Hi Gail and Alex. Beautiful footage of your countryside. I nominate the Derwent bottle, brass ring and the terra cotta pipe bowl for the windowsill of wonders this week. Hoping you stay safe and well in this terrible heatwave. North Carolina has been extremely humid for several weeks now. It feels like you're wearing the moisture in the air. Thank goodness for air conditioning! Hallelujah!
Right, I have my coffee, I'm settled on the sofa, the sound is just right and there are no other distractions...so lets get going...dum dum de diddle dum dum...
Dear Alex, Dear Gail, I really appreciate watching your videos - I really do! You mentioned that you already have too many bottles and during the video you mentioned several times your collection. I would be really interested in a sneak peak of your collection - how do you Store them? What are your plans with it? Super interesting that you're planning a floor with found tiles 👏 I also love your Videos showing your crafts, jewellery making or bead making, so I would love to see more of those. xoxo from Germany Stephanie
Yes, I've been waiting soooo patiently for further craft videos too, absolutely love watching the making of glass beads etc🤗😍 maybe the Winter months will bring us some lengthy craft videos🤞🤞
I love Gail & Alex for the same reason I love Kate & Fleur - indomitable spirit and interminable enthusiasm over little finds that may seem insignificant to others, but mean the world to artists and collectors. You know you’re always going to see something great!!
Hello 👋 from New York USA you Guy's found Some Amazing Finds my Favorite Definitely Was the Little decorative Hat pin the Ring 💍 and the Terracotta Pipe Bowl Thank you for Bringing me Along with you Guy's I can't wait to see What you Find Next 😊
So glad your back on line. I was so sad when your vid just stopped, yesterday. I hope your country pulls out of the sweltering heat wave that you are experiencing. Love your video and the terrific finds post rainstorm.
I have found many ceramic and lead animals but never a Hyena! It's fabulous! So happy Alex found her long awaited terracotta pipe 😀 Great video Ladies 💗 x
Was a good day at the foreshore with lots of lovely finds. Nice to see the nature shots and love that Derwent cough bottle, it looked. Perfect and a lovely colour. Thank you and have a good week
What on earth do you use to clean your bottles so nicely? Thank you for your lovely videos, they bring on a smile as I recover from surgery for breast cancer. You're both so lovely! 🥰🥰
Wonderful finds and treasures ladies! The most valuable treasures are the both of you and other mud markers, for not only uncovering history but what you all do help the environment. From across the pond in New Jersey, bless all of you. Hopefully both of you will come visit us here in states and have some mudlarking adventures.
A nice beautiful finds. Just love the little black button. Love your videos so much. I enjoy watching and all of the finds. You guys are awesome. Keep bottle digging. Can't wait till the next one. Lol
I was dreaming about mudlarking last night. I haven't gone for a while and there aren't so many places to look for stuff where I live, so I love watching your videos.
ALEX!!!💕 WHAT A SPECTACULAR DAY!!!💕 YOU FINALLY FOUND YOUR TERRA COTTA PIPE!!!💖💕THE RING IS BEAUTIFUL!!! &HOPE YOU CAN BUILD A CUTE LITTLE DOLL WITH THAT TORSOE!!!💕
Hi ladies, Maybe the terra cotta pipe since that was on your bucket list. All is right with the world whenever I get to enjoy time with you both. Thank you 😊 🌸
Have you ever studied the different types of Codd bottles? First thing to notice is whether its a two or four pinch neck. The pinches, as you probably know, were to hold back the marble when pouring your drink, and stop it from rolling down and blocking the flow. There are also square shouldered Codds and even Codd Hamilton hybrids, which as you can imagine has a Hamilton (Bullet shaped) bottom with a Codd top. There are collectors that specialise solely in Codd variants. Look out also for coloured applied lips, blue and rarely red. Codd bottles were sometimes made in blue glass and command silly prices. Here's hoping you might find one ! Best of luck from Cornwall
What a lovely finds! Congratulations with finding that terracotta pipe bowl, it definitely deserves a spot in the window! And that ring! 😍 It makes you wonder what happened. Did the owner unfortunately lose it, or threw it away in anger? Who knows. Every item has it own story, that's why I love mudlark video's so much. It aren't just things you're finding, but little stories.
Hi Gail and Alex what a great day for you both for finding your bucket list pipe bowl! Terracotta is an unusual find, I am so happy for you. I loved the excitement you both had! I missed you so much I had to watch your older videos. 🤣😂😊😊💜💜 you are awesome young ladies! Take care of yourselves. Cheers
Your hyena looks similar to figurines given away in boxes of red rose tea in the USA when I was younger. Maybe they opened a branch in the Uk. Keep making your lovely videos they add so much joy to the world.
I just love you guys!!! You are the best treasure hunters on you tube!! Beautiful ladies full of enthusiasm, fun and interesting information! The editing is so professional too! I love searching the shore near me in Langstone, Hampshire. I have a nice collection of treasures in my room. I'm not weird lol, but I do have anxiety, so getting to the shore is a worry. But when I get there, it is the best feeling in the world!! Thank you for doing this!!
Hi girls, l loved everything as always. The wee clay pipe bowl has to go to the window of wonders, and make the bucket list a bit shorter. Many thanks for sharing your fun. Lol Alioban xx
So many beautiful treasures! You are truly Blessed, and Congrats of the terracotta clay pipe! Seeds beads were strung together on a loom, which you can still buy, The native American's used seed beads in their Powwows and fancy dancers outfits and head dresses and so much more. I learned years ago to make bracelets and such on the looms and was even commissioned to do a fancy dancer outfit for a friend. I too love all beads!
Do you think maybe the Hyena is more likely to be a wolf, with its babies? I liked that find. It was so unusual. Shelf material for sure...but the little terracotta bubble pipe was also very interesting. So tiny and very cute. That also would be a good shelf addition. That place is so full of treasure. Always enjoy your larking adventures ladies. Thanks I can't wait to see your floor, made frome all the beautiful tiles you collect . Please show us when your done, won't you. 😃 x
Hi ladies, some very interesting finds today... I bet you could make some really cool wind chimes with those cod bottle necks and miscellaneous cogs ...you are so talented!! 🌬️🌬️🌬️
I go ahead and hit the thumbs up button before the video is even started since I know it will be enjoyable, because, well. . .Northern Mudlarks. What more can we ask for? Love these ladies and their great enthusiasm for their finds.
What a wonderful video! Have you considered re-making the hat pin tops back into hat pins? There’s got to be an online site that sells just the pins. Some people collect hat pins and display them in vintage salt and pepper shakers.
Hi, lovely day out with surprising treasures, perhaps the poor hyena could go in the window he looks so dejected and would be so happy to be pride of the pick to go in the window !!! Delightful to share in your joy today, thanks for taking us along.
This riverside treasure hunt is always fruitful…and beautiful, besides. How nice to be able to work alongside the river with flora and fauna abounding. I love how so many of the pieces that you find, you are excited with the potential of them to become something else, a lovely and creative craft. Congrats on the clay pipe..it’s very special!
The quack medicine bottle should go in the Window of Wonders for a brief stay (before joining the collection) as well as the mixed medium marble, the ring, the hyena, and the terra-cotta pipe bowl. Thanks for another great video!
I have got that exact same little sailor boy torso! Mine has no head either. Mine was found mudlarking in the Menai Strait in North Wales. I love your videos, thank you so much for taking the time to film them for us xx
I think either the amazing terracotta pipe bowl or the ring for the Window of Wonders. I thought of the Hyena, but she belongs ( why she? hyenas are a matriarchal grouping) with the other little cake toppers. You DO cheer up my day. Whilst I do other things I have you playing on my table. Thank you for your never failing excellent videos. Xxx
You both do the best videos! Informative, beautiful and exciting. I really liked the sailor body with the holes for wires! Thank you for putting together such great videos and giving us a good look at how the finds looked all cleaned up!
Thank you so much for watching! You can find last weeks video here if you haven't already entered our giveaway - ruclips.net/video/esLrAlkaXNA/видео.html

Your hyena reminds me of Romulus and Remus the twins nursed by a wolf. Such fun to watch you both. Blessings from across the pond!
I thought the same….It reminded me off them!🙏🏼👋🏼🇨🇦
You just read my mind, it totally reminded me of Romulus and Remus with the she wolf.
The little animal figures remind me of the Red Rose tea figurines.

I think that top of the cod bottle with the marble would make a very cool pendant! Of course with the bottom of it smoothed.
