Just wondered if this would allow me to use my own design which is text with a square background with text inside the box, if that makes sense? Really appreciated your video. And looking forward to a response.
First you have to remember this is a domestic model, and not made for commercial use. However, yes once you have the design you want to sew, just load the design into the machine via the USB slot and sew it out.

I would recommend the Brother Embroidery thread, its give lovely finish and comes in 300m spools. Make sure it has the Brother logo on it..! www.sewingmachinesales.co.uk/sewingaccessories/thread/brother/
Yes, It has a USB connection. So it is easy to download PES file format designs from the internet and load them in to the machine quickly. You can also customise on screen or create designs using PE Design software if you have it.

Yes, you can get hoops up to 17cm is the largest at this moment.

@@bysumiya The M280D will automatically detect a different size Brother hoop once fitted.

Do you have to change bobbin color while you are working on Embroidery
Usually you would sure a the same bobbin thread colour, black or white for the full embroidery. No need to keep change bobbin thread colour.

Hi, the biggest hoop for this model is 6.7" x 4" or 17cm x 10cm. Other Brother models have larger hoops tho.

the final print wasnt perfect unless the font used was meant to have a weird capital 'M' in MICLKEY which wasn't level with the rest of the word?
