Some journey there Luke and welcome to Scotland , don't worry too much about the 40 speed limits on single carrigeway roads in fact you will probably attract more attention from the plod for doing 40 rather than doing over. 👍
If only other Trucker's' used their microphone as good as you do & remembered to turn them on!. I can always hear what you say as you speak so clear & concise' Which helps me enormously as I'm 73 & of poor hearing. Keep up the good work Luke...
Hi Luke, I spent 40 years tramping both in the UK and on the continent, so easy to pile on the pounds mate, got that T shirt, when I lost it my world changed for the better mate in all departments, don't listen to the haters, you do what you know is best for you bud.
Looked pretty white and icy on those Scottish roads crossing the border. Great video on a serious long journey. Love this video. Stay safe and take care.
Another great vlog, Luke, nice to see you up in the North East again. Welcome,! Would be nice to see footage of you going through tunnel and crossing road bridge in Scotland. Nice one anyway. Rob - Newcastle
The number of apps you had open is mind blowing Thanks for the content Luke, often watch these videos when work is stressful in the Commercial world as a reminder when things aren't going right as a switch off for 30-60 mins, greatly appreciated
I have been to Peterhead and the surrounding area a few times, but by Scottish city link coach and bus, its nice area, not most scenic in Scotland, I took some nice pics of fishing trawlers last time there, during Covid, when was able to travel, that would be a decent drive, my journey there and back was 2 days of travelling, keep up the vids.
What no wind shield washer antifreeze in the UK?, that AF blue stuff is all over in the stores and fuel stations in Canada and north US states, otherwise is is frozen solid until Spring, and the system has expanded and broken.
Hi Luke nice trip, you must have travelled up just after A1 cleared or before it got bad I live just off the A1 at Berwick upon tweed and its the North sea you could see on your way up 👌
My company has electronics systems on the Pathway( boat you were next to). Lunar is a decent company to deal with. We’re based in Fife and even then Peterheid is a trek.
Crackalackin' video Luke! You've inspired me to take the leap from driving Buses and Coaches to getting my Class I eventually. Hopefully starting training soon within the next few weeks!
Dyce isn't the easiest to find good spaces but they do keep the main roads well kept. I used to work at the other end of the airport where the helicopters are. It's even worse for parking so you chose right to park up for the night where you did. Peterhead is pronounced Peterheed. My grandmother spent most of her life there at the tomato canning factory.
There’s as fan at Blyth football club. Who wears a hat with a fully functional toaster on it he goes in away pubs and plugs him self in to the electric to feed the pub he’s called john the toaster and is barmy. Funniest bloke you can meet
Excellent video Luke, love the Scottish scenery, but not the ice and snow, I could feel the chill when you opened your window! Looking forward to the trip to Wales! Keep up the good work and keep safe! 😀🚛☃
Hey luke, that's a right journey for you. Always cracking videos fella keep them coming love all of them. What are them red things on ur dash light up they look cool.
Peterhead the uks biggest whitefish port, and only a 30mins drive from me and the factory you was delivering to deals the pelagic fish, like mackerel and herring those boat that was beside you are pelagic trawlers and one was discharging its fish into the factory
i live in Brechin glad you didnt stop just north at stracathro services not the best of places and i,v been to peterhead plenty time with gas and oil gear on the lorry
Up my way that is Luke, shame you didn't get a chance to go up in between Inverness and Aberdeen on the A93 to Braemar, some road that is, not sure how possible it is in a HGV in winter though lol probably the biggest hill in the UK before the Glenshee ski place
Most HGV are doing 60 in Scotland Luke, its usually pretty obvious who the English are as they are always doing around 40 lol. I know the place where you get stuck, or atleast the main road part of it. Lots of fun roads like that either caked in mud, snow, holes, floods, great place to drive a truck, will be interesting to see your next video lol
Sad thing about U.K., they only sell washer fluid down to -10… I live in Germany and we get -30 to -60° washer fluid, so don’t have the problems of frozen fluid!
Up the boro and famous teesside chicken parmo land Near there at begaining in Middlesbrough round corner there place called upex pies 🥧 parmo pies and pies awesome foods
Gutted! I missed you. I'd have been on the peterhead road if I'd known Luke. And... looks like you got stuck in the ice on the fisherford road beween oldmeldrum & colpy. I just drove that road yesterday. Also... if you are in or near Aberdeen again luke, contact me and I'll take you a flask of tea/coffee. you were only 20 mins from me.
How long can you record on that gopro? Does it depend on storage? Do you have to keep pressing record every 20 minutes or can you record infinite amount (according to storage size not actually infinite) in one go?
I have 128 GB SD cards in each GoPro and record at 60 FPS in 4K. Each card can hold just under two hours of footage. To record, I use the voice functionality on my GoPro’s “ GoPro start recording” “ GoPro stop recording”
@@lukecinahgv Nice. So you can record as long as the SD cards will allow then? and battery of course. Never seen your channel before but I've been bingewatching since 7am lol
Hi Luke love the vids. Keep up the good work! It looks like your using your iPhone as a sat nav? What app are you using? I haven’t been able to find any decent truck nav apps for iPhone?
Nightmare journey that. Plenty of average speed camera on that road. Got a relative very near (10 miles )to there and i hate doing the trip. I take the Aberdeen bypass to avoid Aberdeen. It is badly signposted. Brechin is pronounced Breekin
When the Temps are below freezing, try adding some rubbing alcohol in your windshield wiper fluid. Does wonders!!!
Some journey there Luke and welcome to Scotland , don't worry too much about the 40 speed limits on single carrigeway roads in fact you will probably attract more attention from the plod for doing 40 rather than doing over. 👍
I used to do between 50 to 53 and never had a problem going between Aberdeen (Dyce) where we were based and Bristol.
The DAF disco dash and the 🎵Digga ding, Digga Ding🎵 soundtrack continually in the background 😂

Good to see a wee part of my hame toon o' Peterheid. Looked like a typical summer's day👌
Nice to see a video of you up in Scotland. Nice new gen R W Stewart Scania parked opposite you when you stopped in a lay-by on the way up.
You were in my hometown, I used to work in the factory next door to where you delivered too.
So impressed by your unflappability. You are a perfect self manager. Just subscribed.

Luke. The sea is on your right hand side heading north. It's the frigging NORTH SEA. If it' on your left then you are lost.
Excellent video, Luke! Thank you.
Peterhead is my home town, would have been good to meet you Luke 🤙
Great video once again! Would you ever want to do over seas work in Europe? That would be interesting.

Siri set my alarm for 30 minutes. 🤣
Double stacked pallets no matter the weight have to be ratcheted down
To keep the windshield wiper fluid from freezing add some rubbing alcohol in the fluid run it a couple of times, problem solved.
