    Very nice! Koshirae is in very good shape and the polish looks beautiful. The pic of the hamon was great, showing some complexity in the application.

    I really like the idea of a book about the sword to accompany it.

    Excellent showcase of a true nihonto wakizashi, man. So knowledgeable on the terms. That polish is gorgeous.

    Just gotta say that, while I found you through Let's Talk Resident Evil, I genuinely enjoy seeing even your historic videos with you and your possessions and stories! It's very awesome to see you putting up these little things that mean so much to you, because it feels like we're really getting to know you! I hope you and your son are doing well!!

    Also it would be really awesome if you reacted to videos from Albert Wesker in other resident evil games

    • @PabloKuntz
      @PabloKuntz  2 года назад +2

      Thanks for this. When you say reacted to videos, what exactly do you mean? Do you mean re-enact?

    • @lynxregions6724
      @lynxregions6724 2 года назад +1

      @@PabloKuntz what I mean of reacting to the videos. is just watching them and what you think of the other Wesker voices and your opinion on how far wesker’s characters has evolved throughout the resident evil franchise so you don’t have to re-enact the scenes just watch it if that makes sense
      Keep up the great work Pablo

    I'm curious to know, do you experience any difficulties with sourcing & importing these items, being as they are both legit useable weapons & museum pieces? It can't be as straightforward as the other artisan crafts after all. Is it considered similar to antiques dealing?

    • @PabloKuntz
      @PabloKuntz  2 года назад +1

      We source the swords primarily in Japan through a network of contacts - it is always a challenge to find special and unique pieces to offer clients, but we do our best. Importing into the UK is fairly straightforward if the object is over 100 years and forged by traditional methods, then it is treated as an antique object of art (HS Code 9706.00). If the sword was mass-made with no artistic merit then it is only a weapon and would face much greater scrutiny at customs, and rightfully so.

    • @emmaevans9498
      @emmaevans9498 2 года назад +1

      @@PabloKuntz ah right, I understand now. It's viewed as antique art, if you like, a decor item, so it falls under specific regulations. Thanks for taking the time to answer, sorry to sound nosey, I was just interested in how it works! Love your content, keep it up! 👍

    It's a shame that some collectors don't rate Bungo swords, and refer to the makers as country smiths.
    I think Bungo swords are beautiful and on a par with Hizen blades.

    • @PabloKuntz
      @PabloKuntz  2 года назад +1

      True Bungo doesn't get quite the love as Hizen, but they are dependable blades indeed and often overlooked.
