It was probably a publicity/agent decision to not take attention away from Penix Jr. I don’t necessarily agree, but he certainly has shown enough talent in order for teams to make a decision

He showed what he needed to at the combine, looked comfortable in the drills, fast and explosive enough and tape speaks for itself
