  • This is a forgotten album by Warfare. It is re-recordings of some of their classic songs. They are better quality than some of the earlier recordings and also have some beefier double kick drumming on them where as the originals did not. I've posted this on here so people can hear the album as it doesn't seem to be anywhere else. I am not sure when this was recorded, the cd I have say's 1993 but it may have been recorded sometime between 1990 and All copyright belongs to the band - I am just a fan. Enjoy people!!!

    I prefer the original recordings, cause they have that crass noise thing, it just sounds raw and I like it. but this is so much better if you're trying to learn any of the songs ! cause the albums are no dirty you can even discern one guitar part from the other.

      That's true I guess. But they had been gaining clarity on "Conflict of Hatred". Less filth in the sound and more presicison, but musically still as filthy and raw, just a little more sonically better. This alsbum is just novelty but in a good way, it's those older tunes but on steriods and I like it a lot. Real meaty sounding. Also Prince of Darkness sounds like a good song on this as opposed to the original.

      yeah, you just can hear the parts better. I'm ok with the older mixings, but this reallly helps for musicians. and I like newer versions anyway so it's great. I didn't knew this collection before RUclips

      it has not came out on Brazil yet, the same with any other Warfare records I guess... but I have some on american Vynil. Warfare is really an amazing act, I came across them in 2006, and got really impressed how much they influenced crossover bands in S America, like Ratos de Porao and Sepultura. however it's still not known in here for a broader audience. the Lemmy record is the best, for me.

    What's the difference between this compilation of re-recordings and and the other compilation A Crescendo of Reflections?

    • @RabidGerry
      @RabidGerry  7 лет назад +1

      It's the same. Not sure if Crescendo came out first or not or if it was on vinyl.

      Just checked and this was later released as Decade of Decibels in 1993, where as Crescendo of Reflections was 1991. Same album though, I just never discovered Crescendo of Reflections, I got this version instead.
