    What exactly is the Developer???

      after cleaning excess dye from the surface only, we apply some chalk dust which is the developer. The purpose of the developer is to draw the dye out of the flaws and make it come to the surface to be easily recognized. It's called the developer as it develops a visible indication

      @@kalpeshsingh2670 It depends on Whether the flaw is on surface or inside the bulk/volume of the test object.
