Don't ever forget you are beautiful NO MATTER what size you are...I came to a point where I realized I wasn't taking care of myself in anyway whether that was mentally, physically, or emotionally. Again, I don't want this to be a "how to lose weight tutorial" because this is just my own personal fitness journey that I wanted to share. A number on a scale doesn't define who you are.

Here are my tips:
Be motivated (I watch transformations videos and my 600 pound life)
Drink water (hydration is key!)
Try to not eat when bored (I used to do this and gained a lot of pounds)
Write down what you eat (don’t count calories or anything just look back at it)
Try to restrict your diet slowly (small things like soda)
Be active but also try and make it fun by doing your favorite sport or run with music
Make goals for yourself but don’t have supper high expectations
This ones kinda weird but when you wake up in the morning make your bed and don’t get back in or on the bed until night time
Have inspiration to keep going (such as quotes around your room)
Have smaller portions of food
Have friends or family to support your journey

That doctor on the my 600 pound life cuts your calories too low. Can you eat 900 calories per day? Nope not me either. But it's only for a month or 2! Yeah.
For better motivational video, learn something new! How to cook, how to meal prep, how to make healthy quick meals, etc. Than do it yourself and feel awesome.

OMG I have the same problem though at the start of school I was 140 then to this day i am 150 i gained 10 pounds this school year so the start of summer I kept telling myself I would start to loose weight but haha that didnt happen and now I'm panicking cause there is only about a month left. I realize now that I wish I was 140 again I remember feeling so overweight but now I wish I could just go back and be happy my goal weight is around 120

Thank you so much for making this video. I’m so glad that you decided to share this with us. I’ve been struggling with my body, eating habits, self esteem, and health for a while. Your advice has just given me so much inspiration and hope that I’m actually crying right now. For the first time in a long time, I feel like I can make it; and that I will make it. I want to change for the better. Not for anyone or anything, but myself. You’ve helped me finally realize that. I’m going to try my best to go through with these changes to my lifestyle. Thank you so much for this video, Alisha. I’m currently in recovery from atypical anorexia, which I dealt with for about 10 years. Despite being the person who was always trying to lose weight, I’m usually the biggest in my friend group, and it’s always been really frustrating. As part of my recovery, I really want to heal my relationship with food and build my body up to be strong and lean but still curvy. Seeing you have such success after having a history of restrictive eating is really inspiring. This video is amazing. Ive struggled with an eating disorder for years now, I binge eat and then starve myself and restrict myself. IRONICALLY that has caused me to fluctuate in weight a lot. Im trying to be healthier and fit instead of worrying about a number on a scale. You rock, girl

I related to the beginning of this video so much. You talk about relationship with foods, and unhealthy relationships. This video is motivating me to sustain a healthier lifestyle, and not to just lose 10 pounds. Thank you for being truthful with your story, while trying new things.
i’m on a fitness journey myself rn and omg everything u said about putting myself first is sooooo relatable
1) not care about your scale weight (it doesn’t matter, you can be 2 dress sizes down but weight more because of the muscle)
2) put yourself first (do it for you, not because you want to look nice for your crush)
3) get a nutritionist (everyone has a different kind of metabolism, you need your specific diet, not one that worked for your friend)
4) eat whole foods, veggies, protein and fruit
5) no dairy, no yeast, no gluten, no rice, oatmeal
6) see food as fuel, not an enemy that you have to reduce
7) get enough sleep and food to fuel your body so your routine in the gym works
8) drink plenty of water
9) prioritize going to the gym
10) listen to your body (if you are exhausted do not go to the gym, if you are full listen to eat and don’t eat)
11) have a cheat meal

Viri Gandolfo this is great- but there is nothing wrong with gluten, rice, or oatmeal! the major issue with these foods is people do not understand correct portion sizing. Oat meal and brown rice are great complex carbs that can be essential as a part of a calorie deficit meal plan!

I have watched probably over 100 videos past year on this topic, trying to find something thats work for me, wether it was very unhealthy diet or very intense workout with literally made me quit in a week.
This is the most helpful video I’ve come across about losing weight.
I just now realized ive been doing it for all the wrong reasons and I should not care how i look, but i should care how my body feels and where my mental and physical health stands right now.
Its 3 am right now and im going to bed but gonna wake up in 7 hours, rested and ready to change my life.
I dont know how long i can keep it up but my goal is to lose 10 kgs in 2 months.
Maybe i can do it, maybe not 😊 as long as im healthy its okay to weigh certain weight 💪🏼

I have a dual metabolism too and there’s been so many times where i’ve tried to lose weight doing what other people do and nothing works. Just knowing you also have that dual metabolism definitely encourages me and reminds me that your plan can actually help so I won’t give up when it takes time.
