When my son (now 21 and in college) was little, he LOVED Thomas. He had all the DVD’s, about 500 pieces of wooden tracks, all of the cars, books, a knapsack for school - everything. To this day, he keeps a wooden Henry and his tender in his bookshelf.

the fact that this vid shows every crash in the classic series and goes up to 33 minutes really shows how unsafe sodor is.

I love Alec Baldwin and all the weird little tones, accents and nuances he gave to the characters; but George Carlin just had a very soothing, relaxing voice. Sort of like a pre-cursor to Michael Angelis.

Goerge Carlin was objectively better than Michael Angelis. I am American, so I am biased.

It's so disappointing that all of the insanely cool crashes we got back in season 5 was all because of TATMR, the movie that caused the slow downfall of the show. I still don't understand why they even tried to make it so realistically theatrical with the crashes, when there's barely a crash in that movie in the first place. Imagine if we never got that movie, the show could've been so much better than what it turned into.

Looking back on this show, I find that the trains were way worse at staying on the tracks and, yk, being trains than I remembered when growing up with this show😅 every train crash is the same. “Oh no, Percy’s trucks are misbehaving again, causing him to get distracted and miss the sign that says icy tracks, but by the time his conductor (a literal voice in his head) tries to warn him….it was tooooo late” and he proceeds to crash into a snowball or something😅
Coaches and trucks were definitely harmed in the making of this film.

Well, due to their sizes, I’d say either less or a million on engines like Thomas or Percy and a couple millions to billions like James or Gordon.
(Btw, if Sir Topham Hatt’s railway has the money, he can always fix his engines because it’s a heritage railway and he loves them dearly.)
