I have a theory that the reason maria ran from a fight when she was a part of fight class 3. Its because her opponent was her brother, who she thought he died in a fire with the rest of her family when jiu ji Taes dad killed them all, and took Maria. or so he thought. but one of Maria's brothers survived. and left to get stronger for revenge and ended up getting surgery like that dude in the tunnel to get stronger then joined vale tudo to meet jiu ji Taes dad. I think this is because of obvious physical similarities shown like skin, eyes, but also because he had a burn. When he was shown he had a burn mark on his right or left shoulder, and it's known that Maria's family died in a fire. None of this is confirmed it's just a theory
Sounds quite plausible. And if she did lose a fight, I wonder who it was. My favourite candidate is Jiu Ji Tae's younger sister. Who knows what kind of person she has become after staying 7+ years with that monster of a father.
I'm pretty sure he'll beat Shim once the school arc begins with the annual competition since Jiu is gonna gain some high battle experience from the fight club. His improvement is on a whole different level. Taken into account that he's still a fresh fighter, if only he trained when he was younger with the help of his father(if only his father didn't abandon him with his sister) then Jiu would defeat Maria. Looking at the series Jiu's improvement has been exponential so the good thing is that even though he started later than everyone from the fight class, he's still a monster, which is an amazing thing since I like OP MC, so even though he's not the strongest or one of the strongest he's getting there at a fast pace. When Jiu returns to school that'll probably gonna be one hell of an arc. Especially the fact that he'll grab the attention of the principal with who is in charge of the fight class 3 then the plot will thicken with the dark stuff that goes on with it like the doctor or something like that.
Also, it's kinda obvious that Jiu will surpass Maria since it was said that Maria workout lift is 340 kg, which is average yet she is rank S-1 they already explained the reason, but the fact that Jiu can have a greater workout lift plus the fact that he will learn/copy Maria's ability will allow him to become stronger plus his body vision and devil's gift just adds on making him nearly invincible for his age group... wish he started when he was young... would've been an absolute beast but ofc a character development is one of the most important factor in a story. I guess it doesn't matter since he'll inevitably become the strongest character since he'll need to confront his father or maybe it'll be a 2v1 with Maria helping him against his father since both have a grudge with him.
@@nathannguyen7449 he seems to have a great deal of talent but his father still choose his sister probably because she has more talent than him the scene where Maria discovers his talent then it has a flash back of Maria kicking the lid off a bottle and getting jiu ju tae to do the same was a good hint since he couldnt kick the lid but the bottle still landed straight showing he has talent but he doesn't have overwhelming talent and a more recent scene when he was in the hospital after getting injured in the tunnel he freaks out and says random things but he says things like I'M SORRY IM SORRY I WAS BORN was probably ptsd of his father beating him when he didn't live up to his expectations
@@whyno9622 yeah I liked his development up till that point he was getting stronger and assertive when he first goes out to fight people On the streets his words stumble and he sounds scared but the second time he knows exactly what to say and doesn't falter which shows he's getting used to it but he's still jiu ji Tae because in the fight where he broke his nose when the guys ask for an apology he breaks character and says "Maria has nothing to do with this if you want an apology ill do it" so he was still normal but after that he goes insane for no reason and his character completely changes would have been fine if they showed a reason for that or if he was acting but he never breaks character and has actually gone insane I hope he changes back soon
Where on that list will the little sister of Jiu Ji Tae be, when she enters the spotlight? I can't wait to see what kind of person she has become after being with her father rafter all this time.
It doesn't make a lot of sense to rate the Class 3 students that we haven't seen fight, they could be just as good as Maria for all we know. Remember, they definitely have more experience fighting those zombies than Maria does. The only ones in the regular Fight Classes that can challenge Jiu Ji-Tae at this point are probably Cha So-Wol and Shim Ha-Min, and they'll almost definitely lose. I don't even think an injury could stop Jiu Ji-Tae in his current form from topping the class next semester. The only wild card is that Jiu Ji-Tae hasn't been able to study Cha So-Wol, since he never watched her fight with Maria, and So-Wol won all of her other fights in a couple seconds.
