Cool vid, I'm collecting emulated retro handhelds for the last two years, and also I own few with old phones with controllers that connect to them that can emulate up to switch. I own a PS3 and PS4 a switch and some older handhelds a few gaming laptops no older than 3 years a gaming pc and two mini pcs that I used to emulate up to PS3 and switch as well as the vita and 3ds. The only thing I have not own yet is vita PS5 and Xbox consoles or 4k TV, so pretty good on the retro stuff with still some head way for modern gaming.
@@goth-wife I got a gaming laptop that has a CPU the AMD ryzen 7 u 8core variant I can't remember, RTX 3060 TI 8 gigs on board for the graphic card,32 gigs ram of the OS On Windows it runs better but I've got to work on Linux but it not as good on performance. stand-alone emulations and a few front ends like retrobat on Windows.I also use batocera on my mini PC has 32 gigs of RAM it's a Intel nuc 12 the i5 12 core CPU onboard graphic chip the Intel arc Iris XE not sure what variant.
Congrats for the video, I have similar setup in a lenovo m910q, the ps3 is not great... you mind testing in yours specifically ps3 with your setup? I'm not convinced it will work smoothly in all games :)
I've been following Killer Arcade Games who has been trying to build a full MAME setup with a CRT and it's been a nightmare waiting on parts. Apparently windows doesn't want to play nice with a CRT without alot of work.
How do you set it up to play all those emulators and how do you set it up to play all those emulators like what is there a tutorial guide on how to do it
finally, someone understands. I have a Mini PC (Lenovo ThinkCentre M900 Tiny) and with its specs, it can emulate mostly everything, even Wii U and Switch at 30-45fps or 60fps. (Discarding Wii and PS3 as I already own those) It's mostly playable and affordable.
Is there an advantage to repurposing a low spec PC over running emulators on a modern PC or booting into Batocera using one? I did something similar to this with a Pi and later a small form factor Lenovo but other than the convenience I didn’t get much out of it. I have FPGA for older consoles and stuff like PCSX2 and Dolphin cover the rest. I tend to get better results with those than I did with the Lenovo.
The big advantage here is price, our gaming PC's range from 1K on the low end to 2500 on the high end. He wanted something that was small and cheap and would look like it belonged next to the other mini consoles. More a matter of how cheap can you go and still emulate everything (so far).

@@cprcprcpr so far I can blow up ANYTHING to 4k without issues. I tend to keep things in the original aspect ratio tho.

Just use a modded Wii, it's way easier.

Do you have an install video of all the emulators?
They are actually all pre-installed via Batocera.

All the work is done for you, just copy the roms into the rom folder in each emulator and you're good to go.

We have both so I didn't try any here, but I will add these up with the PS3 and see how it handles it. Should be interesting.
