Inque must have thought they had this in the bag until Conspiracy came up. That was absolutely astonishing. One of my all time favourite 64kb intros ever, for sure!
I know the commentators have seen a whole load more demos than me but I am speechless. My mind can't even begin to comprehend this stuff. Just breathtaking.
Maybe I do have seen way more demo than you (and at some point tried to make some) but don't worry it is amazing and braethtaking for me too and lot of people (especially when you are watching live in front of the main stage)
When i was 7 years old i had a continuous dream about the machine @ 26:37 ...it came from under the ground and it would come up in my back yard... ...and i never forgot about the dream... ...so yeahhhh.... ...i just thought id mention it... ...oh ....and now i am 48..... ..so yeah... ....hope this unlocks some sorta key to the universe or sumthin.... awesome job all of you! ❤️
My favorites: 1. When Silence Dims The Stars Above 2. Party Gipfeler 3. No 64k, Just 16k 4. Transphosphorylation 5. fr-090: Let be there light 6. iota 7. Attendorn 8. Disassembly
@@lyxar777 I don't know any 64k demo that uses a tracker. Like you say, it's all softsynth and maybe some using of midi instruments within some Windows .dll file and applying some envelopes, like I do. Although there is something that resembles pattern data.
The final executable can be a maximum of 65536 bytes in size and must run on a machine with a stock OS (e.g. Windows with GPU drivers but with no additional SDKs, ...). The OS and libraries that are part of it do not count against the intro's file size. You can read the full rules here: 2018.revision-party.net/compos/pc - Steltek
Sorry to say this but we will most likely not be doing that as the audience reaction is an integral part of the party. In fact, we specifcally set up microphones to capture and mix the on-site audience into the live stream (and thus also the recordings). If you wish to experience the prods themselves in their best form, I recommend looking them up on Pouet or Demozoo and running them natively where possible, or viewing the clean videos referenced there, which often are in higher quality than our live recordings too.
If Im wrong Im gonna feel terrible, but that person introduced at 1.25,.... is that a guy? Looks like a guy wearing make-up and a dress, but with something somewhere between a chest and breasts. Really don't care, but I can't work it out so am curious.

"Party Gipfeler" was really cool. Kinda moved me.
Wow! I'm 0x100th man who likes this video. Now 8 bit is not enough for storing the like value! =)
No 64k, Just 16k was so dang catchy and happy! :D
Превосходно! Все демки восхитительны!
Logicoma won for me. Damn, what a great artstyle.
Conspiracy , WOW! But all of them were good! Really great comp
Awesome ❤
CONSPIRACY !!!
HELLO !!!
;)
64k and RDRII need 116GB unbelievably
amazing - i used to be a musician for a demo group in the nineties :)
Anybody can use a module composer those days ?
With some 64Ks (and especially 32K/16K), they don't use samplebased trackers anymore, but pure softsynths.

...we need to compile Total Disclosure... that will be a good one...
23:03 try to watch this at 0,75x in one go without lookin away :D i got a headache but great track haha
No Processing, Just Revision
Unfortunately we have next to no available upload bandwidth (the streams are eating it all) so the upload is currently stuck at 14%. - Steltek
14:15 "Wielki chuuuuj!!" XD
For some reason I love Attendorn but it doesn't compete in 64k. I bet it could be made to fit in 4k or 8k and would do well in that category.
...is this on 64kb?
Yes, each entry has to fit into a 64 kilobyte size limit. - Steltek
30:06 how?! 64k hehe
Let there be Light @ 9:00
Isn't this what all of this is about?
Ayy finally
poobrain ftw!
Can't wait to see how Poobrain progress. Great talent.
64K in Assembly language, or javascript? And do the OpenGL libraries called count against the 64K limit?

Inque did amazingly, but conspiary just dabbed on them didn't they....
Universe on 64k.....
Enjoyed watching these little beauties, but could you PLEASE filter out the audience next time? It just messes up the experience...

0MG!
Is it 64 KB?
Where are the sources?
