Thanks very much for the easy, straight forward explanation. I tried this in my latest video and it worked perfectly. Please keep posting more tutorials.
Hi EZBOT and thnx for your tutorials! They are really awesome and helpful. I cannot reach that effect and I did all the steps. OS 1.40 right now Still cant get what I do wrong
Hi Matthew! I'm wondering if you're able to make a video on how you structure your crossfader effects. Can you explain how you take note of these effects with the writing under all of the trigs?
Great stuff! I'm going to try this right away. The OT is a real keeper in my studio, principally because of things like this, thank you for highlighting it.
Yea! It works really well. I've been thinking about how to do a spinback-like effect for a while. Setting another LFO to modulate the speed of the first can make it even more interesting (if a little unpredictable).
Nice tutorial always amazing to watch I have a question the stutter only works when I turn lock off not understanding why does it depend on the machines I'm using such as flex vs static?
Nice video, thanks! What I can't figure out is why I can't remove a delay feedback tail that remains upon moving crossfader back to A. Whatever I tried didn't work out, and if I just reduce the dly feedback it's not the delay I wanted anymore. Is there something I'm missing?
Cool😎…I think then a turntable like stop should also be possible: lfo and crossfader automation on pitch and/or rate in the same way. I know there is no pitch on the mastertrack, I’ll try it on a flextrack with an amenbreak this evening. Btw: to make a stutter fx a square lfo on the volume is the easiest way i think. i want that the crossfader controls the rate of the stutter fx but synced....-only 8th , 16th etc. nothing between. Do you have an idea how to make that? best regards pauli
Can someone tell me, is it possible to lock the Rate (speed and pitch, like tape speed) to samples, so that when I change the BPM, the samples speed up/slow down according to the changes? I’m not talking about timestretching or pitch algorithms, just actual speed/rate of samples.
Hey man! I cannot get it to work once I lock the LFO settings. With your settings I (spd 100/ dpt 10) all I get is a short high pitched sound. If I put the depth at 20 I sorta get the tape stop effect but with a low sample rate effect (lofi style), any clues?
Don't want to do it yourself? I got you covered. Project file located here www.patreon.com/ezbot

Thank you, I am gonna have to watch your video!
your OT tutorials are quite impressive and make great use of this flexible machine. will defo steal some of this stuff XD
Glad to hear! It's all yours my friend

Love your tutorials on the Octatrack dude! Thanks a lot!
Thank you!

mightlife it’s my favorite piece of gear besides my guitar 🎸:)

mightlife you can use the random LFO or triangle and set the LFO to sync trig
Nice work, love these updates.
SteampoweredCid thanks!
Useful thx.
thanx, awesome as always
datdarkcray datdarkcray thank you!

Lock on. Scene lock at 0. Than raise the send above zero.
@@EZBOT_ Thanks bro worked like a charm.

Go into test mode. Hold FUNC while turning your OT on. Select 1. Hold FUNC + Scene B. This will reset your crossfader.

Using the freeze delay has always been my go to for stutter fx 🥰

sick my man!
Victor López Greses thank you!

Not sure, I’d have to see it to diagnose the issue. Give it another shot, maybe an encoder got bumped somewhere.
hey I have the same problem. It feel like a bitcrusher. I hope i didn't broke anything
eems like it needs to be on sync
Experimenting with different LFO settings now....
UNINTUITIVITY HAS ITS PERKS, dang.
