I'm struggling to find a word that is not " impressive,"as most people are saying it is . The only word I can think of is " monumental " because when this project is up and running, it certainly will be one very "impressive monument " to you all. Thanks, Andy, for taking us along with you.
Now bear with me for some basic math here.. Bigger milking facility=more cows. Feed more cows=more land. More land=more equipment running. More equipment running+more maintenance = new big badass shop set up right for a very talented mechanic and crop guy. It all works out in my head lol
I’m from Green Lake Wisconsin near where you bought that 8320 R planting tractor. Hope to get out by you I’m 70 years old (like ur Father) but I’m a retired farmer
That big circle structure In the parlor is where the cows will walk onto then? I'm curious to see what this place is gonna look like when it's finished, truly is amazing work, expansion is coming along great Andy, thanks for sharing
Can't be this company's first rodeo. The company that you manage has its fingers all over your community if you consider your purchase's to keep this organization a float.
Hey There Hollywood, Happy Father's Day! I'm curious as to why your roofs are all different colors? It looks like your new buildings' roofs are white, while most of the others are darker, maybe a gray or something else? I like to see people making and spending money, which beats giving it all to Uncle $am! I hope you have a good one! "Nothing Runs Like A Deere" 🦌 👍 🇺🇲
Your contractors are hard at work Andy. I used to be heavilky involved with one of Australia's largest steel farm shed companies in the early 2000's. I notice your parlor has steel posts with clear span but using I beam columns. I see the cow barn area is all wood, which may be cheaper than steel in unit price but steel sheds require 2/3rds less material in terms of colmns and rafters. Sizes using galvanised steel C-channel can span up to 30 meters, have bays up to 9m, lengths up to 200 meters, and eave heights up to 9m. Just saying for future reference as I've no involvement in the steel business any more.
My son worked for Jerry a number of years ago. It was the first and only vacuum bulk tank I had ever seen. Will the mixer wagon have to be backed down to feed the one side or use the crossover to drive down??
Does the speed and rotational direction of the parlor, have to be synchronized with the speed and rotation of the earth, so the cows don't get dizzy?!?! (Ha!Ha!)(just kidding!) I bet those guys were whizzes with their Lincoln Logs, Tinker Toys, and Erector sets when they were kids.
In a Livestream a few days ago someone asked if you were the biggest dairy farm in your area you said "i don't think so" are you sure?? WOW that's going to be awesome!!
Do you have problems with your neighbors here in Wisconsin they try and stop the mega farms and they come up with the stupidest reasons why here in wis. We lost more small farms then a mega farm could ever replace its sad as I grew up on a dairy farm we milked just over 100 head and it just got to populated the land became worth way more then farming

I’m picturing the state and county tax guys rubbing their grubby hands together watching this video. 😂 They want to steal your milk money.
Awesome Andy! That should be pretty handy for your hoof trimmer to have a dedicated area like that
Pretty wild, huge barn. Thank you for the video tour.
That's quite a project, Andy. It's great to see your family owned operation expanding.
That is tremendous Andy. I love farm construction videos! Fantastic progress

I wasn't at Byrne Dairy when Peter's put theirs in, so it's neat to see it all come together. Keep up the good work.
And here I am, with my 60 cows..😂
Mind boggling very impressive expansion
Great progress Andy! I look forward to more developments!
Very large explanation will be great for the farm best for luck have a great day 👍🏻🇺🇲
I remember when my rotary was in that stage it didn’t take long after they put the walls. Things started happening quick.
That's cool Andy I messed with my uncle Jack every chance I had.🤣😂🤣😂. Miss him Korean vet.👍👍
Awesome update... Have you thought about putting solar panels up on the barns.
Fantastic development young man, very impressive indeed!
Looks great Andy! I'm curious what your dad thinks of this? Did he ever see the farm getting this big? He must be proud!
Great update on the project 👍🚜
Awesome video!! Good luck with the project!
Nice progress. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the update Andy .
A massive undertaking.
I've seen one other Dairy Farm in NY with a circle parlor.
Yours sure looks a whole lot bigger.
Dang that looks amazing. I still think you need a bigger shop but that doesn’t directly pay the bills or grow the farm.
Is that a cowrosel or a mooie go round? Looks fantastic, Andy. You are setting up for another 20 years and the next generation of Hourigan's.👍👍
Another good one Andy 🐄🇺🇲👍
Thanks for the update. It appears it’ll be nice when it’s done
Looks great it is really moving along
That big circle structure In the parlor is where the cows will walk onto then? I'm curious to see what this place is gonna look like when it's finished, truly is amazing work, expansion is coming along great Andy, thanks for sharing
Yes that’s the inner part of the circle
Congratulations , things are coming together , amazing what is happening, well deserved , enjoy , a lot of work, stay safe everyone.
Hi Andy thanks for the grant video big job
Andy my uncle built the first dairy go round Palor in Trumansburg New York in 1973 its was only a 8 stall unit
Great content Andy thanks
I feel sorry for the people that have to retrain the cows to the new milking area
Thanks for the update Andy
Really like the video updates of the expansion
Wow! Really enjoy these videos!
That's going to make you a nice setup there andy
I love all your videos Andy.
You have a Fantastic looking farm
Very nice
Great video Andy
Thanks for the update.😳
Andy, what are all the rows of small objects at the end of the last barn?
Calf hutches
Great video. The new addition is going to be awesome.
Awesome 💯
Can't wait for an inside tour 😊
Cheers Andy

I'm without words!
Wow I can’t begin to imagine how much this project is going to cost
Is the dairy at the back of the property (green and white buildings) still operating?
No it’s not
We have a local dairy farm that the carousel floats on water pretty cool set up
that is quite a project

Roofs discolor in time
@@FarmingFixingFabricating I see, they all started out white.
Are we going to see it finished it looks great
Happy fathers day Andy
Canada called and they want their trees back 😅 Man that’s a lot of lumber 🪵
How long will those wooden posts last for before they rot at the base?
Your contractors are hard at work Andy. I used to be heavilky involved with one of Australia's largest steel farm shed companies in the early 2000's.

Yes I’m aware of all that
Where are you moving your bulk tanks to?
My son worked for Jerry a number of years ago. It was the first and only vacuum bulk tank I had ever seen.
Will the mixer wagon have to be backed down to feed the one side or use the crossover to drive down??
How many TONS of concrete!!!!!
Good job Andy

How many cows are y’all milking currently. Once the parlor is built how many will you go too?
Will you be having an Open House. Looks like it would be worth a good road trip
Is this going to be a robotic rotary
Andy, are many dairy farms in your state using methane digesters for the manure?
Coming together.
How many head carousel will it be ?
Excellent!!
I was wondering who the General Contractor is… that is doing the entire project?
Complete Dairy Services
In a Livestream a few days ago someone asked if you were the biggest dairy farm in your area you said "i don't think so" are you sure?? WOW that's going to be awesome!!
With so many cows, will you use your milking parlor and carosel to milk all of them?
Once the carousel parlor gets up and going we will milk all of them in the new parlor
HOW MANY COWS TOTAL WHEN DONE WITH EXPANSION ?
Andy ,what are those white box things lined up in the back there ?
Calf hutches
Exciting times
Will it take fewer amigos to milk with a rotary than your current system?
Andy from one end of the new barn to the other end how long is this new barn going to be ?? Thank you
I think 950
@@FarmingFixingFabricating Thank you Andy keep the videos coming they are great !!
