Honestly I was planning on getting the retrousb avs. It seems like a very good option for playing nes games in proper HD and while the games on the nes interest me less overall compared to the snes I am definitely interested in having a decent but smaller collection of physical cartridges for the console. So the retrousb avs is pretty much the only realistic option for me to get
I was interested in the burlesque game for my wife, as she is a fan of the 20s, burlesque and a good mystery, and nice short games that do not require combat or complex controls.
Watching the Blaster Master segment, have me flashbacks of when I was a kid and I remembered how special these games were at the time, Blaster Master was so weird but at the same time it was amazing
I just made a video about my collection and now I have so many ideas on what I need to add. I remember not liking wave race, but now I'm gonna give it another look! Loved the top 100 part.
Aaah, I thought this was a revisit to the systems you've talked about in the past, but I realize that it's just a combo-edit of all the Nintendo vidoes! Great still, but my heart stopped for a minute haha! Looking forward to the next series of RGB-videos!
I loved my SGB back when I was 14. My favorite game on it was Metroit II: Return of Samus. I also loved the Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. Bionic Commando was another great hit.
My brother has one of the starfox carts from SSW, he worked at a dept store in kentucky and took it home after the competition was over. They were supposed to get sent back to nintendo afterwards. They are not even supposed to be in circulation.
The 3D glasses aren't working for you as you say at 8:40 because Nintendo being Nintendo means their red/blue glasses actually need to be blue/red. Blue over the left eye, red over the right eye.
I owned James Bond 007 on the game boy. I liked it, was a cool little game lol I always thought it felt more like a Metal Gear game instead of Zelda since you also fight a ‘’metal gear” mech at the end lol
Rygar on NES is definitely one of my top 3 of all time, however the arcade version is the reason I got the bug. That and Rastan with the whole barbarian them is great. There's another game I can't remember the name of it was like swords and magic or something similar I can't ever find it online I wish I knew what it was my name cabinet is in dire need if emulating it.
For some reason every single ad on this video for me was a Prager U ad promoting buying gold. I don't normally ever watch Prager U or get ads from them or about gold so it's weird there is something in this video that makes the ad bots think it's an appropriate ad for this video
For the Japanese Super Mario 3 artwork it kind of honestly looks like Bowser is wearing an armor and that "eyeball" is probably some sort of jewel.. The cape would make sense if it was attached to armor. If you look towards where his shoulders are, they look like pads.. and then some sort of spiked neck lining, probably attached to the cape.. Idk lol.. Honestly it looks pretty sick though regardless.

[Try4ce] Definitely. It's a pretty high priority actually, but we want to finish Analog Frontiers (two more parts to go, should finish by the end of summer) before we resume RGB 200 (console specific) episodes.
I can recall 3 games that I played all the way through to completion: Original Super Mario Bros., Ocarina of Time when I was 17 and Resistance: Fall of Man on PS3 (launch model from Dec, 2006 which I tossed when it stopped working and regret) when I was in my early 20s and sick for 4 or 5 straight days. Thanks for this. I had a lot of NES games and several original Gameboy games (one of the few things from my childhood that I still own). I kept getting NES games for holidays/birthdays well in to the 90s and owned a lot of the games on this list.
Long long long time ago I bought a game console at the mall kiosk, it was called Power Play Joy III. It suppose to have thousands of games, but not really, however, it did have the games I wanted. The problem is that I need an old tv for it to play, and that sucks.
The different products have VERY different use cases. We don’t hear as much about Replicades and Quarter Arcades because most of the content creators are focused on building a “Home Arcade” and most people see that as a different thing from a “miniature arcade” or diorama or “desk ‘stuf’”… That job, of creating an actual life size arcade in your home, is where Arcade1Up is King. They are the ONLY company creating 3:4 scale arcade machines that actually look like the original, so if you want multiple machines in your home, it really is all about A1U unless and until you are ready to deal with a commercial machine. For me, it was only AFTER getting set up initially with enough A1U machines to give my game room the right vibe that the Replicades became my new favorite. I’m not sure I’d recommend that as a starting place for most people since the list of games actually available for sale at any moment is fairly limited. Right now you can get 1942 that has the HDMI port and extra controller on sale…And the only other game currently in stock is Missile Command-which is brilliant, but doesn’t have HDMI out and instead has the CRT Fx filter which means it’s not for everyone. Let me encourage you, however, to check out the Quarter Arcades from Numskull. although they are a bit pricey and don’t have quite all the same extra features as a Replicade, Numskull has done an excellent job of maintaining the same attention to detail we’ve come to expect from NWT to create Quarterscale machines that directly match the originals. I picked up Dig Dug from Amazon and found that American Girl (yes the doll company) has Pac Man available at retail price along with the Polybius charging machine and there is something very special about being able to hold such an authentic replica of classic cabinets in your hand. The gameplay on these older titles is such that they are perfectly playable at scale and, unlike what you might find from other companies, it uses the original arcade ROM for a truly authentic experience. Give me a try, I think that like me, NWT will still be your favorite, but particularly for titles like Pac Man, Numskull Quarter Arcades can be the BEST way to recapture nostalgia and place it on a shelf. 🎉
PilotWings needs to go back the Military aspect that made the SNES version awesome! Didnt like what they did with it once it hit the 64, and since then I havent played any iteration of it. Take it back to that era it will be greatness again.
I wonder how the 3D effect would look at 60fps. Each image would be at 30fps which I imagine (could) look half decent if it's even possible. Maybe it could go even higher.
