe in the future I can go back to weight lifting and hiking and even climb Stone Mountain again without ending up like an invalid for a week or a month or a year as has been my lifelong history. Oh and mowing the grass. Not that I love to mow the grass. I hate it. I'd far rather shovel out three feet of snow any day compared to having to mow. But at least if for once in my life it wouldn't make me so sick if i had to do it!
You might just need to let your adrenals heal. It takes a long time, and exercises like yoga, swimming, and walking might do you more good right now than hard core workouts that make you tired.
I had to comment. I’ve been so frustrated that I couldn’t mow the grass and do any gardening but after sticking to carnivore I did half the lawn a few days ago with no negative payoff. (A big deal for me) I plan to do the other half tomorrow.
@sherilcarey7100 I am with you on the exercise intolerance. I've made myself ill so many times which takes about 5 days to recover from, that I've stopped trying... and I used to love swimming and running! My dream is to do these things again. Maybe this diet will help. I've started doing Dr Perry Nichelston's lymphatic drainage exercises too which have helped me with stiffness. Some of us have sluggish lymphatic system which causes swelling and pain.
My PC gave me trigger point shots for 2 years. 1 time a week until I just said No More. Didn't really help because I bruised so bad after getting 25 shots through out my body. I suffered either way. I was on perks. Then on methadone. Never once did anyone of 5 Dr's tell me to change my diet.! I an ketovore now 3 months and take none of those poisoning drugs. I am doing better. I still have lower back issues. I can live with it alot better though. And don't see any of those Dr's anymore.!! I heard the bell ring and my husband which has type 2 diabetes is on his 2nd month of ketovore. Thank you and dr berg, Dr Ken Berry for sharing and caring. God bless all.
Doctors don't earn money by telling a patient to eat healthy. They made a bunch of $$$ on all those repeat shots though. I'd be looking for a new doctor. 😢 Glad to hear you're doing better, fibromyalgia is quite debilitating.

Hi dr Chaffe ❤ hi from Brisbane. I’m 57 in a few weeks and had “Fibromyalgia’ for 30 years, on top of Scoliosis and worsening degenerative discs. I’ve just started following you and everyone from low carb down under. Been keto for 2 months and now Carnivore for 2 weeks. Finally cutting dairy out as was only carbs I have. Making my own gee instead of butter 😢 ex dairy farmer and miss my dairy. My mental clarity has improved 100% on keto but pain has pushed me to try full carnivore. My legs drive me crazy at night and i try not to take painkillers, give in often, plus use lots of Emulgel. Have had injections to back and sacrum, and turned down antidepressants prescribed by Rheumatologist and pain specialist. The side-effects I have experienced in the past from them makes it not worth it for me as they didn’t really help the pain and just gave me a heap of other symptoms to go along with it. I stopped antacids once on carnivore and haven’t looked back. I only get symptoms when I fall off the wagon, which I’m proud to say is not often. I have not been able to stay off coffee ☕️ my major vice. My dairy is minimal. I was finally able to return to work in June this year after not being reliable enough for over 3 years. I now work nearly full time and turning down work. I still suffer from vertigo episodes out of the blue but my migraines are fewer and further apart. I am also able to keep up with household chores which I struggled with. Love your work Anthony 💕🥰
In my 50s, my feet would ache so much I gave up golf. Went low-carb, 40 months ago. Since, my feet ache only the first few steps in the morn.... Now, 5+ mile walks are pain free.
I suffer with fibromyalgia, had hip surgeries, in complete agony all day, every day. Had to stop my medication due to having a baby, and breastfeeding so I’ve just been suffering. Definitely want to try this, I will be so grateful if there’s a natural/safe way to cure this pain👌🏼
I'm not sure about carnivore not reversing damage. Maybe my arthritis isn't at a critical point, but as long as I stay carnivore/ketovore with little to no sugar, I haven't had any issues with my knees or hands. It might be anecdotal but I'll stay in both just for that alone 😊🥳🥰
I turned 55 this year and have been experiencing much more joint pain and just weird aches and pains in different areas that I couldn't really explain. I started on the carnivore path, removing all the bad stuff from my diet. My aches and pains really went away, although I'm not sure I was conscientiously aware of that until I cheated and had a couple of mixed drinks one weekend. Several of my nagging pains returned and it was like a light switch went off as to where it was coming from. Sadly I was used to having a relaxing drink (or two) every night, but that was part of the problem. Thanks to carnivore I'm feeling so much better. I've noticed that the more strict I am the better I feel. And when I reintroduce other food that I used to eat I can quickly feel a difference for the bad. I didn't realize how much food can effect the way you feel. Now how to conceive others of this. Lol. Thank you to all of you who are trying so hard to spread the word!!!
any luck "convincing others" yet? My approach is to only talk about my activites and experiences in life during a normal conversation with friends... the casual answers to "how are you? what have you been up to?" Sometimes one will say "I wish I had half your energy" or "I could never do that because of my (pain/condition/illness". I kindly deflect with "hardly anybody wants to do what I do to be this well". IF they pursue it farther, I'd briefly mention carbs are poison and make a light offer to help if they want to explore it at another time. In other words, understand that un-asked-for advice is rarely received.
Topic of migraines. I experience migraines when the air quality isn’t great. Fragrances really can set them off for me. I also do better in my own home with a new air filter change monthly and once a year right before the season change into using the a/c I have my ducts cleaned out professionally. Makes a big difference for me.
Good to see information like this. Have been carnivore for around a month and even though I am seeing benefits with weight loss, dry skin patches, eyesight, sleep and oral health I am dealing with a number of arthritis-like pains in wrists, and hands and occasionally shoulder. Anyone else dealing/dealt with this? Trying to research feels like going down a rabbit hole as one camp claims red meat increases arthritis risk while another claims major benefits.
Did your pain resolve after being carnivore for a while? My husband is trying the woe but is still having a lot of wrist and hand pain. He was in a lot of pain and finally agreed to try carnivore diet.
I ate heavy oxalate foods for many years so I had to slow down the carnivore eating and do more ketovore. Some days I did carnivore only. I’m almost 2 years in and I’ve gotten rid of hip, back and shoulder pain. Also psoriasis and allergy symptoms. I have arthritis in my hands and if I slip up I’ll feel it right away. I’m 73 and I feel better than ever. I lived with pain and headaches all my life before. I hope this helps. The first 3 months was the worst for me. It’s best to educate yourself and maybe start slower.
Interesting that you mention chinese food, I always feel unwell after eating it. It’s the cheap seed oils they use. I now make my own using olive oil., to my surprise it tastes pretty good. I only buy the best quality olive oils and never use margarine, only butter. I loved this video, thank you both.
I’m also a fibromyalgia sufferer, I’ve just come out of a flare up, but suffer pain every day. I’m now on veggie juice, meat and vegetables only, I’ve cut out grains and sugar. However I’m seriously thinking carnivore.
I have several chronic conditions including scalp psoriasis, endometriosis, chronic back pain and chronic neck and shoulder pain. The first three I have just kind of learnt to live with but I have really struggled with the neck and shoulder pain. My sister recently went on the carnivore diet purely for weight loss reasons and has lost a lot of weight and she recommended I watch this video because maybe it could also help my health problems (admittedly I also have a lot of weight to lose) For my chronic neck pain I tried a chiropractor for a while until she said she couldn't do anymore, then I went to an orthopedic surgeon who told me it wasn't an orthopedic problem and therefore nothing for him to operate on and he recommended a physiotherapist who I have also been seeing for a while but he basically told me 'so long as I was managing the pain', I don't really call being on codeine for over a year managing the pain and I now feel like I have started to experience side effects from having it for too long. I am definitely going to look into the carnivore diet some more and start soon.
Thank you - have autoimmune issues (thyroid) both graves and hositmoto diagnosed and osteo arthritis - have been carivore for 6 weeks - also have allergies - need to do away with allergy shots 💜🙏🏻💜 - so glad 😊 found you! In 100%
I'm here in New Mexico and my friend was looking at knee replacement but I told her to try the stem cell because she has the money to pay for it out of pocket. (I worked at a physical therapy rehab and find that knee replacements are a brutal recovery) My friend had it done in Albuquerque and that was 2 years ago and she's doing very well! I know about it because in my hometown at Colorado State University Veterinary Hospital they use stem cells for race horses and now dogs and have very good results. I've been carnivore since the new year and one thing I didn't want to quit was coffee, but I did, switching from caffeinated to decaffeinated and then completely cutting it out and then reintroducing it. I didn't seem to have any problems with it so now I'm drinking one cup of caffeinated in the morning with cream however I noticed this week my knees are achey so it's the cream or the caffeine because my knees didn't bother me when I was drinking decaf😒
@@invisibleman7971 Not necessarily, i am quite dairy sensitive and have knee and and ankle issues too but a dash of cream doesnt do anything - coffee however does some strange things… i gave it up. Happier now, coffee is just another drug.
30 years of fibromyalgia. Along with IBS, arthritis, skin problems, more than 10 years for anyone to even say fibromyalgia to me. I was accused of lying, etc. just treated horribly by doctors. Also other health issues. And developed degenerate disc disorder, fatty liver, prediabetic, extreme high blood pressure. All have gotten so much better since being keto and now mostly carnivore. And amazingly off all medications. Wish I had known this 30 years ago.
I make milk kefir, water kefir,ACV,sauerkraut and Bulgarian yogurt and my diet is 80% meat, cheese and eggs, i also add these things i make and my knee pain that Dr said I’ll need a replacement for is improved and i have hardly any pain or stiffness now. If i cheat omg i know about it.I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge, thanks a million 🌟👍🏻👏💙🇬🇧
I had such severe pain in my hip last summer I could hardly walk. We were going to go to Las Vegas in September and I told my husband that I am so worried because I cannot walk like this. I really got strict about eating healthier and by the time we went my hip was doing better plus it’s very dry down there. Not that Washington state is humid but it just was a lot drier down there. I felt great then holidays came and I ate horribly then in January we went to Arizona for two weeks I ate horribly then and end of February we went to Vegas I ate horribly and my hip started getting worse and worse and worse. I started keto when we got back I did carnivore for April and now in mid May my hip is doing so much better. It’s worth it just for that. Your hips hold so much of your weight and have so much to do with your movement that it’s just not worth having the pain if you can do something as simple as change your diet
Carnivore has absolutely lessened the muscle contractions I had from an electrical shock injury. The shock shortened the muscles on one side of my upper torso. Hopefully Carnivore and stretching can reverse this because the contracted muscles cause breathing issues around the torso.
What I don't miss is the old injuries like the doctor says. Broken heel broken toes ripped Achilles. Broken leg Broken fingers Broken ribs and ripped up shoulders plus years of working on my knees in attics and crawl spaces. I use to be so sore every morning but it's gone. Just my hooves now and they are not as bad. And hemroids disappeared quick. It's dumb that doctors didn't figure this out 1000 years ago.
@@timgoodwintv I noticed about three months in I was getting better. I mean it started letting me know I was never going back to my old way. I'm pushing sixty now and been doing it for 4 years and can say I have not felt this good since my early 20s. The last thing to go away was getting up to pee at night. I've never been happier.
Great info from dr chaffee as usual! I have AS and he red meat diet and following dr chaffee and a few others, bioneer one for excerise. My pain and mental attitude are getting better everyday. It works, i went from remicaid since its inception to canada, 15 yrs? Now i take naproxen when needed and i am now having days without meds at all. My sleep is getting better, finally got some real rem sleep this last couple days. Been along time, awakened every 1 1/2 hours spasming. Almost went for cortisone last week but it finally relieved on its own.. I walk alot and do the spine exercises daily. Meat works. Thank you Dr chaffee, i am on a journey and hope more people understand how this all works! Sugar kills. Carbs are sugar.
I’m certainly a lot better at nearer 70 than in my 50’s, i used to scream going up or down stairs as i was in agony.I don’t like medications 💊 Another method that helped i saw on a video ‘El Paso Manuel Physical Therapy’ is to tighten your glutes when using the stairs this helped loads too 🤬
Odd question can eating this way of eating restore hearing? I ask because I’m 90 days into carnivore and had my annual hearing test yesterday. The person running the hearing exams said he had to run the test twice because he couldn’t believe the results of my test. I had a major improvement compared to my baseline taking in 2006 when I first entered the military. Since 2009 IED TBI my hearing has steadily decreased every year till now. Now with these test results it’s got me wondering what is going on.
It's so relaxing listening to you and your interviews because you just talk normally instead of cramming in as many words as you can. I've stopped listening to anyone who is more interested in quantity over quality, so thank you for this. BTW, I'm doing so much better eating carnivore, which I have now been doing for several days. At first I was also eating sprouts which I've cut out because it's been too hot to germinate any seeds and what a great difference. Once it cools down I'll be strictly growing them for my animals. They do great eating them and it makes for very healthy eggs. I've also cut out fruits and potatoes
I had stem cell therapy on my on my left knee about 13 years ago , in a trial conducted by Sydney Uni and the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. It was a total success ; stem cells taken from my abdominal fat and injected into my knee with nothing but a saline solution. The doctor who ran the trial said Johnson and Johnson was keeping the therapy from becoming publicly available, but also said it was available in Thailand at the American Hospital .
There's reports of treating fibromyalgia with hyperbaric oxygen therapy, where unresolved/unremembered psychological trauma surfaced and greatly reduced the symptoms once dealt with.
That's interesting, I haven't come across that yet. Diet makes a massive difference though, completely gets rid of the body's inflammation and excess pain. Absolute game changer
The istaelis are doing research with hyperbaric oxygen and fibromyalgia chronic fatigue and long covid. Their theory is the neurological pathways are wounded and the oxygen heals the wound. I’m way over simplifying. Plus it is very inflammatory. But I think the carnivore will persist with cellular cleanup more than hyperbaric oxygen.
I have a friend with fibromalgia whom used to be bed bound in pain but now on carnivore he is thriving in the gym, at work and as a DJ. He does ice baths and the Wim Hoff breathing for inflammation management also.
I also used to have frequent migraines and almost daily headaches. Strict Carnivore completely eliminated all migraines and headaches for me. I think migraines are cerebral dehydration. Even before Carnivore, I could greatly reduce migraine severity by drinking 64oz of Gatorade or Gatorade Zero.
Wow, interesting, I also had chronic headaches for a long time every day until reducing carbs, I'm slowly transitioning to carnivore and improving, I notice that if I eat any strong carb even the "clean" kind I get a headache... Ate some dates this morning because I had nothing else to eat, immediately throbbing headache within minutes. Do you notice the same if you ever eat anything non carnivore? I'm only 25 btw, my headaches were very atypical and severe, started after covid.

I've been living with Fibromyalgia since 2007, and have tried many things under the sun with varying degrees of success. Which is why I'm trying Carnivore. However, respectfully, Fibromyalgia can't be limited to being understood as a pain disorder. It's a central nervous system (not autoimmune as many others online have misunderstood it); which is why we have so many hard to connect symptoms, leading to a diagnosis of elimination. This is also why it's hard to explain or describe Fibromyalgia by one thing like pain. There has been a proven diagnostic tool by identifying specific gut bacteria. So clearly gut micro biom is a leading factor. What is not known by consensus is causal factors and response factors. Did the gut cause or is it a result of....for example. Energy deficiency on the cellular level is a better description....much of the pain (there are two over arching types of pain with Fibromyalgia: peripheral neuropathy (an over stimulation) and inflammatory pain which can be further grouped as muscular, joint, randomised and moving pains and of course the diagnostic 18 points of pain.) I'm not sure about peripheral neuropathy but definitely the muscular including the randomly moving pains are a result of mitochondrial dysfunctional which explains our a lack of energy, among others. Why muscular pain? The highest concentration of mitochondrial function producing energy is in muscles and the brain, cause pain in muscles and the Fibro-Fog (take regular brain fog and multiply). I am not sure what your conditions are for determination if we know something or not. But there is a consensus between all the countries I have lived in, that adrenal fatigue (living too long in a constant state of fight or flight) from chronic stress and trauma leads to Fibromyalgia, particularly the deteriorating mitochondria and the peripheral neuropathy...and genes - genes determine a person's weakest point. Our weakest point will determine the disease we will develop when our bodies are under too much strain for too long. This explains why some people get Fibromyalgia and why some people develop other diseases instead.
You have Floraquinalone toxicity. I have the same thing and doctors just call it fibromyalgia. If you’ve ever taken a floraquinalone antibiotic, you have been severely poisoned.
@@AndreaSanchez-zw7ty interesting. i tested to see if the vaccines were making me sick (somehow there are treatment modals in european clinics that can test for this, i don't really understand it) but i don't think we tested for antibiotics! Dr. Norton's explaination of oxilates toxicity is the best explaination i have come across for fibromyalgia - coupled with the effects of prolonged stress.
@@simardeepkgahunia8337 I"m still exploring that, i've tried everything! now i'm trying the carnivore diet, but its early days. I believe everyone else who has said they have improved the quality of their lives through eating this way!!!!
I am in remission from CRPS but looking for the next step to get rid of the pain and discomfort that I'm still experiencing. I've been on carnivore for 5 days now, and last night I was able to lay on my back in bed while my feet where pointed toward the ceiling with the sheet and blanket on top my feet. I was so giddy last night it was hard to sleep. I had been on an organic diet that would be good for a perfectly healthy person who exercised a lot. I had gluten one meal a week, and it was usually a "healthy" cheat meal. I made huge smoothies in my vita mix every morning with Blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, bananas, avocado, and plant protein. Lunch was top-shelf deli meat and cheese with hummus and pickles. Dinner was usually a Chicken Divan with basmati rice, broccoli, carrots, shallots, chicken, and cheese. With all that in my diet, I could never get back to full remission like I had achieved a while back. I had to come to the realization I'm not that guy as much as I want to be. I will continue to do my research on this subject and how our gut plays a pivotal role in our biological responses. I plan to stay carnivore the rest of my life, if I see the results I'm looking for. I would like a Cheeseburger, Pizza, and Ice Cream again in the future, hopefully!
Ive had TERRIBLE Fibromyalgia for over 30 years, with no successful medical help whatsoever. Just was prescribed Cymbalta, and getting horrible side effects. Cannot go on with that, i guess I have to give full on Carnivore my attention! I have dabbled in it. But being the cook for others they all demand carbs. I cut out all sugars 3 years ago, very low carbs, and a few veg, but think it’s time to be way more strict. I am at my wits end so nothing to lose. Thanks Dr Chaffee.
15:30 Wish more people thought like this. My wife was just taken off her pain medication due to no fault of her own. She was diagnosed with several autoimmune disorders and has been on her medications for more that 20 years. There was never a claim that she was "faking" because it only take one look at her to see even with the medication she is in constant agony. No claims of diversion and has never had an issue with her monthly drug tests but the DEA decided to "talk" to her doctor and now the entire office has implemented a policy of no pain prescriptions for any reason. She has only a couple weeks to find a new doctor and as any of the hundreds of thousands of people who has been in a similar situation that is next to impossible, especially when the person is taking "high doses". Even with what she is currently prescribed she can barely get out of bed to use the bathroom and we have already been told even if she is lucky enough to find a doctor who will prescribe she should be prepared to have her prescription cut by 50% or more. She had tried other diets with little to no success but now that we have heard of this she is going to give it a try. Unfortunately for her I doubt she will see significant improvement quickly enough and will almost certainly end up in the hospital whre she will promptly be kicked out because, like we have been told inc the past "they don't treat pain". I just pray she doesn't end up having a heart attack/ stroke (not an exaggeration) from the combination of immense pain from losing her only source of pain relief and the issue that arise from being taken off those medications when you have been on a consistant high dose for 2 decades +.
Give her turmeric 1 x tsp Tsp size ginger Apple 1 x celery stick 1/4tsp black pepper 2 strawberries pinch of salt 1 1/2 cup water ... Liquidize drink every morning She must eat gluten free no breafs cakes biscuits cereals unless gluten free No sugar at al
never heard of that but the first doctor that diagnosed me with Fibro said my condition was brought on my constant tension & stress. He said I was in constant fight or flight so high cortisol production which resulted in extremely high anxiety , panic attacks, High BP. The result of working dispatch at a police agency at the time, not by choice, for a year due to employee cutbacks. Unfortunately retired early which helped somewhat. that syndrome sounds like what I suffered with originally. Finally went on Keto, hormone replacement including Testosterone withing 3 months all fibro symptoms resolved unfortunately couldn't afford BHRT past 6 months, insurance didn't cover it so continued Keto and over the counter substitutes. lasted 3 yrs until I went back to eating SAD after a loved on passed. Tried Keto again several times but never got the same results. Now Carnivore and slowly helping but it's 1 step forward 2 backwards if I deviate. 1 month in strict. I am committed to it and know it works but it takes time for some of us. Don't give up, we are all hurting but it will work! Thanks to Dr Chaffee and many other special people spreading the word. Bless you All!
I reduced carbs in my diet by 50 percent I have grown up on them. It is hard to find substitutes, I struggle to get rid of another 30 percent of them. When I eat them I feel so tired and sluggish, it literally makes me feel sickly for a few hours. I am sure in contributes to my pain levels. I live with chronic pain and fatigue.
The knee pain that is caused by cartilage debris in the knee joint, I had that about 10 years ago and that was extremely painful to walk. I had an operation to clean that out luckily.
I'm 65 and was on carnivore but fell off, back on now but arthritis is horrible. I eat chuck steak, eggs, pastured butter. I little cheese. Same diet from before when it worked. Sorry to complain. I'm just lost on why carnivore isn't working now. I mean to say it's the arthritis that it's not working on now but it is working on other things. Thank you
Oh how I wish I had heard this years ago BEFORE multiple back surgeries and other autoimmune issues. I’m attacking this with carnivore after Christmas.
I was all excited this would help my Fibromyalgia but then 2 weeks in I started getting neuropathy symptoms and looked up that it might be too much uric acid. I ate a few carbs and it went away. What do you do for that?
Sorry to hear that. Some people can also have issues with oxalate dumping. Take a look at Sally Norton's work for more on that. I've interviewed her on my channel as well. Urea will go up on carnivore from the increase in protein, but that's actually good for you as it is one of our strongest antioxidants. I would still try to do it, but you may need to ease into it rather than going cold turkey. So focus on fatty meat, and have a little bit of low oxalate foods, ie less than 100mg per day total, and see how you go. If you need some carbs, fine, but try to reduce them and finally eliminate them because they disrupt a lot of key processes in your body, like ketone production, and higher ketones reduce inflammation and thereby pain from fibromyalgia
I. was healthy. My husband and I went carnivore 4 weeks ago. Lost weight and felt great at first. Then severe inflammation and fatigue set in. I had been on keto, so it's not fat adaptation. I discovered it was oxalate dumping. You should address that.
Hi, I would like to have a support team to guide me in my healing journey! Been on carnivore for three months and still going strong. This video really answered a lot of questions I have had building up. Had a hip replaced Dec 2020. Might need another but hoping not. Some arthritis in hands as well. My hormones are out of whack due to a full hysterectomy at age 25 in 1979, from pelvic inflammatory disease from an i.u.d. I took h.r.t. until 2000 went through menopause I guess in my forties. I had developed a lack of trust in the medical system. So I have winged it on my own now for 22 years. I am now learning that low estrogen can cause insulin problems and it scared me into doing the carnivore diet. I know I have dodged a huge bullet. Am going to start checking glucose as soon as I get a tool to use at home. The tinnitus is nonstop and I was told it was from insulin problems. Wondering if it will ever stop. Willing to eat this way the rest of my life. Thank you for helping me.
When I was in my late teens early 20s I used to get migraine headaches. I discovered, by accident long story, that caffeine made the migraines go away. And if I had a cup of coffee when I felt the onset of a migraine I never got the migraine. I've had a cup of coffee everyday since. I'm over sixty years old and still no migraines.
Amazing transformation Cindy! I have RA as well and have had similar results

@@antomat85 funny I’ve tried it and it wasn’t that great. Again a balanced diet is best.

How are you feeling now? Are you still eating the diet? Thank you.

(And the best vitamin D is from the sun, without sunscreen, and fatty fish.)
You only absorb a small amount of nutrients from plant food. Your doctor's info is outdated. If you doubt this, look up the absorption of some specific vegetables, like spinach and a few more, and look up the bioavailability from red meat. Then test your doctor's knowledge to see if he knows this. I'll bet he can't even come close. 😉
You might ask him how many classes (or even hours, lol!) of nutrition he had in medical school.

Anyway, it would be nice if I could eventually get off this high dose of pregabalin that I’m physically dependent on.

I'm sorry about your Mom

Best wishes and Keep up the great work! Using our body and creating endorphins is an important part of life.
You are 77 days in and no improvement?
My PC gave me trigger point shots for 2 years. 1 time a week until I just said No More. Didn't really help because I bruised so bad after getting 25 shots through out my body. I suffered either way.
@@CottonMitts that's so great to hear! I'm very happy for you!

How it’s going with you ?
I'm not sure about carnivore not reversing damage. Maybe my arthritis isn't at a critical point, but as long as I stay carnivore/ketovore with little to no sugar, I haven't had any issues with my knees or hands. It might be anecdotal but I'll stay in both just for that alone 😊🥳🥰
Whenever I stray off stricter carnivore (ie including dairy), my chronic pain comes back. This really is the only thing that has worked. ❤
So true if I have a beer around the holidays I end up with an ache in my shoulders and the back of my neck . So not Worth it.
I have had fibromyalgia for over a decade or more. 1 month carnivore. Hope it helps stop the pain and fatigue. That's all I want is an end to the pain
I understand, have had fibromyalgia for 32 years. Get very discouraged. Started carnivore today...
It's the cream

Great Work. 16 weeks is awesome!
How long were you on it before you were able to stop meds?
I make milk kefir, water kefir,ACV,sauerkraut and Bulgarian yogurt and my diet is 80% meat, cheese and eggs, i also add these things i make and my knee pain that Dr said I’ll need a replacement for is improved and i have hardly any pain or stiffness now. age 63, and for 2 years I've been told I need a new hip; 4 weeks on keto and I could barely feel it. !0 weeks in I'm reducing my opioids , Praise God!
Very good 😊 I listened to this on your podcast while I was out in the water kayaking and fishing today. Thank you both for all the great information
that sounds so beautiful
I'm on day three of my transition from keto to carnivore. Hoping to get relief from my CFS!
That's awesome, I'm so glad!!!
I hope you're still on 100% carnivore
What a beast, that soft voice is such a counterpoint.
Carnivore has absolutely lessened the muscle contractions I had from an electrical shock injury. The shock shortened the muscles on one side of my upper torso.
Hopefully Carnivore and stretching can reverse this because the contracted muscles cause breathing issues around the torso.
Never say never, the body has an amazing healing capacity.
How long did it take for you to start feeling better? I’m 10 days in to the carnivore diet and I suffer chronic pain issues as well.
@@timgoodwintv I noticed about three months in I was getting better. I mean it started letting me know I was never going back to my old way.
Hey that's amazing! It really just depends on what is causing the hearing loss, but if it's letting your body heal past damage, that's amazing
It has been found that hyperbaric oxygen can help some fibro/ms sufferers but not all and the area is in need of much greater research x

How it’s going ?
You have Floraquinalone toxicity. I have the same thing and doctors just call it fibromyalgia. If you’ve ever taken a floraquinalone antibiotic, you have been severely poisoned.
@@AndreaSanchez-zw7tyhow it can be treated then ??
@@AndreaSanchez-zw7ty interesting. i tested to see if the vaccines were making me sick (somehow there are treatment modals in european clinics that can test for this, i don't really understand it) but i don't think we tested for antibiotics! Dr. Norton's explaination of oxilates toxicity is the best explaination i have come across for fibromyalgia - coupled with the effects of prolonged stress.

Give her turmeric 1 x tsp
Tsp size ginger
Apple 1 x celery stick
1/4tsp black pepper
2 strawberries pinch of salt
1 1/2 cup water ...

No sugar at al

TMS, tension myositis syndrome.
Anybody remember that?
It's more definitive than fibromyalgia.
The pain is real because it's caused by real tension.
never heard of that but the first doctor that diagnosed me with Fibro said my condition was brought on my constant tension & stress.
