Levi and Mikasa aren’t related at all. The Ackerman CLAN is a clan. Not a family. Mikasa is half of the Asian clan and Ackerman. Levi is fully Ackerman, obviously but he isn’t related at all with Mikasa’s father since he was an Ackerman as well. Kenny and Levi are related. Not Mikasa.

Lets remember that Levi is in his mid 30s and Mikasa is 15 (even 12 at the beggining of the show) so a romantic ship would be creepy af anyways. I think Levi is a very mature and skilled person that sees Mikasa and Eren as kinda immature kids that he needs to scold and take care of a lot of times. Even in that episode where Mikasa and eren went against Levi who wanted to inject Erwin instead of Armin. It became incredibly visible that the gap between their maturity and wisdom is huge and levi has always been aware of that.. I think Levi knows that Mikasas and Erens skills are incredibly necessary for the mission as a whole, but nevertheless does he feel kinda reluctant of them. For example, you can see from other videos that Isabel and Farlan were his friends he loved and wanted to protect at all cost and that meant a lot to him personally, while he treats Eren and Mikasa with more professionalism and detachment, less emotional. Their relationship is more like, we need to work together. No feelings at all on Levi's side. In fact, levi has often expressed annoyance over mikasas protectiveness towards Eren

Also, the point in my post was a completly different one besides their age gap lmao. Fans only ever talk about the "badass" or "cool" moments between these two but purposely neglect the negative ones. The amount of times that Levi has been fed up with mikasa's and eren's immaturity and ego is actually the most obvious thing about their relationship with each other. And mikasa probably hates Levi for beating up Eren (whom she's obv in love with) and for letting armin (the other friend she really loves) almost die and the other times he's been rude or condescending towards them. Levi is not their friend or lover, they are comrades and he is their superior. Nothing else

I think it's a bit strange just for the fact that they share the same surname, no matter how far the family history goes back. Plus, Mikasa is 15 and Levi is 35+ years old. 👁👁 I know you may say: "In S4, Mikasa is 19 so it's okay", but I still think it's a bit weird for a 19 year old and a 40 year old man being shipped together. Just my opinion, but to be honest, ship what you like. After all, at the end of the day it doesn't harm anyone.
