DAVID JOHNSON, ALSO KNOWN AS THE WORLD FAMOUS BUSHMAN, IS A BUSKER WHO SCARES PASSERS BY ALONG FISHERMAN'S WHARF IN SAN FRANCISCO, ACTIVE SINCE 1980. JOHNSON HIDES MOTIONLESS BEHIND SOME EUCALYPTUS BRANCHES AND WAITS FOR UNSUSPECTING PEOPLE TO WANDER BY. WHEN THEY APPROACH, HE SHAKES THE BUSH TOWARDS THE UNSUSPECTING TOURISTS AND STARTLES THEM, SOMETIMES MAKING GRUFF "OOGAH BOOGAH" NOISES, WHILE IN THE KNOW OBSERVERS GIGGLE. CROWDS GATHER TO WATCH HIM WORK, OFTEN INCLUDING THOSE HE HAS PREVIOUSLY SCARED.
THE BUSHMAN TYPICALLY OPERATES TOWARD THE WESTERN END OF THE WHARF (AT JEFFERSON AND HYDE STREETS OR THEREABOUTS), WELL TO THE WEST OF THE GROTTO. JOHNSON USED TO WORK WITH OR, AT DIFFERENT POINTS IN TIME, AS A RIVAL TO A SECOND BUSHMAN, GREGORY JACOBS, UNTIL THE DEATH OF JACOBS IN 2014.

The only thing you need to hide is your head. If you conceal your head with something, then position yourself so what you used is at the height it would normally be, people will be completely oblivious to your body. Our subconscious is always scanning for eyes, so it's aware of what is and isn't alive, in order to have a constant threat assessment on nearby predators. "No eyes, not alive, not a threat, ignore" is what it says to your conscious mind, and the thing with no eyes gets completely disregarded.

You need to work on your bushman game. You’re basically just hiding around the corner. The reaction you’re getting is the same one you’d get if you were dressed in plain clothes. You want to be the bush they ALREADY SEE then scare them…. Two different types of reaction. Also, you don’t need to include every reaction you get. Only include the good ones. The fact that I am assuming you are already do pick and choose between good ones and bad ones and the fact that most of them seem like pretty poor lame reactions tells me you need to step up your bushman game.
This is why I quit the pranks 😂 I ain’t got it like other people , it’s just not for me .. I haven’t uploaded in over 2 years
@@ArabianGains oh, I had no idea. I’m very sorry. Honestly I think the problem was you just weren’t out in the open enough. Allowing them to accept you as part of the environment, then BAM. In all honesty though, you didn’t really seem very committed to the scaring them aspect of it. You are half-hearted about it. Well, what have transitioned into now then ?
@MW-jm8qb I just went for fun I was trying it out and did so many pranks and fart pranks but I think its just not for me , I didn’t have that energy to prank people .. I just stopped and I’m more focused on growing my business and making money
