- The Calgary Flames have made a lot of changes to their roster since the end of the 2023-24 season! With the 2024 NHL Draft and the bulk of free agency complete, Ryan takes his stab at projecting the Flames' NHL roster and the Wranglers' AHL roster - complete with guesswork forward lines and defensive pairings!
Marvel at Ryan's guesstimated Flames and Wranglers lineups, then revisit this again in the fall and revel in telling him how wrong he was!

Not enough talk about how there's no room for Coronato in flames land eh? I dont mind it, as the Wranglers looked pretty great, but behooves the team to make space for Matt if he comes into camp and earns it.
I could see a situation where if Kuzy starts the year off on fire, we trade him by December and Coronato comes up and takes a top 9 spot and runs with it.
Ryan you look like you just finished a shift serving tables at red lobster!! I beleive William Stromgren will crack this line up.. I hate the Mantha signing becuase it will be tough to give minutes to Coronato now and goos luck Pelletier getting any playing time.. I expect top 3 lines to look like this Huberdeau,sharangovich,kuzmenko or Mantha... Zary,Kadri and Pospisil... Steomgren,Backlund and Coleman..
I've been shat on for that exact take. I don't understand putting more established middle 6 wingers in the way of coronato and Pelletier. There's already enough wingers to have a solid competition in camp and throughout the year. But mantha is signed, hopefully gets flipped before long.
