Im with you on that 1 mate, follow your own path.... nothing pleases me more than fishing in a peg that gets neglected and catching a few fish. im out this weekend for a couple of nights on the river so hopefully ill get on a fish or 2
I fished it last night for the first time this year, and had 2 lovely barbel, one before dark and the other this morning, not a bite in the dark oddly. Can't wait to go again those barbel don't arf fight hard. Those drop takes could be bream, I had loads, my tips never stopped moving, liners all the time and bream rolling everywhere
Hi I'm very surprised you failed to catch chubby or barbell. But at least you had some bream..I'm looking forward to you doing perch vidios. Cheers for the sharing...

Hooklinks vary on each session , normally 3-6 ft depending on the flow of the river.
Good luck on your session mate.

Yes mate , I find winter really good for barbel fishing
It’s better down there in the winter than the summer. Especially when the levels are up.
