What "animal sounds" in a zoo behind glass are we looking for exactly? Or the "animal sounds" made by a vet staff who is measuring a baby orangutans leg?? Or "sounds from animal" that is being fed in a controlled environment by a human care giver from a bottle he just warmed? gawd
If we lost every orangutan in the whole wide world , What would happen ???¿¿¿¿???? Why are they worth treating these animals better than we do our own species? AND YES WE DO!
Humans never stop multiplying themselves (8 billion human beings). On the Earth, they have invaded every possible place and destroyed the environment. Humans are not an endangered species, on the contrary, As a résultat humans are aggressive beings who are polluting, destroying every trees, plants, animals, insects, water, air everywhere on this endangered Planet.
Poor little orphans ! In their natural environments they receive their mother’s love, protection and help to be able to survive in the wild during SEVEN YEARS . They are not separated from each other’s during this period of time. Humans with their palm oil trees have destroyed their forest, and poachers have killed their mothers. and this is the horrible story of these poor beautiful, lonely and traumatized orphans. VERY SAD INDEED.
NURSE Kathy I know in the wild they do a kiss squeak sound but that to make you leave them alone. I love watching these primates. They are so human like. They love, they cry, they laugh and yes they even throw temper tantrums.
+Just Wondering This baby orangutan Niu-Li was born on Apr 11, 2012. It's almost one year old by the time it appeared in this video! In an earlier video, from close observations, Taipei Zoo staff found that Niu-Li's mother didn't feed the baby for a long time after birth ( about 4 hours) ! And mom didn't even bite off her umbilical cord to her baby or clean it up! Mom also seemed very weak & exhausted! So the zoo keepers figured that mom didn't have enough milk or experience to nurture her infant because it was her 1st born child ! Worried about the newborn's survival & its risk to infection, the veterinary doctor gave her mom temporary anaesthesia to perform the medical procedures to ensure the safety of both mom & baby. Then they decided to feed the baby with special formula milk until the baby is strong enough to live on before it would be reunited with its 13-year old orangutan mother!!
@nolan hicks : Not if the goal is to optimize the numbers of orangutans. Ideally they would have supplemented the baby with appropriate formula, then given it back to the mother. She might have caught on. Surely the baby needed to be fed, but 4 hours is not very long for a new, young mother to figure out her role.
Excellent video! Makes me want one but I know it's not good for them. So give one a hug and kiss from me🤗😘💞I just love Orangs to bits!!

Wouldn’t care if they disappeared forever

people like animals when they are babies.
when they get older(animals) no one wants to take care of them anymore.
the big reason for stray animals.
Greg Brooks : I think that is not true for most of us. I have had many pets who lived long lives with me.

How about you get dropped on your head. Ohh, sorry someone already did that.
It looks like it’s been dropped on its face many times
