I’m not questioning your knowledge, your videos are very helpful and have helped me identify a lot of my clothes as a collector. I just want to know what do you use as your sources? I want to be able to independently research my clothes if possible. Thank you for the many helpful videos.
Defunkd.com is a solid resource, but you'll find, as with most vintage info, that there aren't authoritative "sources" in the traditional sense. Lots of my research is novel ( like my wrangler video includes research on the date codes on wranglers likely not done by anyone ever), so to cite all the sources would be tedious. I may make a video on some of the tools and methods that I use beyond personal experience.
@@LootFam Thank you so much for responding! I understand what you are saying and I’m thankful that you named that website. I am currently travelling to the us and with the help of your videos I’ve dated 2 pieces of levis jeans I’ve bought and now with this one I dated a jerzees sweatshirt I found on fb marketplace. Your channel is a valuable resource to people like me who nerd out on vintage clothing. Keep doing what you do 🤙
@@dawnyboy635so What Year definitly the tag print is ? (-/+) . Cuz I have one with print tag on band tour shirt, the shirt call the tour is 2004/2005 .. So is that Right 2005 ? Or is it Just a Reprint ?
Most of u don't even know ur stuff making videos I have double stitch 80s shirts and made in Korea 90s shirts but everything u think is vintage u say must have a made in USA tag and single stitch not true at all
Yeah, I’ve never said that. Being made is USA is generally a good indicator of being vintage. But that doesn’t mean all vintage shirts are made in the USA.
Got a couple of them crispy grid tags.even that US made late 90s one on a beautiful woven sweater

Sometimes they can go for 15-25. Sweet
This was super helpful, thanks for creating it!
You're so welcome!
Do u have a video on identifying vintage wrangler? If u don’t can u make one pls
I don’t presently but i’m working on putting one together. Hopefully soon.
What about if it says hi densi t?
is"Jerzees Hidensi-t" vintage?
I have a misfits legacy of brutality Jerzees t, but the tag says “Jerzees Dri-Power ACTIVE” what years would they have use this tag?
What about the jerzees tag that is printed on the sweatshirt? Is it vintage or not?
the logo is just like the common logo of jerzees but the Z is white rather than red.
not vintage
