I started collecting previous gen consoles and games just over a year ago and “the hunt” is what I enjoy the most. Searching game stores and charity shops for hidden gems. The reason I watch most of your videos is to remind me of games I may not have thought to look for so thanks for all the content and opinions. Keep up the good work 👍🏻
Man, the InFamous games on PS3 is such a joy to play. So much so that I got platinum trophies for both InFamous 1 & 2. That's how much I liked playing these games. Very underrated PS3 titles.
Heavenly Sword DID get a spiritual successor in Enslaved: Odyssey to the West by Ninja Theory. Was supposed to be a sequel but just became its own thing. Great video, man!
Btw Starhawk had a very exceptional and amazing multiplayer. It was definitely the highlight of the game. One of my favourite multiplayer experiences of all time. Same goes for GOW Ascension (it's still up and running btw).
I had to sell my ps5 and so I picked up a ps3 and it's vest decision I made most games are around 5 bucks and I got a old school game store next to my house and they got anything u could ask for and if they don't got it they will get it
Motorstorm Apocalypse is the third one. It’s different than the first 2 but great. Sony didn’t market it at all or release it in Japan because the Fukushima meltdown/earthquake happened a week before its release
Great selection. I have "Remember Me" on 360. Know nothing about it and never tried it. Seeing your footage really made me want to find out more about it. Maybe the boring cover art means you never bother picking it off the shelf to try.
If the PS5 was backwards compatible with physical disks I’d buy one yesterday. Unfortunately, that isn’t the case. Aside form stuff like Ratchet and Clank, Octodad, Astrobot, and a few others I don’t really have an incentive to buy a PS5. Most of the first and third party PlayStation games I’m interested in are from the PS2/3 era, and I can just emulate those (I’ve been doing that to play Resistance, the older Ratchet and Clanks, Little Big Planet, and others. It’s been a blast. If Sony were to make collections of their older games for PS5/PC it would print them money). There’s not really an excuse to not have backwards compatibility since hobbyists in their spare time have been able to get emulation working, and even restore online multiplayer for games whose surfers shut down. The current Xbox is backwards compatible with a good chunk of the previous systems’ libraries; and if you pay $20 for dev mode you can use emulators going up to the PS2/Wii. Certain models of the PS3 were backwards compatible with the PS1/2 (I recently bought a modded Vita so I can play PS1, PSP, and Vita games. I used to have a PSP, but stupidly traded it in when I was a dumb kid. The Ape Escape port was so much fun. Such a shame Sony killed Japan Studio).
I personally really like collecting physical media, but I don’t have a lot of space. From what I’ve heard the backwards compatible PS3’s are dying, and also finicky when it comes to PS1/2 games. Plus, I can get most of the stuff I want on my Xbox and PC (speaking of Xbox, there’s this upcoming program called Xwine1. The Xbox One runs on a stripped down version of Windows, and this is a compatibility layer that makes it run with normal Windows. It’s nowhere near a presentable state, and the people working on it haven’t released the thing because of that. Once it’s ready for public consumption this will be great for preservation). I recently bought a PS5 controller so I could get a slightly more authentic experience when emulating. I also learned that there’s Vita mods that let you use a PS4 controller, and hook it up to a tv/computer monitor (if Sony had properly supported the Vita/PS TV they could’ve had success. Although, it still would’ve died sometime after the Switch came out).
bro the ps3 has aged so well, all these games are still amazing to this day
Exactly!

I would love remasters! Sucks that they forgot all about this great franchise!

Thanks so much!
I was watching this video yesterday and it disappeared. So glad it’s back up!!!
I had the wrong game in a spot, so I had to redo and re-upload! lol
MGS4 once a yeah, eh? I should do that too; maybe then I'll get that Platinum Trophy after beating it 8 times.
Couldn't hurt!
Thanks! Ordered the titles I didn't have yet.
That's awesome to hear!
Far cry 4, spec ops the Line, Max Payne 3, résident evil 5 , army of two devils cartel, ninja gaiden sigma 2 ,,,,,, ps3 games is the best of all time💪

Too bad they took the multiplayer down rather quickly, but yea I agree with you.

It's such a fun game!
I’ve had Heavenly Sword on Disc since day one. Great game aside from the abysmal fluctuating frame-rate lol
Yeah, frame drops are common, but such a fun game!
Great video man. These are great games to play. I have played all of them.
Thanks so much!

I actually agree with you, and I own a PS5 lol

I collect games but i also utilize emulators sometimes for the ease of use.
I guess if you just wanted to play that's cool, but for me it's all about to collect!
Meanwhile I’ve been tryna purge my PS3 collection. Think I sold like 25 games in the last few months
lol way ahead of you 😅
LMAO!
I got them all ❤
Just beat sly 4. Its awesome i dont get the hate
Sony was awesome like Microsoft in my opinion then everything suddenly changed they do things without soul now
