    I just wish that our government officials in the Philippines should also start to do more to help out also to make the rest of the country as modern and improve society as Luzon.Philippines does not ,should not represent Luzon only but the Entire Archipelago.You can brag how nice, how beautiful one certain island if the other parts of the country are left behind and still struggling does not define the true unified country specially being a Filipino who are well known for its hospitality and kindness.Just observe those more advance countries already like Europe,Japan, South Korea. Their entire country are well look after ,modernized already and most its people living in a comfortable life, while The Philippines ??? Death sentence to those corrupt goverment officials. Education and Free Medical Care should be a priority for its people. Report immediately and zero tolerance to those who breaks the law.May God bless the Philippines and continue to improve its economy and the life of its own people. Mabuhay ang mga Pilipino!!! Magkaisa tungo sa maganda ,matiwasay na pamumuhay at batas na umiiral para sa ikakaunlad ng buong Bansang Pilipinas. :)

    Awesome. But out of this tall buildings are people still living in a sub standard condition. Philippines is no longer poor country but developing. The Duterte administration should push for a Federal form of Government for equal distributions of wealth to places in the provinces. And other cities in the Philippines will be at par with that in Metro Manila.

    I absolutely agree that building is going on everywhere and an expansion is certainly taking place. I do see it far more in the Cities than in the provinces. Philippines economy is rising fast and as long as the money is spent in the right areas then big things are ahead for the Philippines. They need to spend a lot on infrastructure and that will help many different facets of the Philippines in it's rise. Look out World the Philippines is waking! :)

      I so agree with you about the hidden or God blessed treasure of our country. The problem is, for soooooo many years,Filipinos have placed or voted the wrong leader to lead our nation.Lucky right now, President Duterte is the chosen One for the next 6 years but after his presidency or leadership, Who is next? ,that can lead The Philipines to the right direction of true modernized, uncorrupted nation? How sure or guaranteed every filipinos that the next leader of the Philippines is as good or better than President Duterte now ?I left Philippines about 30 years ago ,when I was teenager and by far,of all the Presidents ,I 've heard or seen handled the country to only made themselves wealthier or their cabinet members ,if not all .Panawagan ko na lang po sa lahat ng mga kapwa ko Pilipino, Huwag ibenta ang boto ninyo.Piliin ang nakakarapatdapat na tao na manumuno ng bansa natin, Otherwise ,lahat ng yaman ng bansa natin, ang makikinabang lang ay yong mga sakim sa pera at kapangyarihan.

      Joseph Villafuerte Cebu city my city needs mass public transport badly.
      Traffic is getting worse than ever and we have to wait very loooong to get even a decent BRT or LRT to get implemented.
      Yet they only concentrate on such actual progress at Manila.
      You want Manila depopulated? Then give all provinces these same privileges to develop cities.

    • @aglayamajorem9546
      @aglayamajorem9546 6 лет назад

      R Galgo A single politician can't change the entire 7,1007 islands. What's Duterte when in Cebu we have an incompetent, shady mayor like Osmeña who isn't as efficient in running the city like the president? Cebu should pick better local government.

    • @josephvillafuerte4970
      @josephvillafuerte4970 6 лет назад

      Philemona Myshkin hello, I'm not from Cebu so I don't have first hand experience on what's happening on your province. But I have info that the current city admin has been pushing the existence of BRT for a long time but the said project receives constant opposition. Tho, i guess the project is now receiving a decent amount of budget.
      not sure if Cebu wants LRT ASAP. LRT might not be realized until 2025 at least

    I used to question the indifference of the media and humanity on a larger scale toward the Filipino people no matter how much kindness, generosity, or hospitality this group of brown skinned children, rich or poor, show their fellowmen. Now, I am starting to understand why the country's colonial masters were very successful at erasing the true identity of the Filipino people in the effort to shield God's given wealth or resources to His children from thieves and robbers. In due time, Filipinos will experience the long-awaited benefits for staying true to their faith, hardwork, and above all, showing love of humanity. The current development of the Philippines is a good sign, and it is highly recommended that critics stay patiently as change for the better does not happen overnight. The confidence of the people to their current administration is required for all the projects to be launched and implemented. So, stay optimistic as all the filipinos will be blessed by Him.

    Slums lang talaga ang nakakapangit sa metro manila. Napakadaming magagandang buildings, pero sa gilid gilid madami mga informal settlers. Sana marelocate sila sa kalapit na probinsya or de kaya gumawa ng parang tenement para sa kanila at maging mahigpit na talaga sa informal settlers. Mahirap, pero kapag nagkaisa kaya.

    8 things that i wish Philippines would improve is
    1.Pollution
    Sana i prioritize yan ng government. At kung kailangan sana manakot na si duterte tungkol sa bagay na to. di na biro yung mga kalat. Dahil dito madaming drainage ang nag babara kaya madalas mag baha dito satin.
    2.poverty and slums. Ang daming informal settlers lalo na sa manila. Alam ko di madali peros ana ma i relocate na sila para naman malinis at maayos ang bansa natin.
    3.Salary. sana yung blue collar workers mas tumaas pa yung mga sweldo. Hindi lang sa mga pulis at teachers pati lahat. Para di na mag ibang bansa pa.
    4. Transportation, kung manonood lang kayo ng vlogs tungkol dito sa pilipinas ma aamaze kayo kung gano kaganda ang pilipinas. Our country has some of the most beautiful beaches. At ang ibang banyaga hindi aware dun kasi tagong tago ang mga ito. Isa na dun yung lack of transportation. Yung iba na nag ta travel sa bansa natin nahihirapan dahil hindi ganon ka accessible ang ilan sa mga tourist attraction. Kaya sana mag focus sila dito kase malaki din ang na e earn ng bansa pag mas improved yung tourism.
    5. Tourism. Ayun nga katulad ng sinasabi ko. Our country is a beautiful country na kailangan din mapansin ng ilan. Kaya sana mag focus din yung government natin dito :)
    6.Equality
    Equality kasi mas nag fo focus and government sa manila. May mga rural areas na kailangan din ng improvement. Hindi sa paraan na gawin itong city or what. Simple things like fixing the roads and buildings bridges. Kahit isang major city lang ang meron sa luzon visayas and mindanao okay na yun. Para equal ang biodiversity.
    7. Corruption.
    Alam naman natin na madaming corrupt sa bansa. Sana sa panahon ni duterte maubos na tong mga to.
    8.Crime and drugs.
    Rape, pag nanakaw at drugs. As well as yung mga pulis na umaabuso sa kapangyarihan nila. Sana ma lessen na.

    Its a wishful thinking to make the entire Metro Manila like these CBDs but I am keeping my fingers crossed. That's why it is also an economic position to federalize and push development to the countryside to mitigate urban migration and poverty. Metro Manila CBD's will not be hurt by it but rather the provinces will receive a trickle down of that development. That would be better I think.

    Kingtot Pogs, excellent job on showcasing the Philippines national progress and economic development, and keep doing it in spite of the critics who will always bring up the negatives in anything. The poor, squatters, and "dirts" are part of life, and they will be addressed in due time (if anyone wants to see the problems of the country, there are appropriate videos of those on RUclips, but it would be travesty if the good things happening in the country are not showcased). Even in a first world country like the U.S., no one can deny the increasing number of homelessness and poor families who cannot even afford decent meals; nevertheless, unoccupied lands are being used as dumping grounds for all sorts of trash (e.g. deserts in Coachella Valley in Riverside County, California). These problems are apparent worldwide and anyone who claims otherwise is just blinded of the truth. Progress and development geared toward infrastructures is one of the best way to affect prosperity in any nation; hence, Philippines is moving in that direction. All stakeholders out there would want to see the efforts of the Philippine government to show them why it is worth investing their money on the country, and this video of yours is one way to show the world "this is the Philippines now!" Thanks, and have a nice day! :)

    Sure there are improvements in the country. Recent statistics however has shown that we are again lagging behind in relation to comparable Asean economies like Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. Vietnam will soon surpass us. As economists observed, our main problem is governance. We are so bogged down with politics and less attention is given to our major problem: The economy. Presently we have high inflation, the weakest currency in Asia. Our stock market is depressed. Foreign investors leaving. When are our leaders going to wake up. Our policies are not conducive to doing business in the country. The private sector can not do it alone. The initiative of the Pinoy and Pinay working hard and trying to live under difficult circumstances are not enough. We Need smart innovative leaders. That we do not have.

There are way more important factors such as Education / Healthcare / Poverty / GDP per capita / Tourism / Technology / Manufacturing / Economy / HDI / Safety and much more.... Countries like Finland and Sweden have WORSE skyline than the Philippine.

    I only wish that Philippines become more clean and no longer have too much price hike in gasoline and any other taxes. Good accommodation for all the people that no longer have to built houses beside train rails and near the rivers with such a small house overlycrowded room. Upon all those i mention which i find negative the joy that people brings in the Philippines can never be replaced regardless of miserable system and environment created by negligence and greed from the past.

    I amnot sure if this video is trying to be sarcastic or what. Metro Manila definitely resembles first world countries in places like Makati and other very developed areas. But it still has a lot of slums and poor people all over. If you travel the entirety of the Philippines - visit all the provinces and towns, most of those places are no where near resemble Makati or Fort Bonifacio. I love the Philippines and proud to be of Filipino heritage, but not fooling myself into thinking the Philippines is as developed as Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, or South Korea. Maybe in time it will be, but that will require a massive reduction in corruption within the government. Right now, the Philippines is rich in culture and natural wonders, but not economically compared to most other more developed Asian countries.

      rjhemedes ...Thank you for that wonderful comment and sorry if it seems like a sarcastic to you but it's not. I just want to show that Philippines is not that poor like media is always showing on the news.... if I showed shanty areas with the title of the New Industralized Philippines or I just entitled this video as the "Poor Philippines" showing high rises buildings and modern cities, then that's a sarcasm..

      rjhemedes Do you even know whats the meaning of Developing Country huh? If you want to blame someone on the millions of filipinos living in poor areas in our country blame all the previous administration... We wouldn't end up like this if only the previous admin did their job honestly... I know that your not blaming someone sir but the way you speak is quite unpleasing to read when we know that your also a filipino speaking trash about our country..
      Yeah we are not as much as developed as other country is but there is a future for us.. You can tell by the thousands of facts on the news that more and more infrastructure are coming.. We all know that Prosperity cannot be achieved in only a day, month, or year.. Prosperity can only be achieved in decades or centuries of hardwork, good governance, Non stop infrastructure, and law abiding citizens...

      Stupid Internet Bashers But who voted those from previous admin? It's the damn people right? The government only reflects the choice and mentality of our average population.
      When are people going to stop voting celebrities in local governments? Or rich oligarch dynasties who obviously do not relate to the plight of the poor?
      Where are all the decent, competent educated middle class/poor running in office? Why can't we enjoy absolute clean governance in all municipalities once and for all? Duterte is just one man surrounded by wolves. So where are the like-minded candidates at?

    • @stupidinternetbashers5199
      @stupidinternetbashers5199 6 лет назад +2

      Philemona Myshkin I don't like the way you blame our people for voting some random candidate.. I'll ask you a question.. CAN you really blame them huh?!!! They only just want to survive in everyday problems and struggle in their life.. They don't have work because there's little infrastructure building back then and when you don't have work you don't have money right? So they don't have a choice but to obey.. The rules back then is OBEY or you'll starve and die.. And even if you accept it or not that's the world we live in up until now.. Many people suffer from that rule that's why some people are tempted to do something stupid even if its cost their life, pride, dignity and even vote for those unworthy candidate as long as that candidate gives more benefits than the other candidate.. And we all know that those people who has great wealth can control others... That's the sad reality sir..
      That's why our government now encourages us fellow filipino to help them fight against corruption right? By using Social Media?!!.. Expose those people who are using money to control others.. My point is this, Why blame our people in the past on what they are doing when they're only doing it to survive?.. If you want to BLAME Someone blame those oligarchs who are using money to control others.
      And now I can see a bright future for us all.. As long as many of our fellow filipino is keeping an eye of our government, I know that we can achieve prosperity in our country in many years to come... So be patient sir!!! Trust our fellow filipinos who are watching the government right now..
