You don’t average two spring rates in series guys. Think for a second, if you have one spring that’s 300 lb/in and press it against a wall you’ll feel 300 lb/in of force. Now if you put that spring up against another spring, it wi always feel softer than 300lb/in because the second spring is compressing some, even if the 2nd one has a higher spring rate. So two springs are always lighter than any individual spring. As another posted, the correct formula is to use the product divided by the sum for spring rates.

I have a turbo R 4 and it’s true dual rate. I honestly didn’t think springs would make that much difference but best money spent. It brings ride height back and eliminates the small chatter even trail riding. We ride arkansas a lot. Live in southeast Oklahoma.

The combined spring rate for your 500lb and 300lb single rate is actually 187, not 400. Formula: equivalent = (spring _1 * spring_2) / (spring_1 + spring_2)

I want to upgrade my 23 can am xrs max with smart shox to the dual rate springs. I have added a lot of weight into it and noticed it has less clearance now. Also, I ride in dunes and sand at very high speeds, will you recommend the upgrade?

i have a 2023 rzr trail s 1000 60” it has fox shocks and 1 spring on each shock it doesnt have the same rear trailer arm setup as the bigger sxs can i still do a tender swap kit into it? The rear shocks are the only big diffrence i see the ones on the xp and turbo rzrz look longer or bigger

you could... you would just need to make sure the kit comes with enough sliders for the front and back shocks. When running dual springs you have to have a plastic slider in between them.

I have a pro r ultimate and same crossover clunk. Put Schmidty racing fulk spring kit .brides way better at slow crawling speeds and fast speefs also. Worth evwey penny
