This is an old project I did: taking WysokiFilms' Heir to the Empire LEGO Chapter 1 stop motion and recreating the entire audio track, using dialogue from the 25th anniversary audiobook. Although he posted Chapter 2 several years ago, I have no plans to continue this dubbing project. Thanks! However, the brickfilm itself is not my work, but rather that of WysokiFilms. What I did was redo the audiotrack in English. Any further work I do in that regard will depend on whatever more he may or may not do with Heir to the Empire. I've done several other redubs too, so feel free to check them out. Nerd critique: Those New Republic capital ships are supposed to be Assault Frigates, which are modified Dreadnaught-class heavy cruisers, not the smaller Nebulon-b escort frigates.

I first discovered the original brickfilm (ruclips.net/video/kzDd9Fr67PM/видео.html) a couple of years ago, done by a Polish brickfilm channel, WysokiFilms (ruclips.net/channel/UC7pLWLTKVVH0mlf9ZbbjzTA). I thought it would be nice to have the brickfilm dubbed in English so I did it myself using the incredible work of Marc Thompson from the audiobook. I basically created a new audiotrack, using his dialogue with sound effects and music, and cut it and the brickfilm together. I'm glad you enjoyed it! As for anything in the future, I'm dependent on more material to work with. I did another redub of a different Heir to the Empire brickfilm (ruclips.net/video/dFsyHgwTDSU/видео.html) and have considered remastering this Chapter 1 video. I believe Pellaeon's referring to a statistical or ballistics graph on the tactical display. Probably related to the efficiency of the Chimaera and her relatively green crew. Thrawn had been having them run drills and such.
One issue with attempting such a redub would be lip-syncing as the dialogue delivery is different. It wasn't an issue with this LEGO redub since there was no mouth movement.

Yep, I imagine the original animator didn't have access to a LEGO digital version of the actual product and decided to substitute.

It's an interesting thought and one I may pursue in the future. Right now, I'm working on a Yoda vs. Sidious animatic redub.
