Great episode as always! I remember liking Cixing but I fought him pretty late and I only fought him once so maybe my opinion would change if I fought him again. I also fought the enemies that looked like him more than you did I think which helped with reading his moves. Apparently Ji was supposed to have a third phase but because of budget constraints they decided to make it a two phase fight. I appreciate your dedication to the voice acting and choosing dialog options you think would best fit the character. It really adds to the experience.

I am not sure why, but all those duplicating dudes just give me so much trouble-I think getting the precise timing on the Flying Kick when they all come at you is what throws me so much. Even after my second playthrough, they still give me a hard time! Oh man, I would love a third phase for Ji! He was a great fight, I had a lot of fun with him. Hey thank ya! I did it for Hollow Knight, so I thought I'd do it for Nine Sols not realizing I'd be doing _so much_ of it, but overall I think it was a good time nevertheless! Even if Ruyi hurts my throat haha.
