They are holding up very well, they have been to Utah, Idaho, Sedona Arizona, and lots of local riding, not a single issue with them, so far I’m super happy with them:-)
Oh my gosh! your right, well, thats not the first time I've done that, but I usually catch it before I ride it, dang it, oh well, thanks for seeing that, now I can flip it around, it should be faster ! have to do that comparison over again :-)
Since making the video, i have been doing trail work and have not ridden that bike again, but looking forward to finishing this trail and getting to riding and making more videos.
The wheels are great but the Hub is rubisch. I had theas wheels for mor then a year. The bearings on the rear hub dident com out. And this was the end for the rear wheel. The front wheel have dt Swiss bearings and is still in use. Best you change the Bearings from the beginning in Dt Swiss and alsow the ratchet system to dt swiss. I broke my ratchet system after 300 km and change to Dt Swiss. The Rim and the spoaks are great.
Thanks for the info, hopefully mine will last longer than your experience with them, I have quite a few bikes I ride so none of them get a lot of miles on them compared to if it was my only bike, fingers crossed!
Great insight. This is the kind of stuff that shows up in budget wheels long after most guys do a one-ride impression video. And confirms what you’d expect. The savings have to come from somewhere. I do have a lot of spare DT hub parts so I think I’ll give these wheels a go with the bearing and ratchet upgrade you mention.
Over a year now of riding, been to Sedona, Idaho, Utah, and up above Mammoth at Twin Lakes, plus my local riding area, wheels still going strong! No complaints!
Elite wheels for an elite rider. Nice! Good weight savings
Oh my bike =) thanks
Rotation direction is backwards? Rear tire
How are they holding up?

The back Dhr 2 is wrong way round 🙂

Oh Yeah! well I checked my 2nd video, (the one after this one) I did notice the rear tire was on the wrong way and corrected it.
How are the hubs holding up do they slip while pedaling under power?
