Kelantan is the home for rempah gulai. Gulai Kawah, Gulai Kerutuk, Ayam Goreng Berempah...just to name a few...tokey2 rempah tersohor ada di Bachok, Pasir Puteh, Kota Bharu, Tumpat...they are millionare...but very low profile trust me... Setiap kedai makan anda pergi mesti gulainya berbeza kadang2 masakan Nasi Berlauk Gulai2 di tepi jalan lebih sedap berbanding di Restoran. Next time kalau sempat boleh ke Tumpat district...try makan di kedai Nasi Kak Chik....the production is massive like factory...
Kelantanese food culture is somewhat ignored when people talk about Malaysian food. Thank you for shining some light upon what I believe to be some of the best food in the country. ❤
Hey CK, as a Singaporean Chinese, our exposure to anything along the East Coast of Semenanjung Malaysia is quite limited. I’m sorry if this question is a bit political but, I understand that the Kelantan is the stronghold of PAS/PN (Green Wave). Just wondering if you got any funny looks being a Malaysian Chinese yourself? Kelantan is very fascinating to me because while I can understand a decent amount of Malay, I can literally catch no ball when it comes to Kelate
Kelantan has been under the Islamic party since the 1990s. This is my second trip to the states. I absolutely fell in ♥️ on my first trip during the pandemic. Everyone has a smile on their face here. Everyone treated me so well. Guess what, It’s visit kelantan year 2024. Come see it for yourself there’s a direct flight ✈️ from JB. Stay tune more east coast video coming up ⬆️
