I think her C4 doesn’t add 25%, it actually only adds 10%. In the description it says, “increased to 25% of her max hp” if it was a flat 25%, it would say increase by 25% of her max hp

Why all forgot about beidou? -30% incoming damage, interrupt ressistance and very good dps against 2+ target. She looks like ideal teammate for arleccino+chevrouse
Because that would mean you'll have to play a second electro just to get her burst, and ditching Bennett will significantly tank Arlecchino's damage. You are basically getting more defense and potential aoe damage for a cost lower fischl's and Arle's damage, Beidou's longer animation times and a straight up team damage loss in single target.
Its kinda like pre-Furina Neuvilette-fischl-kazuha team all over again, where getting a shielder that gets you a third stack like zhongli or kirara is just more convenient than beidou, even though it sounds good in theory
So basically she depends on Bennett circle impact to deal big PP dmg? That's mid
she'll be fine in AoE, but I prefer the single-target from Fischl. Also, like the other commenter said, slotting Beidou will likely be her being solo-Electro, so you'll need a lot of ER on her
Beidou is glued to Fischl for energy, and Arlecchino is glued to Bennett for damage. This forces them into a very underwhelming overload team.
You could play Chevreuse instead of Fischl to take better advantage of overload, but then Beidou is gonna have to build insane ER with Fav and lose most of her damage.

A nice simple to understand guide. Good to see. Of course a lot of things can change but this is helpful for now.
I myself plan to use a team of Alecchino, yelan, lynette, and noelle. Noelle has big shields and an emergency sheild in case arlecchino gets low, yelan for the vaping set up, and i feel just 1 hydro should be enough, lynette has vv swirls, a taunt, and can provide more hydro or pyro as needed with infusion of the burst(plus daddy daughter day). Arlecchino is going to be using my r5 PJWS ive built up over the years which will give her a massive attack buff(42%) plus damage buff so i dont need a teammate buffing att% for her. Should be pretty solid
Stacking beyond the BoL that you'd want for rotational purposes essentially translates into healing or safety net for her so it's going to be a source of stabilized gameplay in the long run, not bad.
Another thing to note with Shimenawa's, even if you can still burst with it, her rotations won't let her use the buff. From what I understand you would open with Arlecchino's skill then rotate through your supports while Blood Debt procs. Then once you come back (after 6s minimum), that's when you do your combo. Since the 10s timer for Shimenawa starts at the beginning of the rotation, she won't benefit unless you change the rotation, but that's suboptimal and a 2pc+2pc would be better.

From what we can see in the beta she is already getting some pretty good QoL boosts and even buffs, it’s kinda interesting since we don’t typically see that this early. Like her solo sustain during the beta has practically been doubled along with BoL stuff likely going from 5.5s to 4s.

I have Staff of Homa, PJWS, and Skyward Spine just sitting there collecting dust (I use staff of Homa on Zhongli sometimes), so I hope I get Arlecchino and use one of those spears on her.

Those will be amazing on her, I don't currently know details on what her best Spears will be but these will definitely be great enough options and I'd recommend using one of them!
Unfortunately though, she has an amazing unique mechanic where her signature weapon, and ONLY her signature weapon, will transform into a scythe with incredible animations.
Other weapons besides the signature will got a golden aura power near the top shaped like a scythe to match her animations, however only her signature will actually undergo a transformation.
Staff Of Homa would watch her aesthetically incredibly well, I'm not sure which of your three 5* spears will be best on her but Homa Aesthetically will look so good on her!

her animations look AMAIZING with her scythe and stuff (her burts animations with her glitching is my fave), but I'm a Hu Tao enjoyer AND not a big fan of her kit, so idk
I want to know more about how her constellations in depth, if it changes her playstyle/rotation or if it even does at all. Her c2 nuke (kinda doesnt make snese cuz we start using her E first?) and c4 increasing blood dept by one. If c2 makes blood dept start at level 2 and +1 level hitting the enemy with ult.. does that mean we can start buffing other chars first before using Alre's E at all and then ult? For instance, with the Vape team all-c6 Arle, Furina, Yelan, and Kazu. Start with Furina ult, and e, and 2 autos for team wide healing for maxing stacks, Yelan Ult, and Kazu ult, then with Arle's *E* c2 (900%) nuke, and then *Ult* for another nuke and we still get blood dept at level 3 if the Boss is still alive at that point. Does that make any sense? I'd love to hear your opinion ~
I don't think I'm the best at analyzing high constellation gameplay, but will try my best. The C2 nuke is just from consuming a Level 3 bond with charged attack, so it's effectively a nuke from skill. With just C2, I'm not sure if you want to Skill last on Arlecchino since you still have to wait 3 sec, but definitely with C4 you can and should do that. The set up you described is fine, however, you won't be getting a Pyro VV with that rotation. Normally its fine since Furina/Yelan doing more damage with Hyrdro VV is still good, but considering C6 and you want to focus on Arlecchino damage herself, you might want to put Bennett for easier Pyro Vape set up. Lastly, remember that the C2 nuke comes after you get the 70% bond.

another issue with shimenawa is by the time u switch back to arlecchino after using her skill at the start of the rotation, the buff from the set would have almost expired so itll just be a detriment for both burst damage and na dmg

Do uou think going E > Q > teammates > CA > NA spam would be better because you'd get the energy particles from her skill to burst more or wait to do the burst after the CA so the burst can get the 40% pyro damage and deal more damage
probably still after to have the ult damage itself benefit from any teammate buffs (i.e. Bennett)

I think my favourite way to play arlechinno would be:

Fishcl
Dehya
Arlechinno using Thundering fury set.
Bennett gives alot of attack which is nice but assuming arlechinno doesn't have interrupt resist, Dehya would be very nice to have because interrupt resist is just so good. Dehya also have alot of dmg mitigation which is super nice since Arlechinno can't get healed from other chars.
Thundering Fury would be super quality of life as it greatly reduce her skill cd, this way she can heal very frequently and especially if Arlechinno has C2, she would release a nuke everytime she cast her skill and thundering fury allows this to happen very frequently essenstially a dps boost.
7:25 the artefacts for burning reaction will definitely be for Emilie, a dendro character releasing on 4.8 ^^ she will most likely be focusing on burgeon and keeping dendro cores near enemies (from what I've seen, it will most likely be something else lol) so this new artefact set is not completely useless in 4.6 but there're better options for dendro characters of course
it will be interesting to see what Hoyo cooks with Emile, I'm not sure how they'll make a burning-oriented character other than burn melt unless Emile has very specialized passives
@@anddad my guess is that she will be like Nilou/Kaveh, using dendro cores in a specific way, like maybe the seed just creates an aura of dendro or Pyro around them instead of simply dealing dendro DMG, that way the ennemis are affected by both elements at all time, idk we'll see
Worst case scenario the dendro cores exploding from burgeon deals as much DMG as exuberance in Nilou team and that's fine too, but since we need a hydro character to generate seeds, i don't know how it will affect team composition and stuff, we can only wait :')

Thank you for a very good, and detailed video. Im very happy to see someone finally say that she *NEEDS* bennet. When jstern did calcs with/without him yesterday... i'll just say om.
And yeah, i too, am expecting her to be buffed. If not damage wise, then at least her A4 will either recieve massive buffs(like unironically, she needs it to go from 20% to 40% at least), or just revamped into some kind of damage mitigation.
Also, talking about her Cons, i just think that her C1 should be working differently. As it stands now, on avg it will prock every 3rd hit, but you might just be that guy, and get a 0.00000001% chance to have 0 procs with 15hits, which, even tho extremely unlikely, it still just makes you wonder why did they make it a chance.
A much better implementation of that con would be for it to work just like her IDC. Every third NA hit->prock, Every CA->prock. Basically the same con, but without the chance of getting fucked, and with possible CA implementation into the rotation.
Otherwise, her kit just reeks of waiting for Natlan. Her's and Navia's signatures are both 674 base, and they are both atk% scale. For me, it just seems like some Natlan char is going to be giving a 120%-150% atk buff, and some other utility she might possibly need, thus replacing the need of bennet. Very possible that Chlorinde is also made with Arle's kit in mind. And is made to work with her, cuz apart from Chevy, theres really 0 synergy with the games roster.

Very interesting. I'm curious to experiment with how she would pair with Ei, Yae, and Xiangling, just doubling down on off field pyro damage and electro application. The lack of healer could cause issues, though perhaps Ei being able to swap into an on field role if Alecchino's health falls below comfortable levels would cancel that out.

in the arle yelan kazuha bennet team, is it viable to replace yelan with xingqiu? i have both, but you also mentioned that dmg absorption from xingqius swords could be helpful.
it's definitely a fine replacement, and depending on how annoying it will be to play Arle with no resistance to interruption, Xingqiu might be the overall better option even if he is "lower DPS"

Since the bond of life drain is proportional to current bond of life instead of max, isn't it better to burst midway through your normal attack spam rather than at the start in your rotation at 10:48?

Frontloading Bond of Life allows for more frontloaded damage since her infused/enhanced normals scale on Bond of Life. Also, bursting earlier allows Arlecchino to gain more particles while onfielding to hopefully burst the next rotation

Chevreuse, XIngqiu (like another commenter said), and potentially even Kazuha can be in the last slot. You can consider a shielder as well, but your damage will take a hit. White Tassel and Missive Windsphere are similar, I think I would lean toward White Tassel since the EM from Missive Windsphere is kinda wasted in overload-centric teams.

For some people who thought that she would be bad because she doesn’t synergies well with Furina. I can tell you that they released her before Natlan, as a character that waits the Pyro Archon to synergies the best with her, like Baizuh who relesed in 3.6 (before Fontaine), as a character that waits the Hydro Archon to synergies the best with her, and see how he preformed after her release… And Arlecchino’s team after the Pyro Archon releases is: Arlecchino, C6 Chevy, Clorinde, and the Pyro Archon; which makes a perfect Overload team for Arlecchino. And her kit is very likely to be buffed, like what happened to Furina.

You don't even need to play overloud, her kit has nothing that really benefits from overloud and she attacks with normal attack so Yelan will just work fine. Vape is just better overall unless Clorinde ends up being a super niche Overloud support\sub dps and you don't even know what the pyro archon does. I honestly hope she'll just be op in every team like Neuvillette instead of relying on a mid ass reaction.

Every since Shinobu, Thoma and Miko, I think the logic is actually the opposite. Why would they make Hyperbloom damage a character and need AoE Electro, implying you would perform it best with an Electro AoE Healer, or in Burgeon's case, a big damage that would make you perform best with a Pyro Shielder with weak Pyro Application to avoid burning? It's almost as if these reactions were created with Shinobu and Thoma in mind, not the other way around.
Same for Fontaine's HP dynamics. Healers were starting to get more use over shielders at the beginning of Fontaine because of Blooms, Rifthounds, enemies that penalize the use of shields by getting stronger, etc..., but it was still a DPS loss, and thus, the best healer that wouldn't hurt your DPS was Bennett. How would you make it so healers were NECESSARY, and would at the same time, avoid Bennett? Make HP Fluctuate all the time, so you wouldn't be able to use his ATK Buff reliably. Then Furina just benefitted the most from that dynamic, and at the same time, weaponized healers, turning them all into quasi-Benetts.
I Imagine Baizhu was a role-compressing unit, since we got Dendro healers which were really necessary to avoid using Kokomi all the time in Nilou Bloom teams, Dendro Shielders so you could free that Zhongli slot, and off-field Dendro appliers so you wouldn't solely rely on Nahida, but none that did all of that. Baizhu did all of that, being a fusion of Yao Yao, Kirara whom came later and a budget Nahida regarding off-field Dendro application, but his banner still underperformed. I think part of Fontaine's mechanics and culminating on Furina's kit, was all about the trends of that time with the rising of healers, the fact Hydro was the most useful element and HYV didn't want to powercreep them like Yelan, Kokomi, Ayato or Childe, regions somewhat play with a stat like Inazuma and ER because Electro, Sumeru and EM because reactions and Dendro so it was expected for Fontaine to play with HP. Baizhu was a piece of this puzzle too.
So For Natlan, it helps to think what part of the combat needs improvement, given Fontaine's characters are all to fill niches such as Crystallize or Overload or Mono-Pyro teams, and Sumeru was to diversify combat away from Vape/Melt and make Electro characters more usable, given how many came from the Inazuma's patches. Also, what will be the stat that is theme(Definitely ATK, Just like in Inazuma it was ER focused, Sumeru was Reaction Focused and Fontaine was HP Focused) and what sorts of gameplay it will invent. I don't know yet, but my first guess is that we really need to make Bennett superfluous if role-compression will still be the trend for supports. We have some like Sara, Faruzan, Chevreuse, Yun Jin, Candace that do in specific niche teams, but we need one for general teams. I think one way is for Natlan-focused teams to require EVERYONE doing some DPS to receive some buffs or as some condition, and Bennett doesn't do much DPS on his own. This would make Healers and shielders useless in their teams, thus limiting Furina's usefulness just like Furina herself limited Nahida's usefulness given their focii don't synergize(Furina can't buff Dendro's reactions like Bloom).
Natlan teams would be all about DPS, and it could even breathe new life to old DPS characters that aren't being used as much anymore such as Ningguang or Diluc. Healers, Shielders, CCs, buffers all get some use, niche or not, but DPS don't. If Hu Tao overperforms Diluc, why use Diluc? If Itto overperforms Ningguang, why use Ningguang? They only offer DPS as their main usefulness in teams, If only their DPS capabilities became some sort of support function just like heals or shields are, with a similar logic to how Furina weaponized and "Bennetized" healers or Raiden whom made High ER characters benefit from High Energy costs instead of hurting them, while solving their ER issues being an universal battery...
I imagine the Pyro Archon will be kinda like Eula's Burst, having a DPS check over a small time(imitating that thing of Natlan people fighting each other in her honor), but instead of exploding, she'd give some huge buffs, either to herself if she's a main DPS( and an Ironic Main DPS since her supports would need to be DPS characters too instead of supports like healers) but the way she'll gather those stacks will be more like Furina or Raiden. After All, we will need a 5* Bennett/Xiangling in the Future given the current trend is Role compression and their kits could easily be compressed into a single character and their role into a single char, and I don't think the healer part of his kit is all that necessary in many teams.
Given Arlecchino is quite front-loaded in her DPS, with a decaying amount of Buffs in her NAs since they consume Bond of Life and has nuke-style Skill and Buffs, it would synergize really well with a DPS check type of character. Leaks suggest Clorinde is kinda like Raiden but with Fontaine HP mechanics, so she converts HP Fluctuation into ER, and is focused on Overload and Electrocharge, so an Overload team consisting of Arlecchino as On-Field DPS, Clorinde as universal Battery/Nuke DPS, Chevreuse as Buffer/Healer and the Pyro Archon to check all this frontloaded DPS and do whatever with it would work really well given thise characteristics.

According to HomGDCat, C6 Chev works even if the character isn't healed. So the assumption is that C6 works. However, still needs to be confirmed.
Is Beidou a good fit for her in Overload teams? The damage reduction seems useful, she's likely doing normal attacks so that helps, and Beidou can help trigger Overload. Plus, Beidou is really good against waves of enemies, and I feel like that's where Arlecchino shines most.
Beidou sounds fine, my one concern is that she'll likely be solo electro in an overload team (Arlecchino-Chevreuse-Bennett-Beidou), so her ER reqs will be high. Also, I personally prefer the single target from Fishcl. But yes, in AoE, Beidou will likely be solid.

rereading the actual talent description, it does imply that killing enemies with other supports does work, will need confirmation to be sure tho

In the overworld id play her with furina but the main reason im pulling for her is because i dont have a busted pyro dps. I already have a guaranteed for female sepiroth

As a f2p player would you recommend pulling for neuvilette or arlecchino for an on field dps?
For "should you pull" questions I always say to choose the one you like more. I am always a supporter of this idea as to me, the game is about building and playing the characters you enjoy. That is where you get the most value out of your primos, which is very important as F2P. Ultimately, both are fine strength-wise and their teams will clear; Neuvillette teams will probably be more comfortable to play at the current moment.

Ok so, i have a question, i'm almost at ar 60 and i still don't have kazuha, do you think that she will work with double hydro+Bennet (like xinqiu, yelan and Bennet)? Btw i won't pull for kazuha in 4.5, i've been saving for months (since november) for arlecchino and i want to go all in into her banner because she is my favourite caractet
she'll work fine in that team, it has strong characters so the team will be strong! If Arlecchino is your favorite, GO FOR HER! Building and playing characters YOU enjoy is the main thing about this game. Kazuha is strong, but not necessarily needed 100%.

Looking at her kit, she will probably struggle with boss enemies? How will she get bol for single enemies?
Calcs I've seen are single-target oriented and she seems fine. BOL from single enemy will just be 70% (from skill, not including burst) as long as you charged attack at the 3rd Blood Debt stage. And 70% is what everyone is assuming from skill (from what I've seen).

I was hesitating on pulling on her, given I was neutral about her character back in the Archon's quests, ain't that much interested in Femme Fatale androgynous characters, and don't really need a Pyro Main DPS at the moment. I was immediately convinced when I saw her kit and her animations. I really love fun, complex kits over unga-bunga click-to-DPS type of characters, and her animations made me really invested in her. Luckily I'm on guaranteed pity so I'll get her. Shame I don't have enough for her weapon though, so maybe in her re-run next year.

Would melt be viable at all? It sounds like if she could work with Melt, Layla could potentially be a good option?
I haven't looked too much into melt because we don't have the best cryo enablers for it, but a team of Arlecchino - Layla - Rosaria - Bennett could be good enough. The biggest question is whether that is enough Cryo.
Any Idea how Sara will do with her? I've never used Sara, but bennets healing being worth way less on the kit makes me wonder if she might be a good alternative.
a little cope option IMO, Bennett has larger ATK buff, double the duration, and has better energy generation (pyro particles) for Arlecchino. and at higher cons, you won't take advantage of Sara C6, while Bennett C6 is still useful with Pyro damage buff

that team is still fine! replacing Zhongli with Kazuha will bring more damage, but just purely for comfort Zhongli is fine

unfortunately, my typical boring answer to which DPS you should pull is whoever you like more. because ultimately, you'll probably get the most enjoyment building and playing around characters you enjoy. Both Neuvillette and likely Arlecchino will have strong teams that can clear anything. Just depends on who you want to play around. Definitely wait until final info on Arlecchino tho!
Might just go for c1 nuvi at c1 kazu

I think Beidou, Xingqiu, and Bennet with Arlecchnio would be a good overvape comp. Beidou and xingqiu's damage resistance is crazy together and will help a lot with Arlecchino's anti-healing. That means you can safely get bennet's attack buff. The only down side is Beidou's damage falls off with one enemy.

Arlecchino is very good and she’s not as relient on her signature weapon as it seemed initially also she should be completely fine at c0 her cons seem to just directly buff her but she doesn’t feel incomplete so I’d say pretty god job so far with her kit design

Maybe I've missed it, but where's the pyro infusion? Does skill or ult give the infusion? It is mentioned in her normal attack, but what exactly gives her the infusion?
In her Normal Talent description, there is a passive that states that Arlecchino gains 40% Pyro DMG, pyro infused attacks, and enhanced normal attacks when she has greater than or equal to 30% Bond of Life. This is why Bond of Life is essential.

You can still use him, along with anyone that provides healing. It's just that Arelecchino just won't be healed. The other benefits should still work.
