Coming along nicely. Will the wheel base be the same?

Similar. Set at 114 currently for this rig he doesn't want to build new driveshafts but with more uptravel and links should be able to get it slightly longer wheelbase wise with the same driveshaft

Your plasma cutter made short work of the frame. what model are you using? those axles are really nice! that rig will be a "wolf in sheep's clothing".

It's actually a cheap Amazon amico cut45 thing puts in work. Definitely going to be super capable too

At what point to you build a rock crawler from scratch than to rebuild a perfect working, clean and capable rock crawler? But I get it, I'm trying to sell my current setup to build a better rig from scratch but it isnt happen, so yeah. This Rig is going to be sick!

There is a lot of ways to do it for sure. This happens to be a customers rig that he wants working better and more capable. Nothing wrong with always Improving. Builds always change as you grow as a driver. Youl never be able to sell a rig that you've built over years slowly for what you have into it. Plenty of builds coming starting from scratch as well as some full tube chassis stufff.

@@kreyzfab I have an XJ that I have had for 8 years now. I initially did a mild build for riding on the beach. Now I am slowly building it up for rock crawling. There has been some money spent twice, but still cheaper than starting from scratch at this point.
