Regarding Jaime's crying. It's common for stroke victims to cry or be more emotional. It's called pseudobulbar affect which occurs due to the part of the brain being injured from the stroke.

This is my opinion. I noticed moments where Jamie Foxx's speech patterns reflected his ongoing recovery from a stroke. Those instances where he seemed to lose his train of thought really showed the brave journey he's still on. It was a heartfelt moment seeing his daughter perform on stage, but I noticed that her finger movements didn't match the music's riffs at the end of the song. A background guitarist could have been playing for her. Despite this, the performance was moving, and Jamie's story is truly inspiring. His strength and honesty are admirable, and it's great to see him openly sharing his experience.

Jamie Foxx has always been my definition of an entertainer. He can sing, act, dance (a little bit), play piano well, and he's funny and has charm (though I can agree that he's funnier in tv shows than standup 🤔).
Nevertheless, great to see him have this big comback 😎. Also, in regards to him making Diddy jokes, that isn't surprising. One, because he's made them in the past, and two I'm sure most stand-ups are gonna making Diddy jokes for a long time 😅 😅. I said the same thing about Trump when he was first elected in 2016 😅 😅.

Ok, usually I don’t do this but I gotta drag y’all a little. First of all Cory(might be misspelled but it’s a drag so stay focused), you must not have watched the Jamie Foxx show or been a fan for very long because how did you not know he could play piano? Did you think he was fake playing in Ray too? Jamie is that talented! Recognize fool. He does deserve all his flowers from a poor boy in Texas to a Hollywood/music star! He should flex and celebrate. I’m celebrating with him because he could be in the ground right now. That’s what humbled him and had him crying so much because he could be worm food but instead he got to walk his oldest daughter down the aisle and perform on stage with his baby girl. He was not acting. Those tears were real. So what if it was rehearsed Martin, he probably cried in the rehearsal too. Because nearly losing your life messes with you mentally. Transitioning from thinking I don’t have health issues then losing 20 days of your memory and waking up to being crippled, forever changed that man. That is humbling and he should cry, testify, dance, sing, and joke about it all he wants. Go Jamie! TGBTG 🎉🎉🎉

If you are paying to go to a Jamie Foxx show then you are likely a strong fan. He gives his fans exacerbated they want. I went to to one over 10 years ago and still have great memories of it till this day. Jokes, singing, acting, etc.. There is no better pure entertainer.

The funniest thing I've seen Jamie Foxx do was at Emmitt Smith's roast and he straight up torched a new comedian named Doug Williams. He ruined this dude's entire career that night, but it's hilarious.

I didn't really enjoy it; I was hoping for more comedy. I found it a bit boring as I'm not a big enough fan to care about his personal stories. I found myself skipping through a lot of the special.

I would trust Ellen DeGeneres less if she gave a half-hearted apology rather than just being honest about not being sorry

Jamie at the beginning clarified that Diddy didn't try to kill him and he isn't a clone. I don't blame him because people who spread these dumb rumors make my head hurt.

  • @5cburrell

Nah folks was saying Jamie was first to report Diddy to the FBI & this was gonna be discussed in this stand up special. Which I knew wasn’t gonna happen.
But his impressions…especially Katt Williams had me in TEARS.
