    I FINALLY TUNED MY B8 S4!!! I slapped on my Integrated Engineering Stage 1 - 91 tune and let'er rip!!! I was and still am truly impressed with what Integrated Engineering is able to do with just a tune and no hardware changes. This car is certainly going to be a blast when it comes to making it faster and faster with more modifications. I can't wait to make even more power!!!

    • @VancityAudi

      On the contrary dyno runs prove the Stage 1 on B8-B8,5 s4 is actually more about top end by increasing redline and stopping the bypass valve from opening prematurely in the rpm range. So it effectively keeps the car in boost longer. So day to day driving in low rpms isn’t dramatically changed. I have Unitronic stage 1 and i get pretty much the same exact dragy numbers and the car is fun!

I’m coming from an Evo X I had a setup for 500whp, I never installed the parts though bc at the end of the day I didn’t want to risk stock block on the evo x (it will hold just a matter of how long with evos that tends to be their iffy safe zone) but I was wondering what you recommend for a very quick and fast street setup for the Rs3 tuning wise, I’m wanting to be around 500ish whp mark or what ever the car is fully capable making in stock motor / turbo safely not trying to do a crazy high stock block setup that’s somewhat risking the Motor. I like your presentation of video and the car but if you’re gonna do a “stock baseline pull” do it on 93 or 91 octane....that’s everyday gas and yes your quarter would of been low 13’s with that fuel.. maybe about .3-.4 slower. That ethanol corrodes....trust me. I wouldn’t use it very often if I were you

    • @VancityAudi
      @VancityAudi  3 года назад

      I'm getting the most I can out of the car to set that baseline in stock form. Anything less than that would just be an unfair comparison. I've run an E15 to E20 blend every tank of gas I've used, in every car I've owned since 2016. It does nothing to the modern day fuel system's at that low a percentage when daily driven. Most fuel out of the pump already contains up to 10% ethanol. I'm simply adding (at most) another 10%. Our local fuel here is dogsh$t and shows massive timing reduction even on a 91 tune, so using that fuel for this comparison would have been dumb seeing as the car wouldn't have been performing as best it can on the stock tune as well as the IE tune. My goal is to show people what the ultimate potential is of these cars and tunes, not to show people how crappy they would run on our garbage local fuel.

    • @scottjohnson8316
      @scottjohnson8316 3 года назад

      Idk man..... you would have to demonstrate logs of pulled timing on pump gas for me to buy that. Well I guess the gas around here in NJ somehow is miles ahead because no one around here runs blends, both because of the distance and also price. BMW, MB and Audi and just about every car made today are built to adapt and perform unless gas is watered down or something. If you just want to squeeze out an additional 7-10 hp per tank then go ahead and blend away.

      @@scottjohnson8316 I hoped you would doubt me and not believe me, lol. Here is the 1st part of my extensive 3 part fuel comparison videos I did on our local fuels in my completely stock B8 S4. Enjoy... ruclips.net/video/f92fAjVcTto/видео.html

    • @scottjohnson8316
      @scottjohnson8316 3 года назад

      Yea saw that video..... bit what are you gonna tell guys who dump all that ethanol in and still pull timing due to a huge shitload of factors other than quality of fuel? .....been there done that. But yes if your gas is that bad then does everyone around there run blends? I suppose only those looking for max performance?
      Secondly you mentioned octane boost and not using it? Klotz has got no MMT and I use it and it’s kick ass and a lot of other people use it as well.
      And as mentioned you will have a lot more to worry about than retarded timing if you keep launching cars with all that horsepower. And if you refute that let me ask you if you would buy a car from a guy that you KNEW launched the car regularly? You wouldn’t touch that car! Crap man I still haven’t launched my 340i yet..... idk maybe I will eventually

    • @VancityAudi
      @VancityAudi  3 года назад

      @@scottjohnson8316 I think you misunderstood what I was saying about running straight pump gas. If I was to run a 93 octane tune on our local 94 octane gas I would ping and knock until my motor let go. I have seen handfuls of cars blow up at our local track because they were running 93 octane tunes with our local fuel. I'm not about to showcase what the tune and car is capable of doing with sh$t fuel. I always get the most out of my cars due to the fuel I put in the tank as well as many other underlining factors. Going quickly and going fast are much more important to me than showing people how slowly and poorly my car will run on our local fuel. If you don't won't to see the max performance on these cars then my videos aren't for you and I hope you are able to find something more suitable on other channels featuring B8 S4's. All the best
