YOU HAD INSPIRED ME TO TRAVEL TO KEFALONIA & drive the whole island with a car…!!! myrtos beach was fascinating & all the different beautiful beaches… first I was scared to do it alone but for two weeks I was on my own & I think I will remember a lifetime! Thank you mister ! ❤️
Thank you for continuing to take us on your journeys. Italy still remains closed to many of us until the regime lifts restrictions. I feel for the people of Italy, many of whom are not even allowed to work anymore under these restrictions.
Thanks Gabriel, so wonderful and informative video on Amalfi Coast and this town Matera 😀 ! Have a nice evening ! Greetings from Paris-France ! François
Matera is an interesting destination but the entire Amalfi coast in a day!? Slow down Gabe! I hope you're continuing to the Puglia region next, I highly recommend Ostuni, Lecce and Otranto!
10:58 quite a lovely depicting art inside that church and also cute looking baby sculpture in 11:15 with similar structures behind, I guess it is also a some kind of depiction on something, as they are covered with glass shell.
Thank you for this beautiful video! Love the church bells they are always so peaceful! This video was a much less stressful & costly experience for us, appreciate all your work & time and effort~ Cara 😊
The famous towns are beautiful but pricey. I like the way you take us the journey through the bigger lesser known places. Prices look more favourable there. Italy looks great to travel in. I don’t don’t speak Italian but can understand a little. Food looks amazing. Looking forward to your next videos. Thanks.
Hi Gabriel, What a day for traveling weather was really beautiful this part of Italy is really beautiful quaint small mountain towns. I was wondering can't you just rent a Vespa they should be easy to get with I know you have a few carrying bags which would make it a bit awkward.
Every place in Italy seems better and better. I have been there several times and never tire of it. Just don't get in a hurry as schedules can be easily disrupted without warning by holidays and strikes. Roll with the flow. Enjoy.
A beautiful video of a spectacular part of the world. The church in Positano looked special. Great views/camerawork on the buses & sweet music. Grazie Gabriel
It ' s just amazing😍 what you show us every day from this magnificent parts of Italy, Gabriel. Unreal landscapes are welcome, while going through this troubeled , uncertain times of war. Enjoy each and every village, town , narrow streets , picturesque architecture, beaches, old ruins of the Roman Empire, the colour of the sea..with this sunny days and thank you for sharing .. Amalfi is spectacular.. especially the baroque and neo gotic Dome of Amalfi is a real jewel beyond words.. Best regards from Paris 🖐👍🍀
Just saw the men playing at the end of the video and we saw them last month in Matera! They’re at the start & end of my Matera video too. Good to see they’ve been around for a while.
Great video G, glorious weather. Next trip to Italy I'm going in February! Funny story: that fountain in Amalfi with all the little figurines, I took a couple of photos of it and Facebook kept wanting to tag the photos with members of my family with face recognition.
Thanks for the interesting video! I think, with buses not running, the better route would have been a bus or train to Bari and then a train to Matera from Bari, which arrives in a very cool train station in Matera. Of course, you didn't know about the bus strike, though, so couldn't have known to consider an alternate route.
Hey Gabriel, very nice video my friend. I don't know if I could go to some of the places you go and not stay a week or two or three or two months. I'm just gonna have to bight the bullet in the next year or two and plan a trip to Greece and Italy. My Mom's family is from Italy and Germany, I have done the German side and visited the town of Schimmel Germany. Evidently we were the bad side of the family. I guess that's what you get for marring an Italian. Lol Mom was working on the Italy side of her family when she died and I just can't finish it. 20 years ago I would have set down and finished it for her but the most complicated thing I do on the daily basis is brush my teeth. I'll be looking for your next video. I am really enjoying them.
Notice that the mural is Greek-centric. The mural represents the Greek world. From Naples south to Sicily, the area was known as Mega Grecia because it was part of Greece and the inhabitants were Greek. In fact when in Sicily you should visit some of those small villages where they still speak Greek. I am sure you being to Greece can see the similarity between this area and Greece…
I travel to Italy once a year Gabriel and never been to the Amalfi coast basically because of the price of hotels there 2 or 3 thousands for a 2 week stay is to expensive everywhere else in Italy is quite cheap but Amalfi is expensive so will never go there because of costs.
Any chance you can turn the music down or choose something without lyrics when you don't want to talk? I have to turn it down every time you insert those songs. Have fun
As a North American, I get a kick out of those 'entertainers' who are allowed to come into an establishment unsolicited, whereby you as a diner are more or less obligated to give them some money, whether you like their music or not. Very common in Southern Europe and I remember it in Mexico City too. A way of some local 'musicians' to make a little extra cash I guess. Always seems odd to me. Cultural thing I guess.

God... the Italians (and the French) will never realise that they are shooting themselves in the feet with their strikes. We love both countries, but they cause chaos to their own people and tourists, so selfish and self-destructive. Love your channel ♥️
Wish I could trade places with you so I could pop over to Finland, Poland or Hungary to help out. Just waiting for Mussolini to pop out and tell us everything is rosey. What fucking planet are you people on?
180 Euro for that Room.....wow.....typical Italian , always to expensive what you get for it. I know what I am talking about. Positano is not impressing me at all......!
You know bro. In a world of turmoil, you are a breath of calmness.
Thanks man.
These place is suitable to honeymoon place. So romantic with the beautiful view of coast.

I think south Italy has more to see than north..but generally Italy is beautiful
Really not! In Italy both south and north are full of art and beautiful places

So beautiful of an area. I watch so many vlogs from there I feel like I have been there.
Heaven on earth ❤️ I was wondering if they do air b&b over there? The hotel was expensive.
Great video Gabe of coastal cities in Italy
The next time you are in the Rome area, visit Assisi, about 80 miles ne of Rome. A clean town and a big Church there worth seeing. Laid back city. 🇮🇹

Amalfi coast isn't worth 2 weeks. A day trip or 2 from Sorrento or Salerno should do it.
@@Likkivi yes .
when you put the meal prices in Italy, is it inclusive of tip and "coperto", the seat/bread fee?
Inclusive of everything except the tip.
Some of that music definitely doesn't suit Italy, maybe for backcountry USA
Too bad your in such a hurry you missed many nice spots between amalfi and Salerno.
Any chance you can turn the music down or choose something without lyrics when you don't want to talk? I have to turn it down every time you insert those songs. Have fun
I had a neighbour like you once.
I'll keep it in mind. It can be tricky getting the volume levels right, especially for different devices.

How you pay for the bus ticket, Cash or Card (Tap n Go)?
Cash to the bus driver. A card might be possible but not sure.
i find Europe and North America expensive to travel these days.
There are more than 40 countries in Europe and many of them are affordable and worth visit of course.

music is great but it has zero match with the video. You should put some Mediterranean vibe.
