    Im with you on that 1 mate, follow your own path.... nothing pleases me more than fishing in a peg that gets neglected and catching a few fish. im out this weekend for a couple of nights on the river so hopefully ill get on a fish or 2

    I fished it last night for the first time this year, and had 2 lovely barbel, one before dark and the other this morning, not a bite in the dark oddly. Can't wait to go again those barbel don't arf fight hard. Those drop takes could be bream, I had loads, my tips never stopped moving, liners all the time and bream rolling everywhere

    i cant work out if iv actualy met you along the trent, im a bailiff for a club on the trent and started fishing again at the start of the season after a 6 year brake, may i ask you all a question please? may i ask how long are your hook leanths? because im getting mixed mixed reviews on that one, ps im on the trent first thing in the morning wish me look because i sure need it, its great watching these vids, thanks for shareing, tight lines everyone

      Hooklinks vary on each session , normally 3-6 ft depending on the flow of the river.

      Yes mate , I find winter really good for barbel fishing

      It’s better down there in the winter than the summer. Especially when the levels are up.
