I believe videos like this are not only entertaining, but also educational (if you let them be). I operated an excavator for the first time last year. Watching talented operators like this, in a number of scenarios gave me a much better understanding of how to use the machine effectively and efficiently. Unfortunately, skill is not gained via videos, but I had much more confidence and felt I learned the machine faster. If you view everyone with the lens of having something new to teach you, you will never stop learning. I love watching channels like MrAJWorks (and Letsdig18, among others)! Thank you, AJ!

This guy really knows what he’s doing. I don’t know what he’s doing but hey I don’t operate a machine as he does. His neatness blows me away and when I get to the end of the video I’ll understand. Thankyou sir for teaching all of us so well.

Thanks again for another very interesting video. I hope you don't mind so many questions....when you are leveling the material for this lift, I notice you spread it around fairly level then seem to set the blade height and really smooth it by tracking. Your tracks compress the material a little. Are you trying to measure the height with the smoothed material or after it is tracked in? Probably a final grading step with motor grader for that...just wondering ... Another question, does your machine have the capability to pull a level drag or do you have to do that yourself by adjusting both the drag and height together?

I smooth out the sand after the markings on the sticks.I do it myself.Yes, then everything is profiled with a motor grader😉
Halloooo Mr.AJ I would be interested, do you work for a local authority or is it a private employer? These forest roads, why is there so much water there? Sometimes you have the feeling that you work there alone in the woods, but then you see someone driving far away 😋

Do you wish you had went with a tilt rotator instead of just the tilt? I’m sure there is a cost involved between the two, but do you wish maybe you had the rotating option as well? If you were going to do it all over again?

Where and why? Looks like it's all just forestry (lumber) management. But why the detail I'm the road? And intersections seem to close for lumber/tree cultivation and no buildings industrial or otherwise for a need for a road like that... please explain!
Yes, you think right. This forest road is intended for logging and forest management. You can also see that there are young plants in some clips. All forest roads in my videos are for logging and management🖐

Next time let us hear the roar of the engine and the forest sound, the music is good for some office stuff, not road making. the engine sound is the proper music. Props on the camera location, nothing is missed.
