I think the energetic 'Good morning' reference came from the kindergarten and elementary students in PH. It is how they greet their teachers and classmates whenever the class starts. Btw, love how you react to the queens. You're always full of wisdom. More power to u!

I saw a video of Viñas after a watch party of the episode and she said that it took 3 months (after filming) for her full recovery because apparently it was a full bone fracture. 🥹 I love Viñas so much and all of the other queens and I’m sad to see her go (and I’ll prolly be also sad to see other queens sashay in the future episodes) xoxo from the Philippines. 🫶🏻

Man, what I like about your reactions is you kept it on a blind reaction all the time. Thus, we see and we can show the world or the filipino people that as a foreigner, this is the immediate reaction. Regardless of your knowledge of the references, we can still see how you enjoy it. Most of the "hate" comments you get are coming off as emotionally driven instead of giving you(and other foreigners) consideration that you don't know these things first hand. They maybe don't watch your reviews after where you correct yourself after being informed and educated on things. I like that you keep it real from a perspective of a foreigner. Sometimes people don't realize that even Americans don't get american references as well, especially if you don't follow the trend or whatever. Example not everyone in America will know country artists or rap artists, cause they don't follow them. Anywho lol great reaction my lady.

To me it’s ok. I’m native French Canadian living in English Canada, and I enjoy watching even if I don’t get all the references, whether it be Ph, US, UK, DU, France or Canada! I can still enjoy it.
And I gotta say about Ph, some ppl feel it’s running long. Well it is, but I enjoy it cause it’s the critiques/commentary part that makes it lengthy, and I love some Mamaw Pao shade! I like that the girls also have a chance to reply.

However, I really can’t believe Brigiding is still in the competition while Vinas has been eliminated. Viñas’ first look was parody within parody, as she mentioned. She actually impersonate Paolo (mama pao, the host) impersonating heart evangelista. Heart is known for painting luxury bags. And paolo has a commercial/endorsement, where she impersonates heart carrying cooler (like ice cooler) that has painting on it.

You're right about the gloves being reused. Minty Fresh tweeted that the judges just understood because they shot this during the height of the pandemic and lockdowns here. I also agree with Brigiding nailing the mini challenge over Minty.
Jiggly revealed in a Live post earlier, that the queens only had 5 hours to make their outfits and 1 additional hour on the day of runway. She also mentioned that they only get 1.5 hours for makeup too. Eva was dragged for the sake of production. When BT wanted Eva to turn around (to see the backside) Rajo telling Eva "this is why you'll never win" even after his soapbox rant reading of her, was brutal and too far.

This was a tough episode because, like you, I didn’t agree with the outcomes. Brigiding should’ve won that Mini Challenge & Xilhouete (or Marina, for that matter) should’ve won that Maxi Challenge hands down, IMO. Viñas & Eva were definitely the Bottom 2 this week. Eva picked up steam after that wig reveal, which gave her the edge over Viñas. I didn’t like that the comedy queen of the season had to leave but that ankle (the Kornbread Kurse strikes again) would’ve forced her out eventually. As far as Minty is concerned, this was an obvious plot to push her as the frontrunner of the season. And yes, I’m tired of those gloves as well (which she probably was allowed to use since they were more of an accessory than an actual part of her outfit). We’ll discuss this episode in the live chat tomorrow because I had questions. 🤔🧐

Regarding the Minty gloves situation, the producers let them make use of whatever resources that they had because they understood that the queens didn't have much with them as they recorded this season during the peak of the pandemic.
But the challenge was create your outfit from the materials given . She didn't need to bring anything everything was given to her . But she still used the gloves she worn twice already. For that she should not have been qualified to be in the top
The GOOD MORNING Reference is mainly from how teachers in kindergarten greet the kids, with uber exaggeration of tone and expression and actions which is copied by the little kids (students) Basically a good morning class good morning teacher kinda thing with energy times a million

But the gravity of the garment isn't the same. Without Corazon's dress underneath, she would be naked and left with the chickenwire mess. On Minty's case, even without the gloves, the outfit still works.
But I still think Marina should've won this time. Her outfit didn't look like anything from the original material.
Vinas got eureka-ed and kornbread-ed. She revealed in a viewing party that it was really a fracture and she needed three months to heal. So if she wasn’t eliminated this episode she’ll prolly be forced to rest just like eureka and kornbread.

Brigiding should have been elimated at episode 6. Seriously. She was forgettable, brandless and much much weaker than Viñas at all aspect. Brigiding was just floating around, you wont even look forward to what she'll do in the next episodes.

Actually I agree with you, I think Xilhouette should have won, since the 1st look says opulence, she won that clearly, and 2nd look her outfit is nice as well perfectly constructed I can't say anything bad about it. Were as with minty, 1st look is great but does not say opulence, more of pop star ariana/doja cat kinda thing and only the 2nd look gave her that win.

The judging this episode is very produced. They praise Xil for wearing “big” hair (lmao they should’ve seen lady bunny) while critiqued Precious just because they didn’t see a gown that she mentioned and clearly, the materials aren’t enough. Clearly the production is playing in the episodes to be followed. Us fans don’t need drama, the queens are already serving personality.

They're praising xilo for big hair because it's a new look for her while they critiqued precious for having the same silhouette she have in the 2nd challenge and the color is not really working they lack materials because they don't have budget yet because it's the 1st season
And the judge didn't produce any drama because if you watch rajo you know that he's really harsh in his way of judging
Since they have lesser budget, then maybe the judges could’ve been more considerate since they should know it firsthand. They’re part of production. They could have easily read Xil for wearing the same wig over and over. Yeah I get that her brand is dark but she could’ve style these dark wigs differently. Not just putting on the same style every time

@@renancalara4770 she didn't wear same wig though it look the same because it's black but if you watch carefully you'll see it's different for example the 1st one is a long black wig the second episode is a wavy black wig the 3rd episode is the super long human bundle black wig and after that she changed the color of the hair she went form black to blonde to gray and on the last episode she went to honey blonde wig

That harsh critiques of Rajo Laurel on Eva is unforgivable. There's a thin line between judgement and insult. Calling someone's creation a "trash", "ugly" and "atrocity" is in no way coming from a place of love. (That's his reason why he critiqued that way) Like it's very unnecessary and degrading! Not even a "tough love". They're not seamstress and designers to begin with. They're drag queens! His expectations to the queens is like they're competing for Project Runway like sir, you're in a wrong show. Tbh, The look wasn't bad as he paint out it to be.

im a little bit disappointed with how the challenges are lined up. Another runway/design/look challenge next week? Down to six girls with no acting challenge? Where’s the variety :( I would really enjoy and love to see someone like Viñas whose forte is obviously acting and comedy slay it. Jinx Monsson herself could not have survived this season considering the line up. It’s unfortunate and a lost experience honestly.
