Yes, this was a bit of a theme for my travels around the country! I think this was partly due to the general downturn in Tunisian tourism following the attacks in 2015, and then exacerbated by the covid-19 pandemic in 2020-21. Here's hoping the sector recovers in 2023. In some ways, my guidebook could not be coming out at a better time!
