Amazing tank! Thanks for sharing!
Cheers mate
Beautiful tank
great update corals looking stunning, a nice acan blasto garden on the right side will look well
That's the plan 😁 with a couple of zoas to mix up the colours
Beautiful aquarium
Thank you
beautiful my brotha
Thanks man
Interesting video. Loving the new penisula rock for the torch garden. Would really enjoy a video on PAR.
Can’t wait to get my reefer. This is inspirational!
Thanks mate 😁
Wicked tank man! Nice idea in creating that extra ledge for the torches!
Cheers buddy 🙂
What a beautifull display of colors ! ☀️🌴 love your tank mate ! hope that my shallow reef will become as colorful as your
Cheers buddy
your tank looks amazingg
Thank you 🙂
Stay strong brother.
Nice scaping, Love it 😍. Cnt wait to improve my reef😁
Another great update mate and that idea of extending the rock scape, definitely taking that idea to mine for sure, corals are looking incredible and that Raja is incredible, I find in mine the phosphate higher is best and try to aim for 0.14 nitrates are at 3.7ppm pretty low and can't seem to raise them even feeding 4 cube's daily, it's a crazy hobby 👍
Cheers mate, I'm not convinced my 'raja' is actually a raja. It's never developed the distinctive dark ring around the mouths. It's another coral I've paid well over the odds for 🤣, I think it's a sunny side chalice
@@NanoTankReefer looks like a Raja to me mate just make up a name and sell it for £200 a eye and I'm sure they'll sell out 🤣🤣🤣🤣
what a great looking tank very very beautifully 👌
Thanks dude
Great update vid as always Tris. I was going to ask you about the extending of scape. Need to add a bit to mine. If it was my tank ( as you know i wish it was) i would take out the left monti too. Maybe it would be a bit more balanced then. Its still stunning and my fav u tube tank as it is mind.
Hope your life outside the tank gets sorted soon bud. Take it easy and go steady.
Cheers dude, hopefully I should be back to weekly videos now 🙂
Beautiful tank, nice work!
Cheers dude
Looking great 👍
Cheers buddy
Hi, could you do a vid on measuring par?
Just found your Chanel, vary impressed.
Cheers buddy, I covered the par readings of this tank a month or 2 ago. Check out the "my lighting setup" video 🙂
Beautiful! But you need a bigger tank.
Too right I do! Hopefully in the next 12 months I'll have a decent sized upgrade 🤞
Looking good boss.
Cheers Greg 🙂
I hated all my monti's. They just take over like weeds. Glad you pulled it.
They do don't they. They are a great starter SPS but soon become a nuisance
Nice! Looking awesome as always mate! 🙌
Looks great mate. Quick question: how do you feel about mounting torches laterally? Do you always mount yours vertically? I have three torches and the torch I mounted completely vertically is growing rapidly. The other two I have at an angle and they aren’t thriving the same. They are still looking good but nowhere near the same amount of polyp extension. They are all pretty much sat together and in the same par and flow though. What are your thoughts? Thanks
To be honest it's not something I've really considered. I always mount mine vertically, when new heads form they always point upright so I will always stick to vertical
@@NanoTankReefer hmmm ok mate. I might reposition them and see what happens. Do you find yours sulk when they’re splitting? One of them is definitely going from 2 to 4 heads.
@@smokeandkippers I would imagine when they're mounted horizontally the tissue is constantly getting stabbed by the skeleton
Love the changes … although I am a monti cap lover 😂 how do you find the seneye? I struggled with them from a par reader perspective? Absolutely love the colours in this tank man.
Hoping to set a live up soon and you are on my hit list as a guest 😆😆.
Take care dude
Good choice on removing the Monti. I kind of wanted to suggest you move the stuff off the glass but end of the day it’s your tank and you do what you think looks best for you :) thanks for the update
Gonna have a go at a ledge tomorrow. Out of interest which glue do you use? Also which icp you using?
Let me know how you get on dude. I use gorilla glue gel and Triton ICP tests
I love your tank. I've been looking at how to add more to my scape. What kind of epoxy do you put over the glue to make it stronger??
I use D-D aquascape epoxy 🙂
would like to see the seneye and see if its worth picking one up
If all goes well that should be next week's video 🙂
👌
Great update mate. What type of glue do you use?
I forgot to mention that 🤦♂️ I use gorilla glue gel (green top)
Nice one cheers I was never sure if standard glue was ok to use in reefs
The gel is the perfect viscosity for gluing corals and rocks, plus it's cheap and easy to pick up from the supermarket
👍
how many wave maker do you use, 4 or 5?...do you dose redsea ABCD trace element?
3 wavemakers and 1 gyre. I'm dosing Triton core 7 buddy 🙂
Which digi has more of an orange look the bubble gum or forest fire ?
Can you share how much Tin have you got on your ICP test, I’m having Tin too I just wanna see if tin is effecting your corals.
12ppb buddy. No effect on the corals but I plan on doing a few waterchanges to remove
@@NanoTankReefer thanks for sharing that buddy, I’ve been battling Tin for over a year and I don’t know the source I changed everything but still have it now it’s 11 ppb it use to be 22 ppb I don’t see the effect on corals now. Please let us know the source of tin once you find it good luck, I like your channel keep on going. 🙏
Thanks buddy, I'll keep you posted
what temperature is it in your region? trying to figure out if fans will work for me since i don't wanna get a chiller lol.
temperature in my country is usually 28-30°C
20-25 in the summer and alot colder on the winter
I would probably look into a chiller
@@NanoTankReefer yeah, you're probably right. thanks for the help
Would like to see par levels on your tank
Hopefully this will be up next week dude
what lamps do you have in your tank apart from ghL
4x ATI blue plus T5 bulbs 🙂
thats crazy, you paid next to nothing for that torch, we have the growing of the coast of australia and that piece would cost 1500 at a lfs with 8 heads. i think our LFS are pulling our leg with the stupid prices.
It's an Indonesian torch so the price is alot lower than the Australian equivalent
Subscribed‼️still making videos??
Frag rack
Md Tank.
Is that you?
@md_tank?
MD Fish Tanks? No not me buddy
do the seneye
Will do
I prefer montis a bit lower down
Beautiful tank
Thank you 🙂
