this episode is so jammed pack。 the epic fight between levi and kenny and his troops!!! 😆 levi always gets praised for his fighting skills and rightfully so. But he also v smart and clearly innovative/creative. The way he uses his surroundings and just what he has is god tier. Like moving the alcohol bottles to see where kenny's position is, using his odm gear as stabbing weapons, shoving the chair out first,,, u get what i mean. Also, the scene where he answers kenny and immediately pulls out the rifle then shoot while the sound/music is silenced for a second?? gOd i love that idk it hypes me up all the time. Josh was smirking bc he, too, is a merchant. (Look at his gasp when reeves was killed; he felt it. lol kidding) hange's so passionate and i love that about her. They took pastor nick away from her when she has this interest over him due to the knowledge the scouts and humanity does not have, and just yknow, her genuine fascination over his behavior. So the loudening of the scream is so understandable. And she's so strong, the cockroach was def dead 😆 I’m happy owen noticed that the kid in the flashback is historia when sannes was saying stuff. and thesurname reveal HAHAHAHAH

actually it took lead action animator arifumi imai spent 1 month storyboarding and 3 months animating the sequence where levi was being chased by kenny's squad. and that's just the main frames animation (key animation)
Back when the show first started, things seemed a lot more black and white. Man eating monsters who ate people for seemingly no reason at all. But now there's a possibility that titans might just be people being tormented in an endless nightmare(like Ymir or Connie's mother). And now the Scouts are being forced to fight people. Suddenly the situation has become a lot less clear on who the "bad guy" is. And these guys are teenagers for the most part, so their world is being shook to its core. Tragic. Also, more manga to anime differences: In the manga, there's a lot more build up to Kenny in the arc before he pops up. Unlike in the anime where he pretty much shows up out of nowhere. Also, the Reeves boss guy lasts a lot longer in the manga. But because the anime kinda blasts through the Uprising arc, a lot of character moments get cut out.
Fun fact: Levi's hight is affected by the lack of sunlight during he's life underground
