If you don't understand you can just watch her first videos. Part 1 and 2 and just slow it down. Just go into the video settings and then playback speed. Change the playback speed to a speed lower than normal like .5. Hope this helps. Praise the Lord!!! Jesus is worthy to be praised!!!
Thank You!!!!! I am a church piano, bass, and drum player at my church, but I never learned how to play. I noticed that you used your dominant hand to hold it. But for some strange reason, my left hand feels more natural. Thank you for the tips. And as a musician, it is very critical that you play with the beat and time it correctly. Thank you once again!!
I play middle eastern drums and am just starting to get to grips with the tambourine/riq. Great fun playing along with you. Subscribed, and best wishes.
Hello my young Sister in Christ.😉❤️🙏🏾 This 57 year old Mother in a COGIC church was watchin’ you when you didn’t have but the ‘box top’. I always remembered your skill and came back. Your probably the best young person that actually plays it as an actual ‘PRAISE INSTRUMENT’ instead of beating it so hard that it don’t even sound coherent with the beat. They just beating it hard. I am somewhat dangerous and more comfortable with a ‘headless’ tambourine but only decent’ with a ‘headed’ type. Question: As far as sound do you prefer single row to double row? I have an 8 & 10 with double row and just pulled them out again to try my hand at them. Just thought I’d get your perspective. I’m going to keep studying your hands though.
Hey sis, thank you so much & I’m glad my video could help. I personally prefer a single row tambourine. The double rows are too thick for me. Keep practicing!! You got it!!
I think I’m will invest in a single row then because I think that maybe part of my problem now that you’ve mentioned the ‘thickness’. I find it difficult to hold because it’s also a bit heavier and since it’s ‘headed’ I can’t seem to be a fluid in my wrist. Thank you. You keeping playing and posting (when time allows of course) and this Mother will keep watching and practicing. Stay in GOD’s Path.🙏🏾❤️❤️🙏🏾
@@marieclinton4117 yes ma’am, I would definitely recommend a 8 inch or even a 6 inch single row tambourine. The smaller the better. Thank you so much for the encouraging words! I will definitely keep the tambourine videos coming.
Hello, we'd like to start including someone playing the tambourine during our church service. Do you suggest us getting the same one your using in this video? If so, what is the name of it? Or if you suggest another one, please share the name of that one as well. Thank you.
Thanks for the video!question, is the a preference for you having a smaller tambourine? I wanted to get a smaller one because I’m affraid the 10” is too big but idk 🤔 🧐

You should try an 8 inch tambourine.

Do u have the link to order the type of tambourine u are playing in this video 😊
I was born in a holiness church and this is not how we play our tambourine we play it with the palm of our hands but we do in the same motion!
You play so effortlessly! I want to learn and your video makes it look so easy! Lol but how long have you been playing if you don’t mind me asking?
Thank you so much! 🤍 keep practicing & you’ll get it. I started playing in 2019.
How or what can I use to protect my hand with a small tambourine??
I’m sorry, but I don’t think there’s anything you could use to protect your hand when using a small tambourine.
Nice
